- I am showing a paper towel method of germinating the lychee seeds in a very simple process ,first of all place the seeds in water for 6 hours then place them on the paper towel and spray water on to it and place it inside a plastic bag and check after 5 days you will see lychee seeds are sprouting very fast

My lychee seeds sprouted in just 3 days. I followed your steps and keep it inside a plastic container. I put tissue paper at the bottom and filled with water just a few centimeters just to keep the tissue paper very soggy. I also made a little cut at the opposite end of the seed and it sprouted faster than those i left untouched.

Thanks! 😀I tried and it worked👌 - about 10 out of 12 sprouted ! Planted 5-6, of which 4 have grown into lovely tender reddish saplings! Have sown the rest of them. Now awaiting - no, actually can't wait for them to show-up🤗
Can you please share as to whether these lychee plants can be grown in large pots or bags?
I tried this method and it worked for me. 1 from the 3 sprouted. I had store bought lychee btw, so I don't know what they've been through. But this method definitely works :) Thank you!

store bought lychees with one big seed they usually kill it somehow so we cant grow our own, i found a seed randomly so i am guessing its a natural one and it sprouted in 10 days or more

I put lychee seeds in a glass of water & then I forgot them, after 3 weeks, they had grown already inside that glass. I was glad beyond belief.

I put them in playing soil in a styrofoam cup with holes and watered it like a 1 cup each day and got big roots

Hi it’s me again, I’m not sure what I did wrong? It’s been about 5 days. I put it in foil thought because I watched another video saying to put it in there, I put it back again but in a plastic bag again should I just wait for another week and check on it again ?
The seeds would have sprouted in week in paper towel method you can wait 5 more days

I've bought some lychee fruits from my local supermarket and I've eaten some of them and have the fresh seeds now ... I just got a container an filled it with water and put them so u say 6 hours soaking is good enough and then after the hours has passed I should take them out and begin the paper towel process

so if I don't have any of those special dirt or soil .... can I just plant it in my regular outside dirt soil in a lil cup as the starting process .... and after the 6 hours in water then I transfer them into the paper towel process let them stay in the wet paper towel and plastic bag for 7 days before I open it 🤔

I planted 1 seed in the soil three days ago, but this morning I noticed tiny white worms. I am aware of lychee mites but I am not sure if it is normal to see a dozen of them merrily crawling around the soil. So, I drowned my pot plant in water and removed as many of the worms as I could. Have you experienced something like this and is it normal? 🙊

Can I know when it's good time to plant lychee? What's the good condition for lychee to grow? also, i can't see the ending of the sentence on the last screen "Cover with plastic and place under ...". seeds can be plant anytime there is no time schedule, they just don't like cold temperature , that is to place under the light
U can also just leave them in the water. It might take a little longer to germinate, but i like watching their little sprouts slowly emerge.

If you plant litchi from seeds it will take several years to grow so it's always better to plant grafted ones , that bears within 3 years👍

you can transplant the seed in normal pot when it reaches height then transfer to big pot or ground

No after placing the water put that in a dark place such as cupboard then check it after 5 days it should be sprouted no need to spray water everyday it is only one time process no repeating needed

I keep my seeds in tissue paper and them on a plastic container and then i fill it to few centimetres of water and keep it in freeze , is there any problem for this please reply me quick.
You don't have to fill water just wet the tissue and place it in warm and dark place

One video said to keep seeds in water for 3 days and your video says 6 hours. Both videos then follow the paper towel method. Why are there two different times demonstrated and which one is more successful?

Keep the lychee plants indoors from October to March. Rest of the time they can be outdoors.

It needs rich growing medium mixture of soil fertilizer and cocopeat
We have a lychee tree at home. Just normal soil is fine and it grows well in tropical climate.

Please try to clean the seeds with soap and clean it before putting in the paper towel and place the seeds separately so the affected seed don't create problem for other seeds

I want to ask a think when I open the kitchen towel after 7 days in seeds the the stems came out from the seed But in my the stemps did'int came out so if sow the seeds if they not have stemps and I sow the seeds is there any problem or not.

Sometimes it happen that it get more or less water and dries out, it needs exact water and sunlight according to guides available on Google
