- Status Quo playing Pictures of Matchstick Men at the Camden Roundhouse for their Aquostic gig broadcast on BBC Radio 2.
Yes, it's available on the red button on BBC, but this is the slightly shaky, from the audience point of view video
i am 65 now -- thissong is everything to me!!!!!!!!!
Played this record many times as a radio DJ in the states...LOve IT....Just so special seeing this....Great Memories!
MAGIC Ive loved this song since it came out in 67 , , thanks guys your so special . ritchie .
This is a first for me, I've never ever seen Status Quo do acoustic!!🤩🤭😁😃❤️🏴
No arguments, this song defined the psychedelic rock of the 60s...but we're all glad they went rock and roll! Still the greatest rock and roll band ever!
An epic flawless version of this great tune by an amazing band👏👏👏!
It's cool that the audience is singing along with them, it shows how much they love that song. ❤
Best song to come out of the 60"s
@@andrewfranklin2389 I agree! 👍
yeeee
Toppen bra bäst.
No doubt the Teleprompter/Screen Lyrics is out view facing crowd🎶✌️
Takes me back to my hippie college days. I still have my fringe vest and love beads. Great music era. TY Quo.
Violins for the classic riff. Sublime!
Bloody wonderful 👍 thankyou for all the lovely memories ❤I am a 72 born baby, so glad I was born when I was
Status Quo are excellent I love this music it’s wonderful
Their fans grew old along with them. That's loyalty for you.
I was planning to buy a ticket for their next tour when one of the members passed away from a shoulder infection. They were always one of my favorite bands back in the day.
Gives me flashbacks to a very colorful time of my life
One of their first and definitely my favourite. They were a British institution and incredibly hard working.
Pictures of Matchstick Men.......oh wie nett. Viele schöne Erinnerungen an die Zeit damals...
Quo fans are the same all over the world. Thank you Quo for everything you have given to us 🙏🙏
the hairs on my arms and neck just stood up wow! wish I had been there.
I was 11 years old when this released 1968
until I found it recently on yewspewed - I could not remember the song - I could only remember the guitar lead-in
Grandes tempos.
I owned the same Super 200 Jumbo Cutaway, fantastic Gibson
Música maravilhosa os meus parabéns pela excelente música com alma
from 1968... amazing music
I was 10 years old when this song came out. Looking at all the old people in the audience most of the men bald and probably the bulk are close to my age probably a little bit older. I was lucky in one respect, I kept most of my hair..
I love them
Very cool. ..another timeless gem .I remember the girl who turned me on to this.tune. very well she was gorgeous
Status quo FOREVER🙏🤩 WONDERFULLY 🔥💥👌
Rossy - MAGNIFI MAN 👌👌👌
I'm a 68 year old husband, father and grandfather.
I look at Rick here and I almost want to cry ...he looks crook.
(Love this song, and thanks so much for the upload)
Aussie hope you're still around......don't you dare to drink my Fu Fosters.....hi from Amsterdam.
@@ericnijkamp7926 Still around. Plenty of Fosters still flowing from the taps.
Bearded virginal IT engineers who weren't even born when this was released....
Never heard the acoustic version before. Its great!😊
GENIUSZ MUZYCZNY!🥰
Música boa! Descobri esta música assistindo MIB 3.
That was great.
Oh yes!
Песня 1968 года✌⚡✊👍🤝
11 aprile Roma ❤
Hello
No questions
Wonder how many times they have sung this song???
Got to say it's not like claptons accoustic version of layla, this just sounds like a quiet version of the electric song.
sounds like bittersweet symphony??
the baaastards...they ripped off the verve...who'd have thought it.
Barely a full head of hair amongst the whole audience.
Great video on why I quit concerts many years ago. I wanna hear the band not some frog voice in the audience that thinks he/she/it can sing. I think my last was in late nineties, 38 Special or REO, maybe?.
Barry Rawlings
Wait a minute. That frog 🐸 voice was ME !
NO, no,no. Just messin" around, my friend. I know what you mean, that is so funkin" annoying.
Then there are those who warble and play air guitar or air drums. A double whammy.✌️
Once, I went with my girlfriend to a concert. She started to sing or rather, she tried singing along. She's tone deaf. I asked her to please not sing. Well, to make a long story short,
I didn't get laid that night. ✌️ bro
mot die oukes af....
Ich bin Fan von ihnen aber ist man verblödet im Alter so einen Hit niederzumachen von der eigenen Band
Doesn't sound good without the wah wah pedal, that's what makes the song
I see lots of bald heads. 😄
Acoustic doesn' t work. I' ve got the 3 aquostic albums, like I' ve got every single Quo album. But I don' t like it.. They are not a folk band, they never have been, and they never will be.
Yeh. Apart from seeing them , I wouldn’t spend money on a ticket to hear that
My Tears Flow ...Ge't so Bella
