Yerr Mate(s) all rivers generally go up at night not down - unless their tidal!! I was a rafting guide on the franklin river in Tas.. many moons ago and we used to place a long stick at waters edge in the evening and compare to the morning..... many times the stick was gone in the a.m washed away..Big Tip for old and new players walk down and check river height before driving the beast to waters edge..
Thankyou 😊 i got alot out of that episode. Down here in Australia I love both my Kathmandu Sunstopper hoodies. Take care, we look forward to more of your adventures.
preventative maintenance. watch u.s. vids.. dont buy jap..good vid, is offroad hub.. watch him build,/, fix,,his fj cruiser.. most 4x4 guys in u.s. ditch the ifs for a solid diff.. sas.. laws here are over restrictive. to build a decent 4x4..
Earning your keep there fellas. Wise call, abort. Those bush failures, classic case of fitting and tightening bushes up while on a hoist with wheels hanging down, drop hoist and as tyres/diff return to ride height twist the crap out of the bushes and down the track have a failure. Should always tighten suspension up at normal ride height.
In wet mud the tiretread get filled with mud and turn them into slicks. Wonder if a spray of silicon would keep the treads clean enough to serve their purpose? Also, reduced tirepressure make the tread smaller, and less capable to drain.
Do they sell the Toyota tundra in Australia? Just curious as to why so many land cruisers are cut. In the states we have the Nissan frontier and titan and Toyota Tacoma and tundra.
why are you attempting this with trailers, you just wreck the track for the others than want to use it. they tell you at the telegraph station about the french track. i have crossed both the wenham and pascoe rivers on the way to chillie beach in my troop carrier.
Really good question , they dragged that f@#%ing great trailer in there , for what ?? They could have left it the at Archer River Roadhouse and had a much more successful trip . Who knows , they might have made it through to the Pascoe river .
I do wish we had all the diesel options. 8 contact Toyota USA when they were considering a diesel Tacoma and was told US emissions is way to strict, they would have to revamp the entire emissions to make them US complient. I referred to Australia's love of diesels and was told the US is way more strict. This was in 2015, not the dumbass government we got now.

What I think is impressive is the safety aspect of you all almost always clicking on the safety belts.
Not when you're in a river. You want to be able to get out quickly. I'm surprised he put the window up!

I spent a night in that sandfly infested swamp in the 90’s, I can say it is not recommended! No winch and pulled out with a tifor winch the next day!
What a mud bog nice😂
Guys that background music was bloody awful and far to loud, engine noise is better.
too
Old clip, might not have transferred to UA-cam as well as the more modern stuff.

I can't get over how much weight ya take with ya! Damn. Solid effort tho.

The show that shows us how to wteck our rigs lol 😂😂😂
Over extension of the cast rubber bush has torn the centre out of the bush👍 normal hard work wil do that.
Great vid. But while episode on not doing one crossing haha
Walks straight into crocodile infested river haha
Why isn't the locker on when you're trying to get out of the river and up the hill
Because there would be no content. You could also ask why did they not check the river level before going down. Again, no content in that :)
@@einfelder8262 ahh yep. Silly me haha
Need to stop carting all that weight around. The side by side gotta go.

No.
You wouldn’t check the water before driving down

My thoughts exactly. Chewing the tracks up far more than necessary and wrecking them for the future with that huge trailer
Really good question , they dragged that f@#%ing great trailer in there , for what ?? They could have left it the at Archer River Roadhouse and had a much more successful trip . Who knows , they might have made it through to the Pascoe river .
Standing 7 metres away and still using the 2 way
No crocs in there???
A lot of water flowed down the Wenlock since this video was filmed......
What? You didn't think to check the river beforehand?😂

why did you not check the river in the morning before sending ya rig down.... seems a bit silly
Then there would be no content.
@@einfelder8262 true
Why is the music so loud! Can’t hear anything
Lack of service?????
Why don’t these blokes have sleeves like most adults?
Why doesn't Simon wear shoes
This would be my idea of hell , 😮
😆😆😆😆😆😎😏 hahaha!
Camper rollover came off OK. I'd say you broke mums china though.
To be fair you guys need to scrutineer your vehicles a little better before voyaging
