    Thank you Joe. These are great. I see in your lesson there is an Open G, Open C and Open E scale. Is there an open B or D scale? Or would you just move one of the aforementioned scales to that spot. If you just move them, how do you know which scale to move? Maybe I'm just over thinking this and need to just experiment with all of them. Thank you.

      Hi Russ. The C blues scale is the moveable one. When I'm talking about "open" positions, those use open strings, and are not really moveable. You could move the shapes, but the technique would be different because the open strings would no longer be open. When I talk about "closed" positions, those are moveable, because they don't invlolve open strings. In this lesson, G and E are "open" positions, and C is "closed" and intended to be moved around. I hope that clears things up!

    How do you do a closed G Blues?
