Worked on my 05 mustang the second time i tried it. PREP IS KEY!! Make sure your glass and the vinyl are super clean and dry and hit them both with alcohol first.
Great video. I am trying to fix my Toyota Solara and it's not the glue on mine it's the stitching. The fabric is still glued to the window but there are two rows of stitching that held it together. All the stitches have broken through the fabric. I may try to glue it anyway.
HI jonathan, Yes it should work just fine. Make sure that your surfaces are clean with no oily residue. Take your time, have fun and save yourself a bunch of money!
Rhino did ok for the bottom but couldn't handle the stress on the top side. I then used E6000 clear and its way better,. thicker, weatherproof, makes a nice seal. It just takes longer to set. Rhino is more like superglue not very durable for this application
I purchased the Rhino Glue and tried to re glue a little section on my 05 mustang convertible to test this out but after like a day it started to flake right back off. I am attempting to re-glue using Rhino thinking maybe I just didn't use enough as it isn't holding for me. Any suggestion on what I might be doing wrong? Did they change the formula or something I'm wondering to the rhino glue?
I tried glue, as well as double stick tape that claimed to hold under specific pressure. I couldn’t get it to hold. I didn’t find a good fix for me. I ended up replacing my roof myself. Now I never glued whole window in all at once. If you have just a small piece that is coming off the window that glue might be the answer for it not to fully separate. .
I laughed at this too. His accent is making excess sound like access. Unless he really means access in which case I have no idea wth that's supposed to mean....
