    • WolfFireheart
      WolfFireheart 2 роки тому +2

People, don't confuse ADD with ADHD.
The H in ADHA Stands for "Hyper"
ADD is ADHA without the hyper part.
So while they share a lot in common, they are different.
I have ADD, not ADHA, I am not restless or full of energy ever.
If I am talking to someone, and someone els is talking close by, I can't filter out the background people, and have trouble focusing in on the people talking to me.

Watching your reactions is cathartic for me - in two ways, specifically. Firstly, I grew up listening to rock and metal. My dad was in a garage band when I was a kid. This is my element. Secondly, it's like experiencing the genre for the first time all over again, albeit vicariously. It's also refreshing to see someone that does some research before their experience, and actually pulls up the lyrics. Keep it up, man - your videos are fun to watch.

    • Ryan Matthews
Ryan Matthews 3 роки тому +1

@Nondescript No doubt. For Rock and Metal enthusiasts, it means a lot to see folks like Alex here, who might have been negatively biased in the past (or just uninterested for whatever reason) come around to the other side and actually enjoy it. It's also refreshing to see any kind of content created where the creator is an open-minded person and willing to dive into genres that are foreign to them. This is how I came to like various styles of EDM. I used to be all Rock and Metal - Techno and other electronic music was for nerds and weebs - but, all it took was one track on a Paul Oakenfold CD to change my mind and come to know the intricacies and the skill that's required to produce some of that stuff.

    • Nondescript
      Nondescript 3 роки тому +1

I've been on a binge of reaction videos for the last few days, almost all of them about System of a Down (my favorite band for the last 15 years) and a few other rock/metal groups. I feel almost a guilty pleasure out of these, telling myself to just put the songs on directly, but not actually doing so. I think I'm reliving the sense of discovery that I had in my youth. When I see someone react to System with this energy, I feel the same excitement for the song that I don't get to have when I'm just listening to the albums in my headphones every so often. I'm surprised, but glad, that reaction channels like this one exist.

I love this song! I first heard it on the radio and at first I was like, "Who the fuck is this? It's fucking beautiful!" Then, I heard the headbanging part, and I was like, "Oh, yep, I know this band!" I love how Serj and the primary guitar work is so smooth and mellow, and then he gets faster to the headbanging shit! The first song I heard from SOAD was "Aerials" and it was love at first hearing; you guys are incredible!

It represents the A.D.D. brain and what it's like in our own thoughts, moments of calm deep introspection followed by wild thoughts that dont connect. People with ADD as opposed to ADHD we are not outwardly hyper but our brains are going hundreds of miles per hour in multiple directions and ideas

This band is highly highly underrated. Their concepts are so intelligent, and Serj is an opera trained singer! If you happen to like cannabis, Shavo , the bassist, has his own brand 22Red. It’s super fire. 22 is an important number to him, it’s also an angel number. If anything, interesting to read about!! Thanks for the video!! 🙏🏻🌟🤍🐺

You've covered most of my favorite bands already! I have to say that I loved your recent *Pink Floyd* reaction.
If you're ever gonna dip back into them, please react to *"Time"*
I honestly didn't realize how many emotions a song can bring out of you until I had heard it. Not even kidding.
Thanks for providing us with top-notch entertainment, It brings out memories of me hearing these songs for the first time!
On that note, please consider my suggestion 🤘
    .
PS After watching: I was kinda surprised after I heard that you thought SOAD sounded like Queen XD
But the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Queen have always experimented with their sound,
they packed their songs with unusual parts and merged many different genres of music, just like SOAD does.
Although the sound itself doesn't really remind me of them that much, the idea behind the music and experimentation is quite similar in Queen and SOAD.

Lost in Hollywood is a really great song that is highly underrated which they call out some of the shit that happens there way before all this stuff here in recent years surfaced. I know other bands have done this too, I just can't name any songs on top of my head.

that's a statement that has my mind boggled.
Technically Unique would imply more than rare
Numerically it means Less than rare
Emotionally, define rare ? like where do you draw that line anyways

These guys grabbed their Armenian heritage and ran with it within the framework of rock music, and we benefited from it as the audience. I'm not really a fan of them, but man, whoever says they weren't doing their own thing and kicking ass at it is either deaf or in denial.

If you wanna get really out of the box, you could check out Maximum the Hormone. They're often described as the Japanese System of a Down.

If you want something exotic and refreshing from france i just recommend you "fff Barbès" it's an old rock/funk french killer band. The song talking about a famous multi-ethnic neighborhood of Paris (Barbès) it's just can make you jump everywhere. Just to say ... Amazing funky voice, bass, drums and a freaking big fat badass bottlenecked guitar.. it's up to you to enjoy it !
