- On tonight's episode of Fireside With Fathers, Fr. Jeff Langan joins us to discuss the current war situation with Russia and the Ukraine. Are we all being lead into another Fear Mongering technique? Is this situation really as hyped up as the media has been portraying? If we are on the brink of a third World War, we already know from Our Lady of Fatima that these are times of an increase of prayer and penance.

Mary is the new Eve; the first Eve was taken in by the serpent, but our Blessed Mother the new Eve does the opposite, she will destroy the serpent to save all of us, her Spiritual children, just as written in Revelation.

I like this show and the questions you ask, but sometimes feel like they don’t get answered or they go into severely long backgrounds which make it hard to follow. I try to watch but I guess it just gets too deep for me. Can you dumb down answers some for a simpleton such as me😞

Thank you father, for giving us another perspective in seeing the situation in Ukraine and Russia. Especially for the part that all nations should have the right to speak and give opinions in how the world should be formed and their role in the world stage to build a better future. And I think it is important, that we directed our gaze on our Lord and focus on living our OWN life according to His will, and ask our lady to intercede and look after us. In prayer and in life. Like mentioned in the Gospel of John, the metaphor on the golden snake on the pole, when the people of Israel was bitten by the poisonous snake in the wilderness, Mose lifted the golden snake and the ones looked at the golden snake survived. We are to look to Jesus and we shall survive and enter into heave eventually, if we look too much on the poisonous snake...we definite will become bitter, it's good to know but definitely not to focus too much on it. and I believe both poor and rich shall have the chance to meet with His grace and to live to love and not to scheme. My prayer is that may the whole world, either elite or poor, will come to the submission to Our Lady and Jesus Christ and bring good the the world with whatever God entrust in them.

If I might comment - you made reference to a satanic mastermind and I think this is a key concept.
But who or where is the satanic mastermind?
When we try to understand from the perspective of modern political science, it seems that we are faced with so many nuances that the end result is often confusion and a turn off by the average person whose life is already complicated enough. It engenders either fear or apathy neither of which are gifts of the Holy Ghost.
My suggestion is to turn back to the Bible and study how Gods Heart has interacted with sinful man. Today’s times are no different and when pressed on the end times Our Lord referenced the past as a future template. He pointed to the times of Noah as the first point of reference.
This tells us that past, present and future are connected and that is where our perspective must be positioned. Otherwise, we might be deceived in thinking that the modern world is different or that our Magnificent All Knowing Father changes his Nature and Heart to suit the times. And that is utterly nonsensical.
God appoints everyone whether kings (political leaders) prophets or priests. The separation of Church and State has no biblical precedent and God has always raised prophets to tell truth to power. Power has always reacted the same way by vilification and ultimately death. Did not Jesus prove that the world opposes Him and He is Truth.
Therefore we see that these times are a war like wars before between good and evil, God and Satan. Which is which?
Now all we have to do is look and see what altar people and organisations are standing on and we will see what they support.
The deceptive nuances fall away and clarity comes.
God is absolutely good and has promised that He will do nothing on Earth without first warning the prophets (Amos 3:7)
So my advice is to get distance from all the nuanced arguments by getting in the Presence of Truth and from there get in the full armour and fight we all the weapons that we were given for such a time as this. We must repent, especially of pride in man’s ‘knowledge’ and give all to Him who is loving and faithful to His Word.
All glory and Honour to God and to Our Precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ.
