The thing that makes AC/DC great, as it did for other bands such as CCR, etc was the simplistic nature of the guitar compositions. This is just pure old school rock'n'roll. While other guitar players egotistically tried to outperform one another, Angus always kept his eye on the sound. And damn, how many bands lose their lead singer, replace them with another, and still continue going strong and growing in the charts? Not too many bands have been able to pull that off.

@@jmcc2275 are you kidding me, AC/DC studio recordings are very similar to there live performances, AC/DC never fake there music, and are always true to there sound, studio or live, they give you AC/DC.
Angus is one of the few I really want to see at least one more time. A true legend, and someone who really powers up the sound - loud.
Love it. Great sound quality too. Thanks for this:) I still can't play that thunderstruck lick without mucking it up.
So good! Was so loud, my ears are still ringing! Incredible performance, rock gods. Thanks for the recording, the audio is brilliant.
WOW great Concert best of ROCK and ROLL THANKS For SHARING 💯🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥
This short heighted school kid never fails to rock
Vertically challenged
Fun size, but damn he’s energetic even through sound of an instrument
@@seasondyes19905 foot 3, inspiring guitarist and a gentleman.
Matt Laug is doing a great job. All the songs are in perfect tempo!
Yep wise choice, in my opinion one of the best straight ahead rock drummers out there. This explains why he has left Dirty Knobs 🔥🥁
Agree. And Chris Cheney on bass is also great!
He is doing a great job
Have to disagree a little about the song tempos and this really wasn’t his fault. Thunderstruck intro was way too slow imo but that’s really on Angus since he starts it. Like any good drummer, he picked up the pace when everyone started playing.
I saw AC/DC when I was a teenager, I've now got my teenagers into AC/DC!!! great to still see them rocking it out....
i was there one of the best atmospheres in ages everybody hugging sing wonderful lets have a city called angusville were we all live .
Brian's had it with his voice it's pretty much gone ! All good things must end ! & I lived through the best of it 1959 to 2024 wow what a ride ! Still jamming ! 😂
He just needs to shed 40lbs and get on the tread mill. Maybe put a call in to Mick for some pointers.😄
Yeah his voice does it for me need a change 🤷♂️
Pritty much gone? That's being generous it's completely gone
It's was a brilliant night, so glad I was there
me too, where were you sitting?
id place my bets and say this is the oldest band with still the 100% best live performance . thank u for the great footage !
Thanks for sharing this Awesome Performance! Excellent Acoustics and Video!👏👏👏👏
AC/DC, Sabbath with Dio, Alice in Chains, and I can't think of any others. STP had Chester for a bit but he was kind of a celeb fill in.
You know. It ain't like it was, but seeing them on stage still giving every last ounce of sweat blood and tears is great.
These guys were performing when Elvis was alive and performing. They are still touring today. That is amazing! Keep on rocking! Love it!!
I can’t believe Brian still can sing like this! Incredible! Angus is a bit slower (at least in Thunderstruck) but still amazing.
Brian is struggling… Good for them though for still doing it and filling stadiums.
Yeah, he admittedly is, but I’d much rather see this than someone auto tuned, or worse, lip synching. AC/DC always brought it live. And I appreciate the energy and rawness of a truly live show
Stop complaining. That’s why so many bands lip sync and resort to using backing tracks because of wannabe music critics like YOU who never fail to shut up about them not being as good as they once were. Just shut up!
Actually I don't think he's struggling much. Live recorded phone footage, won't capture his voice. He doesn't sounds much different to ten years ago
@@paulharrisonadventuregearm5457
Whatever is recording will pick up the vocal just as clearly as all the other elements of the band, and they’re all plenty loud enough, so the problem is in the mix.
I was there last night on the main pitch, Angus was awesome
65 years old and I remember buying my first ACDC album.. HIGH VOLTAGE!!! ... Absolutely love this band.
ac/dc will forever hold a special place in my heart they were the first rock band i really heard and got into. so cool to see these legends still killing it!!
He will continue playing for the folks in the graveyard.. I wishhim health and a longer life.
The apex of rock music In any age. Also, big respect for the rhythm player doing what is basically impossible, standing in for Malcolm.
yep I'm 57, and when Angus hit that first chord my eyes welled up!!😅 I love these guys so much!!!❤❤❤❤
Fantastic love AC/DC....Hope they bring there new tour back to Australia rock on ....
I thought Brian's hearing was such that he couldn't perform live anymore - but it's cool to see him and hear him sounding pretty damn good!
He went through a recovery period and it is truly remarkable that he was able to come back. Extraordinary, really.
This is how to make a convincing Rock and Roll Performance.
First You build The Stage with a High Wall full of Marshall Amplifiers and the You start to Play!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌👌👌🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Very Well Done!😎🇫🇮
They will live on and on. I am still in love with them and their music. I would love to have that bell. LOVE YOU GUYS.❤❤❤
It makes me feel so happy seing old people still enjoyng the things they love the most. They have a gift and they are using it in every way possible.
Got to give to Brian he is absolutely giving it his all ! and it shows!
he’s a treasure
Matt Laug on drums here. Hard to see here
@@coldacre ain't Phil ;-)
@@coldacrewere u joking surely u know it's not Phil right.
@@coldacreoh dear, please say you were joking, even if its just to cover yourself. EVERY ACDC fan knows it wasnt Phil.
Still kicking ass!
I'm 65 and I seen them on their Back in Black tour. God Bless these guys. R.I.P. Malcolm 🎸🙏🏼😎
Angus guitar playing is still spot on, Brian is giving his best, the band is rock solid, what more can you ask for…
BEST LIVE BAND PERIOD
I was lucky enough to see them in 1977 Norwich had a fantastic night then as I did on Wednesday 3rd still top notch
I'm the same age as Angus and couldn't imagine playing my guitar up on stage like he is. Shame his brother is no longer with us. RIP Malcolm. Both boys born in scotland.
Every song played was a massive hit! One of the most important rock bands ever! They're catalogue cannot be touched for consistency,by any band
this band just gets better, such energy for their ages, just amazing lads.
Great video! Thanks for sharing so glad their still doing it
I am 62 year old and still admire his vitality. Even I also like jazz and classical music.....
I was there, 1st time seeing ACDC live, they were awesome. Thanks for posting, I'll bookmark this and come back to it ... again and again 😂
I hate seeing so many phones but am also grateful to be able to watch this probably recorded on a phone
At this point, it's a bit unavoidable, but there's an etiquette I like to follow. I film snippets on my phone just to be able to relive it but all the while enjoying it with my own eyes and ears. Obviously because everything's online now, you can't keep any ticket stubs. So merch, photos and footage is all you have for keepsakes. I also make sure I'm not holding the phone in a way that obstructs views for too long or at all.
@@squidwardshouse5431’for too long’ 😂🤣🤦♂️
Thank you for sharing this. Cant wait to see them here in Denver. Awesome.
this is awesome! Thanks for posting. They still sound great.
I just had my 259th birthday, and I can say without a doubt AC/DC kicks the most ass since Beethoven's "5th Or Bust" Tour in 1808.
Legend for recording this and uploading it...folk moan people film at gigs but we need folks like you! I was at the other side of the stadium seated due to leg issues so its nice to see a vid of it closer and i have a mate with dementia who got me in ac/dc so he will be well chuffed with this...🤘🏻
exactly!! I don't have physical issues or dementia BUT being an American would've made seeing this show in the flesh basically impossible. glad I can see it here too
Seen these guys in Cleveland in the 70s still Great, pretty sure I had all there albums, 8tracks and cassettes
THANK YOU SO MUCH 💓!!!!! I love Angus!! I saw Bon Scott with them in 1978. I'll never ever forget it!! I just turned 16 and got my first tattoo! 😅
I am 61 yeas old and each time I listen to their music I am back in 1976 when I discovered them \m/
Loud & Fast, Rock & Roll - AC/DC is to rock what air and water are to life.
