I can imagine that Francis Rossi would be a great bloke to have a pint with in the local pub, as he is always cracking jokes and has never taken himself too seriously, despite his band's enormous success after all those years. I do still really miss Rick and Alan, though. R.I.P Rick Parfitt and Alan Lancaster.
@@FrozenHero2010 Fair enough, but I'm quite sure that Francis would also still be a good laugh to talk to. I do agree that Rick was the true party animal of the group, though.
Was 13 yrs old in 74 and though not really a big fan of Status Quo... their song "Pictures of Matchstick men" is one of my all time classic favourite songs... I will never tire of hearing this song :)
I saw Status quo in 1974 and I still have a scrap book of cuttings from the new musical express and melody maker. I wrote in my crap book after I saw them " Status quo's the greatest ,the biggest and the best, they're fabulous, magnificent and better than the rest ". I walked out of that gig 10 foot off the ground.
Francis clearly is unable to get emotional. Not because he wants to be but because he doesnt know how to be and he's scared. I've seen enough to know this. Hope he one day gets over that bump, at least if its active in his personal life, and feel better.
I couldn't watch this video until today. I hadn't been strong enough to face his sadness and pain. I know I should avoid using religious words here, but I couldn't help but pray to God to support him and protect him every day. He and I have the same birthday and we're both Geminis, although our ages are different. Geminis have duality in every way, but I feel he's a well-balanced person. I like him even more, after watching this video. I'll forever be his fan.
A great man totally English suffering is a private thing I would imagine the lose of his best friend was heart breaking but the British stiff upper lip lives on . My comment is with the greatest respect
I'm from Australia. I always said that nothing good ever come out of Britain, indeed. But maybe, just perhaps Status Quo' rock n roll was okay and might be exceptional?
I always wondered, did everyone call him Francis? I know a man called Francis, his father was Francis too. However, Francis senior was known as Frank, junior was called Frankie until senior died, then he became Frank. They both hated being called Francis because of the female version of the name, and how often people got it wrong, Frances.

What a humble man and boy has he given us joy through the years. I'm 62 now and I still love his music!!! He will live forever!!!
Да, пока мы живы , его почитатели и фанаты

What you see there is Francis's public persona. In private he's much quieter. Rick would be the mate down the pub type.

Yea, I miss the old QUO.

Me too. December 1974 UNBELIEVABLE!!!! In The Capitol in Cardiff
When it comes to Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, I guess it's a matter of 'whatever you want!'
One of the stars forming the musical backdrop to our lives. I was given Pictures of Matchstick Men on my 21st birthday. Long live Francis!
What a fabulous character. What a fabulous musician. What a fabulous voice. Long may he continue to bless us with his presence.....or what...
Good old Rossi .
I wasn't particularly into status Quo but I did like them .Both Rick and Francis were good lads 🎶
Wow with the amount she talked, you'd think she was the one being interviewed, poor hosting
She’s always the same
It's hard to listen to, unlike listening to Francis
😂you nailed that one mate! Maybe a little excited to have him on.
She’s self-centered Lorraine the Pain
Anyone know her arksent?

The characteristic English reserve is embodied right here with how Francis conducts himself here.
Absolute rock legends!!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
I think it's terrific you're still here
Solid man, solid band! Great music. The business comes first=success.

Rossi is a highly knowledgeable and intelligent man behind the rocker demeanour. Very deep thinker. Positive manifestation.
4 years ago, 3 days ago, huh? when are we? otherwise stoic and satisfactory
Tanta salute per te FRANCIS ROSSI ❤
As an interviewer she needs to find a new job...
dont get why all of the photos that they're showing are blurred out? WTP?
Why doesn't Status Quo come to Brazil?
Rossi family business was icecream. Best in West Ealing, London. Happy memories buying icecream from them on a Saturday with my mum.
Such a nice guy
Great book - honest!
Great to see Francis Rossi, just wish we could have had a better interviewer.
I came here to listen to Francis Rossi, but it's mostly just the "interviewer". Uuggh
Lo unico que puedo decir es que nunca lo vi tan elegantemente vestido...😊❤

There is the nomination for the world's worst interviewer!!!!!!!!!
she talks far too much and doesn`t give her guests any chance.
Fraid I have to agree.
A female johnny Vaughn
Indeed. Terrible, terrible interviewer.

Have i missed something Status Quo's Francis Rossi Struggled to Accept the Death of Bandmate Rick Parfitt | Lorraine

In the younger days of the band he was called MIKE Rossi because Francis was seen as a bit “Gay”.
Last interview i seen with him he didn't seem to care much about rick as i remember ??? Have to find the interview look back at it
He’s got a book to sell

Why does Lorraine keep asking questions, then butting in answering the question herself, awful interview.
