I just took my 9th shot of .25 Wegovy and have lost 13.2lbs so far. My Weight Loss Specialist doctor said she wants me to stay on the lowest dose as long as I am continuing to lose 0.5-2 lbs per week because she feels most people move up in doses too quickly and she really wants me to focus on learning and maintaining the healthy habits I am incorporating while I am on the medication during the process. I totally agree and am completely happy with my progress.
You go Nicki! I love the low dose approach. Keep eliminating processed foods, and I find eating 2 or 3 meals per day, NO snacks, while difficult at first, does wonders for the gut biome!!!
I take Ozempic not truly for weight loss but it does help with that and I’m not mad. They have had a shortage with Ozempic too it was a whole mess. I’ve been using Ozempic for over 6 months and I have lost 44 pounds.
Ozempic and Wegovy are actually the same medication. So many doctors were prescribing Ozempic to non diabetics, and they were being denied the medication, so they came out with the Wegovy specifically for weight loss. I'm excited to see the decrease on the scale, but the constipation is the worst🤦🏽♀️
@@shawntellfinley yes I’m aware I’m diabetic. The Ozempic hasn’t caused constipation but diarrhea it’s gotten much better tho. Hope it all works out for you
You earned a new subscriber today. I’m a Disabled U.S.Marine Corps Combat Veteran. I just took my first dose of Weygove today. I was an endurance athlete until I had surgery on my L5S1 which point I lost the ability to walk. I was weighing 200lbs at the time and Marine it till the birth of our 3rd son, where I had increased to 220-230. Then I had a resurgence of PTSD by way of a mental breakdown and was forced to accept mental health meds to treat PTSD symptoms. Within 2 months Weight jumped to 270+. And no matter what I did I couldn’t shed the weight. I’ve trained and competed in bodybuilding competitions, where with strict eating and intense lifting I easily lost 30lbs, but no longer did any of the techniques or Education work. I’ve been in TRT topical replacement therapy for almost 2 years now with no seen beneficial results. Identified hypothyroidism resulting in surgery to remove one of the 4 parathyroid’s in thyroidectomy. Having passed the year and a half mark I was again forced to accept nothing I was doing would reduce my weight. So as a husband and father of 5 I had a decision to make: either take wegovy or possibly accept health would more than likely get worse… As 42 years young I chose wegovy with The Goal of weight reduction to at least 200lbs. This is important to me because each of my parents and older siblings have suffered from: diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure etc. Though my labs always comeback positive Praise ABBA, I do not want to neglect my part in maintaining real health until death and never accepting/being reduced to Living long just because of all the pharmaceutical medications one may be prescribed! This will work or I will have to take harsher calorie restriction measures. I pray for everyone who is dealing with this and wish You the best!!! SemperFi
I'm not surprised with your weight loss. Two years ago, I went strict Keto and intermittent fasting (16/8). In six weeks I lost 20 lbs. I'm now down a total of 55. But today I get to make the call to the weight loss specialist as per my endo so that I get on Wegovy. I think that I can easily lose another 60 lbs. I work like a steam locomotive (postal worker). I'm super strong.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I just found you right after my first dose. I was so scared. I had it for 2 days before I worked up the nerve to take it. I needed to hear your story. I needed to hear that you are doing well. I know that I could have a different outcome, but your videos are comforting me and educating me. I truly appreciate you! Thank you so much. ❤
Thanks for the update. I have been on ozempic for 6 weeks now and just got my period for the first time in over a year. I do have PCOS and it’s been a struggle, especially not been able to conceive. This year I turn 40 And I’m all about getting my body healthy. And if it’s in Gods will for me to conceive in my 40’s I’ll gladly take it. It’s been a 20 year struggle with PCOS and Doctors only trying to recommend birth control as a remedy. Stressed to say the least.
My daughter was my miracle baby. I'll be 40 this year too and if God says so, we may both be 40 and pregnant! lol! Although, that's not really in my plans, I will take whatever God gives me. Sending out a prayer tonight for you to have your own miracle!
I have PCOS also. I took Metformin to conceive. My doctor says Wegovy has lost of benefits for PCOS symptoms: regulation, much like Metformin, it effects the adrenal glands that in turn alter normal menstrual cycles, hormone imbalance, and insulin resistance which causes weight gain. God bless you on your journey.
I have PCOS and I agree it's a true struggle for weight loss, to have a mensus and to conceive. I had my 1st child at 42. I can't pen point what help me to conceive after trying for so many years but I know the number one help was God, along with that having the right mate, excercising and doing cleanses. I think the Detox Green Smoothie Cleanse really helped my body to clear out the old stuff so it can soak in all the good stuff I began to eat. Not saying I was a strict health food nut but I believe it was the combination of it all. Hang in there, the lord know the desires of your heart and it will happen. 😊
I have had PCOS for several years and am past child bearing but have been taking mounjaro for 3 months and have noticed a lot of changes in issues I have had with facial hair. I've had electrolysis, permanent hair removal with how they burn it off and was even unable to have it waxed usually bc it was so much for them to do so I ended up with shaving for years and had to almost daily to keep it not showing. I have gone down to maybe once a week and all my tests have been major improvements. I've even been able to stop my BP meds. CVS has been a strange nightmare since covid on every medication. I am now using a smaller grocery store and they are great about letting me know what is going on
I KNOW it's been AT LEAST 4 years since I have seen you and you DO NOT AGE! You look the same way you did when I started watching you 8...9 years ago. AMAZING!! Loving your hair also. Great to see you again.
👋 Hey sis! I stumbled upon your channel! As a registered dietitian and holistic nutritionist, I couldn't help but notice some of the symptoms you mentioned that may be indicative of PCOS. Unexplainable weight gain, inconsistent periods, ovarian cysts, and excessive body hair are all common signs of this condition. 💁 PCOS is not curable - so once you are diagnosed you have it for life…BUT the good news is the symptoms can be reduced and possibly even eliminated which proper nutrition, exercise, and managing your stress (everything you’re mentioning you’re doing!). It's amazing that you're taking your health into your own hands and making positive changes. Remember, our bodies and minds are interconnected, and what we eat, how we move, and how we manage stress can all have an impact on our hormones, which in turn affects our overall well-being and appearance. 🍉 By the way, if you're dealing with constipation, incorporating fiber into your diet can help promote regular bowel movements. SOLUBLE fiber, which is found in foods like oats, beans, and fruits, can help add bulk to your stool and soften it to help you poo.💩 👩⚕ Lastly,I just want to remind everyone that when it comes to healthy weight loss, it's important to take a gradual approach. Losing between 0.5-2 pounds per week is a great range to aim for, as it's a sustainable pace that can help you maintain your weight loss in the long run.📈 Keep up the amazing work and continue to prioritize your health and well-being 👍. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, Tatiana!
Your weight is pretty rapid so it’s great that that dosage is right on point! My physician would have been alarmed at 13 lbs.! 1-2 lbs per week is the recommendation. 😳I lost 4.5 lbs my 1st month. This is comfortable for me. After adjusting to the digestive discomfort I was ready to move up to the next dosage (.5).
For fiber, I recommend Pure for Men (there’s a Pure for Her, but it’s the same thing with a different name). The Stay Ready by Pure for Men/Her product is to clear your colon for anal sex, but I take it regularly for all purposes. It’s a combination of chia, flaxseed, and aloe. If constituted, Stay Ready works! P.S., while a male, I found your feedback very informative.
P.S., is there a connection between bile acid malabsorption (which I have) and obesity/overweightness? I feel many of my cravings are due to the speed with which I empty my colon, due to BAM.
Ditto with the weight loss of up to two lbs a week. A lot of people want to lose ten or more and if they don't lose that much, they get frustrated with the medicine.
1st I’ve been following you since you were a “staving makeup artist” and I’m so proud of all of your accomplishments! I started ozempic last Monday for pre diabetes and weight loss. Thanks for the tips!
I was on a 0.25mg dose for a while and I lost most of my weight on that dose! You can do a shot on Sunday and Thursday to keep it in your system! I’m down 41 pounds in 8 months now I’m doing maintenance dosing every other week.
Girl, thank you! I'm following your progress and am right behind you. My GP Dr. prescribed it for me and I'm waiting on the PA (pre-authorization) process for it to be covered on insurance. Can't wait! I literally worked out 4-5 days a week(CrossFit) for a year and tracked every calorie I ate and my calories on my Fitbit- was under every day and Did.Not.Lose.Weight! My gyn didn't believe or help me and I felt ashamed....but finally my GP listened. I hope I can start soon! 🙏🤞Thank you again for the tips and encouragement! You have beautiful soul 💖
Did you do a body composition analysis? because you could easily have lost lbs of fat, but gained lbs of muscle - therefore the 'scale' wouldn't change. Just a thought x
I'll start my 1st injection this week. A friend is currently taking Monjaro and she advised me to get my 2nd dosage package 2 weeks in advance because of the shortage. I'm excited and so glad I got in on the ground floor because once ppl really find out there will be none.
Oh my gosh. Thank you for this video. I just started my semiglutide compound this week. I also have been dealing with fibroids, super heavy periods. My gynecologist said there is no way I am pre-menopausal (I'm 45), but will not check my hormones to verify anything and said I just need to lose weight. I am planning to wait a month after semiglutide, so I can know it's side effects. Then go to a hormone specialist. I definitely feel something is going on hormonally with my body: weight gain, anemia, fibroids.
I luv the way you break things down. This is the first time I've heard of headaches as a possible side effect. Thank you for coming back to us in these you tube streets. 😍
@lyndajackson5197 Thank you! I started last year April. I was down about 7lbs the first month but every body is different. It's slow at first but when you get to 1.7mg LOL you will not like food🤣
@lyndasjackson OMG! I had a flashback!! LOL Try the Metamucil fiber thins-- they're over-priced but I was desperate. Drink LOTS of water... the constipation will pass
I am waiting for my doctor on this. I know there is a PA on my insurance for this so I pray I can get it. Thank you for all the information. Congratulations on your weight loss!!
Try magnesium for the constipation. Take it at night and you will go as soon as you wake up. Also helps with sleep and electrolytes. I just took my first dose of Wegovy on Thursday and I'm 3 lbs down already. Thanks for your videos!
Very much so… Most American adults are magnesium deficient. My mom takes a tablespoon nightly before bed to help with her incontinence issues (she was a elementary school teacher for over 30 years and couldn’t leave to the bathroom as often as necessary and it caught up to her). She had to cut caffeine completely because that was another thing that contributed to her incontinence issues. She said the milk of magnesia helps greatly.
@@Jettypilelegs I tried a few but magnesium citrate is my favorite at night. There’s a brand called “calm” and it comes in powder. As much as I prefer to just take a pill, the “Calm” powder just seems to work best for me and the hubs.
I have been taking a compound semaglutide for 6 weeks now and although there are a lot of opinions about compound version. I have had NO issues and it works the same. Plus, I dont have to worry about not being about to move up to the next dose. I take 0.5 now. I LOVE IT.
I'm on my first week with the compound also. I okay taking it because we're not taking from thw diabetes patients or whatever. I have my first weight in tomorrow. So far no side effects but I find no satisfaction from sweets. How much have you lost so far in the 6 weeks of u don't mind me asking.
@@SwezCanal THe compounded version is a actually a cleaner source of this medication!!! I work in a Regenerative Health Clinic and we prescribe all kinds of peptides including this one and have for many years and there are zero issues. It can be less expensive this way as well bc its not owned and branded by the drug companies
You are so beautiful. Thank you for this video. I'm taking my 5th shot tonight. And just like you, I am still taking the .25. And like you, it's been working for me and I was nervous to start taking the .50. I weigh myself every morning. Last week I only lost 1 pound, but I've been building muscle also. I've lost 13 lbs my first month on Wegovy. WE'VE GOT THIS!!!😍
You give some very good tips. I lost 10 pounds in the first month but I incorporated a low carb diet (which I was doing prior to starting Wegovy) but I wasn’t loosing. So I 100% believe hormones play apart. I would recommend the Wegovy my blood pressure has been well controlled since I lost the weight. Thank you ❤
Thanks so much for your videos. I am trying to learn all i can before I start. On apple cider vinegar: make sure you drink it through a straw. It damages tooth enamel. I was doing the same for few weeks (minus electrolytes) and soon had to start using toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
You are so relatable and encouraging at the same time. Thanks for sharing. I'm new to Wegovy (only one shot last week), but I started with 1.0 after waiting over 4 months for the lower levels to find out the manufacturer is not currently making the amounts lower than 1.0. I sure hope I can tolerate the additional shots much better than I did the 1st shot. Let's just say constipation was NOT an issue for me. 😂
I had the same issue with shortages. So my doctor recommended that I stay on the same dosage but get there higher disagree when it was available. I have not increased since I went up the first time and I was fine. I've been on the next stage for several months. I stayed on .25 for about 3 months. I lost 2 and 3lbs in the beginning and I was still happy. At this point I'm down 44 lbs and I've definitely plateaued but I'm still losing inches. So I'll probably finally go up to the next dose if I don't break the plateau. My appointment is on the 27th so we shall see.
Love the video! Just started my first week of Wegovy and have lost 4.5 lbs. The constipation is real! LOL I started taking a probiotic and putting Citricel (sp) in my morning coffee to help with it. I used to do ACV but it can do a number on your teeth. It's very acidic so careful with it because you have a beautiful smile!! Keep up the great work and I will continue watching your videos!
There's so many things i want to tell u, but to make it short, i just want to say thanks for taking your time to do this video to explain alot of things like with the health i finally found someone that is going through what im literally going through 😢 by the way my doc just prescribed me WEGOVY to me today. God bless you ty again 🥰
I was prescribed Wegovy in the beginning and ended up having to go the compound route due to it not being available. I had no issues at all with the compound RX. I did that for that for the first 2 months and then was switched to Monjouro (sp). Took that for a while until it was out of stock and constantly on back order too. I was off everything for about a month. THEN Wegovy was back in rotation and my Dr started me back on the lowest dosage of that. What a rollercoaster. No major issues with side effects and I'm so thankful that my currect Dr sees me every 4 weeks and calls in my RX a month ahead of time. my previous Dr saw me every 6 weeks and the week I saw her was the same week I needed my next dosage. That was always a mess. The crazy thing now is that now that Monjouro came back in stock for the last dosage I was taking, the pharmacy filled my ole RX that had I had been waiting on for months and have since switched to Wegovy. This is no joke. I wish everyone a happy journey and praying for lifelong great outcomes for us all.
I've got several Ozempic pens and tried it several times already. I tried .25 for several weeks. Gave up. Tried .5 for 2 weeks, also gave up. Tried .25 again last week and felt like crap. YES, my appetite is much lower but my mood is worse, I have way less energy to exercise, and mostly importantly I cannot go to the bathroom properly on this medication. I cannot stay "regular". Also my sex drive seems to have dropped (I'm a guy obv see my name lol). The fact that I lost weight using this medication showed to me that simply EATING less and controlling my food urges is the best way to go. Too many side effects using the medication imo!
It is awesome to hear the good news of your weight loss. I will continue to pray for each and every one that is on the medication. My friend is in her 3rd week, has not had any problem, she is losing weight.♥️♥️
hi, i really enjoy your videos. ive been struggling with my weight for years. i have major hormonal issues and physical issues. i need double knee replacements and my doctor is giving me wegovy because every surgeon has told me they wont do the surgery because of my size, even though i dont have diabeties or any heart issues . my blood work is normal across the board excect for hypothroidism. im on synthroid from my endocriologist. thank you for making feel better about myself that i need to take this shot in order to help myself with my other health concerns, you have given me inspiration and hope. im turning 60 this week and i really want to be able to function normally in my life. keep up the great work !!
Thank you for sharing your story! I have been observing that a lot of women have PCOS. The good news is that now that you know what you have, you have more information on how to manage it.
You are breathtakingly beautiful 😩😩😩. Like sis I hear what you’re saying, but you’re so pretty and I’ve always always found gap teeth as a beauty staple.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I pick up my RX in the morning after waiting a month for the supply to come in. I’ll be checking in with you during my journey.
Overall we need to start realizing that insulin resistance is the precursor to diabetes HOWEVER, IT IS usually the primary issue that is stopping people from loosing weight because in the S.A.D (Standard. American. Diet) we eat too much sugar and carbohydrates and we at some point become insulin resistant and obese. And if we don't address that issue we will NOT loose weight and sometimes even with diet and exercise it isn't enough because insulin resistance means your body is NOT using food for energy any longer and that is why it then becomes a need for medication to help with weight loss. 💯💫💖😉
The drama is real! I have been on Manjuro since October 2022 and I have nearly lost 100 pounds! I have been on 10 mg now starting my 3rd month on that dose because I can’t find the higher dose! I enjoyed video! You look awesome!
Your story it almost 100% parallel to mine. I’m stating Wegovy tomorrow in order to get prepped for gastric bypass surgery soon. Listening to your story has let me know I’m making the right decision.
Thank you, for sharing this video Beautiful! I have PCOS and for years I had delayed periods, heavy bleeding, severe pelvic and low back pain, anemic, low vitamin d, low energy and clots. I went to the doctor for years getting ignored and them discounting my condition like it was all in my head.. I prayed over it and the Good Lord sent me doctors who cared. In the past 3.5 years I had become prediabetic because of the weight. Thankfully it reversed and my periods are on track. Some months I even have two I've had a dual procedure which consisted of VSG/Right ovary removal along with a fist size dermoid that latched on to the ovary, along with both tubes because they also contained cyst. I then had to get a uterine embolization because I had a fibroid. Thankfully it's gone. I have chronic back pain because during a MRI a kidney cyst and herniated bulging was discovered. In June I plan on getting the cyst removed and I know I'll feel better and have more energy!3 weeks ago I had a hiatal hernia repair which also helps reset the VSG pouch which also makes you eat less. I'm now 3.5 years out weight loss surgery so I'm praying to God to show me which way to go regarding Wegovy as a maintenance. I don't have any kids and was told I would have to go to the infertility clinic if I wanted one Blessings and Best regards to you in all your endeavors! 🙏
Thank you so much for this update! I was thinking ALL of the same things you have mentioned. Going back and forth with whether or not I want to increase dosages, because i don't want to have a lapse with the prior auth and availability, and intense side effects! .25 is working fine for me and I'm having a steady weight loss and no major side effects.
What do you eat? I just started week 4 (Saturday), lost 7lbs so far in the first 3wks, eating "keto" when I do have an appetite. I guess I felt like it would be more loss since I'm not eating much but no. 😑 The constipation is the worst for me.... I went from several times a day to nothing and I feel like a bloated blow fish! So happy for your journey!
I’m so happy I found your page 😊. I just took my first shot today and I really hope it works. I’ve struggled for soooooooo long with my weight and I hope between this and the gym I’ll start to see a change. Thank you for sharing your journey 😊
My Dr just prescribed me Wegovy yesterday. Hoping the prior authorization goes through today so I can pick it up from CVS. I’m so excited and optimistic. Just stocked up on bottled water and hard boiled a dozen eggs. I love what you said about hormones and weight issues. It’s so true and a lot of people do not realize it. Also stress and depression causes us to hold weight. It’s really annoying eating salad and hard boiled eggs and brussel sprouts and cabbage everyday and looking like you eat cheeseburgers and pork rinds. If only people understood how many of us eat just like them if not BETTER and HEALTHIER yet because of how our body operates (Hormones/Stress) we just hold on to weight. Can’t wait to get my RX and see my progress.
Not sure how you popped up on my feed but I decided to watch and find out what WEGovy is lol and I have never heard of it but did hear of some people being on a shot that is helping them lose weight! This was a great video - you have a great way of getting to the point and sharing your journey! I will be 47 this year and decided I will be getting Blood test every six months to check liver and kidneys just to stay on top of things .. I did the hormone battery of test because I felt like my hair was shedding too much so you are RIGHT about the hormones playing a part in the MOOD and Depression!! I SWEAR once you get in the gym and start lifting or finding a trainer or class that you enjoy - it HELPS SOOO MUCH! I don’t go for weight loss but just to stay active and blow off steam and be fit.. I am cheering for you and anyone else reading this on this Journey!! ❤ I applaud everyone for taking steps to become healthier and happier!!
I don’t know if your med does like mine, but my ozempic is adjustable so I can use .25 or 1 if I want .As for the pcos I have that too and it’s crazy what I went through too.For constipation powdered magnesium is amazing it will help u go and help u sleep ,chia seeds ,prune juice ,hot water with lemon .I’m glad u found your diagnosis and wish u the best but let me tell when u start resistant training and weights your weight will really fall off cause it’s fat burning
So glad that you posted this and i will definitely go and look for your videos... im on Mounjaro and i didnt lose much in past month but my dose was increased and my sideeffects are very overwhelming at the moment! Thanks for giving me the motivation for carrying on and not giving up as you said loosing something is better than nothing.
Today saw my family doctor and she mentioned wegovy, I’m 60 years old and last year had a tia, so far I’m doing good but only thing still elevated is my A1C , tested again today depending on results I might be able to start wegovy. I just don’t lose weight a year now, only 10 lbs but going up again. I need to lose about 45 lbs. Thank you for all your tips about it. First time learning about this shot. Thank you
Much relief after going through this stuff. Stress no doubt affects my blood sugar levels ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx6Cu3qDh3FB7umUbfXaU7hDAHrqvwQyNk Taking a walk usually help bring them down. Eating sweets is not my favorite, but if i take a large portion of them, my blood sugar level rises high. I think it's the high concentration of the glucose flowing into the bloodstream all at once. This is a lesson worth taking note of. This is a great material to learn from.
I'm on Mounjaro and I order my prescription every 3 weeks to ensure not running out. Also, you can change pharmacies if needed, but you have to do the leg work to find out which pharmacy has supply.
New to your channel and so glad I found you. I'm on week 1 and doing great. My question to you is will you continue on .25 or will you go up .5 when you get it? My doctor did same thing with script so I should inquire about going up .5 for week 5 but unsure if I should stay at .25, its been 5 days and I'm down 5 pounds. Also, doing 16-8 for intermittent fasting, lifting weights and walking. Thank you for your weekly updates, I look forward to them. The doctor that you mentioned on Tik Tok, yes she is amazing. She made me feel real good and not guilty. Thank you for answering all the questions on my mind.
I am considering taking wegovy which is how I found your video, but I have to say, just listening to the few things you said, I knew you had PCOS, just by your period description and knowing you are concerned about your weight. Welcome to the club, I hope you get treatment that will help. It's good to hear you can still lose on the low dose,
This is my first time on your channel so I apologize that I don’t know a THING about you but you are an AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG COMMUNICATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just have that entire package that captivates! If you’re not already a speaker of some sort, you ABSOLUTELY should be!!!!!! This was SUCH an informative video!
Thank You, for speaking on this…when I got my first injection…I awoke the next morning feeling normal. I’m 51 and have not felt myself since I stopped taking Birth Control at (age 27)
THANK YOU so very much for sharing this information 😊 I have been wondering if I could stay on the .25 dose. I went to .50 and had the known side effects and was ready to quit. Thanks to you, I'll just stay at .25 and have zero side effects ♥️♥️♥️
I went on HCG about 10 years ago and I lost 30 pounds in 30 days and I have never looked back!!! I never gained the weight back except by 3 to 4 pounds on vacation and then I lose it as soon as I go back to normal. It was the best decision I ever made and a friend of mine did it too and she never gained her weight back either. Do you..whatever works for you do it all things aren't for everybody. I'm proud of you I can't wait to see your results..hugs.
Thank you for sharing this. A friend of mine is seeing results from Wygovy and will share your video. I am so glad you showed up in my feed. Your makeup videos helped me so much :)
But peep game tho...I thought of you this morning. Just inside my head. I haven't seen your videos in a very long time (since RIGHT AFTER you had the baby). But I didn't say your name to anyone or even out loud to myself. I log into UA-cam and POOF THIS video was on my main search page. Man algorithm shmalgorithm...these phones be picking up telekenetic frequencies. Its super spooky but I am SO happy to have your videos back in my feed again. I am happy that things are working for you!
I remember your channel! You introduced me to so many products. I have been on Wegovy since April of last year. So it's been a few days shy of a year. I've lost 85 pounds since taking it, but 135 since I started this journey. Wegovy is hard to find. I actually go through my doctor affiliated hospital pharmacy because they get first dibs. Calling it in 2 weeks ahead is smart. I am on the highest dosage and have been for awhile. I will say my stomach does hurt a lot. I experience them more so now than in the beginning. I didn't have any side effects until I climbed to the highest dosage. I find that the lighter I eat, the better. Protein every single morning. I also have a toddler. Go girl!
I've been on Wegovy 3 months now and I too have really bad stomach cramps and constipated. BTW I haven't lost much weight actually I lost 13lbs. and gained more back.
I’m on the same journey as you here, wegovy week threee and everything. And every video I watch, you say the things on my mind. Especially about PCOS and being seen. I got a new doctor and she is the one that prescribed wegovy, and she was the first doctor to validate me and make me feel like it wasn’t my fault. No more “lay off the juice and sodas and snacking” (that I don’t do because of the guilt instilled in me as a teenager about my size).
OMG… THANK YOU for this!!! 🙌🏾 I have been going through some of the EXACT same things you have discussed here, mostly a result from my hormones! I was just to the point to have a hysterectomy, due to the painful cycles! I have been researching Wegovy myself, but hadn’t yet put the correlation to my hormones, so THANK YOU! I actually just made an appt with my Dr to see if she’ll prescribe, but it’s my primary so hoping I won’t need to seek out an Endocrinologist. Continued success to you, it does already show in your beautiful face!! ♥️
Girl, I knew you have PCOS from the first video. However, I am glad for all the things that you’ve learned during this journey, and sharing it with us.. ❤
I’m so happy for you that you’re finding help and freedom!!! I’ve fought and fought to lose this stupid fat only to GAIN on a diet. Finally found out it was my thyroid. Once I’ve started getting that fixed, I’m finally LOSING consistently weekly.
I had a similar experience when it was time to grab my .5 dosage but my Dr. approved me to bump up to 1.0 (.25 was moving slow for me) still minimal side effects (just a hint of quick nausea) glad to see you are still going..
I’m down 31 lbs in 3 months on Wegovy …starting Saturday 1.7 dosage….In month one I started with a compound of semaglutide/b-12 than I realized my insurance covered Wegovy. Every 15 days I meet with my doc and she calls in my next dosage 2 weeks before hand and that really helps as it can take up to a week to order
@@soulbeautiful3522 it was awesome because they compounded it with B12 and I didn’t get the fatigue. I ended up having to order the b12 injections separate because the fatigue was REAL on day 3-5 I lost majority of my weight in the beginning. Once I started Wegovy I’m at about a 2-3 lbs average a week….note:semaglutide I combined with keto 15lbs in the first 3weeks
Whew, Chile, that title scared me.😂 I almost didn't watch it because I thought you were about to say something was wrong, lol!!! I'm in my last week of .25. I've lost about 7 to 8 pounds. I'm a therapist, so I've got to give up my cocktails, lol!!! My clients stress me out. I am working out and weight lifting. I've lost 21 pounds total because I started out on Saxenda. It's not nearly as strong. Thanks for the video, and I wish your sister the best. Oh, by the way, Mag07 will give you the best movement ever!!!
Hey “BeatFace” longtime subbie. I also attended a makeup class in Miami with you and Renny yearsss ago. I’m also a nurse my only comment is that you’re doctor is not in great communication with you. He isn’t working for free, it’s very unprofessional I would suggest another physician if possible who puts his patients 1st. Love you. May God bless your health journey.
I've got another month to wait for my Endocrine appointment so I'm trying to do my research like you did. I did start weight training; I got a Tonal system so I didn't have to figure it all out or actually go to a gym. Thanks for your willingness to be so open about your journey. I'd love for you to talk more about what you eat in a day.
Wonderful job explaining how this works. I just had a hysterectomy and lost 11 pounds in 3 days. I was post menopausal prior to the surgery ( due to going into menopause early after my endo ablation) but I’ve had up and down weight issues for decades now. I am now 2 weeks post op and am still at that 11 pound weight loss. I think I lost that much from fibroids and all that endometrial I was carrying around. I’m anxious to try this as I’m considered morbidly obese but will have to wait if it indeed causes constipation. I don’t want to stain any and cause my internal stitches to bust. I hope I get clearance and a script to try it here in the next few weeks. Meanwhile I will continue to watch you on your journey. ❤
Thank you for making these videos! I am hoping my doctor will approve me for this medication. I have an autoimmune disease along with a lot of other health problems. Every medication I've been prescribed for my health problems has caused me to gain weight and be unable to lose it. I need something to help me get my weight back down to normal so I can hopefully feel less pain and be more active again. It would be life changing for me!
Great advice! Thank u!
You go Nicki! I love the low dose approach. Keep eliminating processed foods, and I find eating 2 or 3 meals per day, NO snacks, while difficult at first, does wonders for the gut biome!!!
Hi, please watch Watchman on the Wall 88 on UA-cam
My doc is doing the same.
Nicki are you having any of those symptoms that they are now talking about on the news?
Your hair is EVERYTHING in this video!
And her eye color are gorgeous too.
Agree, I'm totally distracted by the hair and the eyes. Thank you for making the videos.
You are so gorgeous!!

Hope it all works out for you
My hubby lost 30 lbs❤ with that as well
@@shshomijohnson864 Yes! My 3 month supply was $25 after using the discount card with my insurance.
Wow
SemperFi
Same problem on mental health meds and gained weight, did you lose anything?
I lost 16lbs in two weeks doing wagovy and also clean eating. I'm sure these results aren't typical for everyone but this has been my experience
@@monica93304 Hi Monica Brown, I'm Monica Brown too😊

I’m down 16 and 1/2 pounds in 3 weeks! They said I’m well above average, but can’t expect to lose that much every week…
What u eat whole day?
Thank you for sharing your journey. I just found you right after my first dose. I was so scared. I had it for 2 days before I worked up the nerve to take it.
I needed to hear your story. I needed to hear that you are doing well. I know that I could have a different outcome, but your videos are comforting me and educating me. I truly appreciate you! Thank you so much.

Thanks for the update. I have been on ozempic for 6 weeks now and just got my period for the first time in over a year. I do have PCOS and it’s been a struggle, especially not been able to conceive. This year I turn 40
And I’m all about getting my body healthy.
Fasting put a lot of PCOS people in remission
SOLUBLE fiber, which is found in foods like oats, beans, and fruits, can help add bulk to your stool and soften it to help you poo.💩
👩⚕ Lastly,I just want to remind everyone that when it comes to healthy weight loss, it's important to take a gradual approach.
Pcos actually is curable but I’m medical school they teach that it’s not. But with proper lifestyle changes u actually can reverse it
1st I’ve been following you since you were a “staving makeup artist” and I’m so proud of all of your accomplishments!
You took a shot twice in the same week…

I weigh myself the morning of my injection... it gives me something to look forward to every week. I'm down 50lbs

How long have you been on it to lose the weight?

What type of magnesium?

Congratulations on your weight loss and yes, your pharmacist is the GOAT!
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous!!
I know thats not the point of this video but I had to say it
Right!

Thank you for being so transparent I will definitely talking to my physician about this medication 💙🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Literally why I'm here before my first injection. 😬

It's good to hear you can still lose on the low dose,
Your hair is stunning!!! ❤
Try hot water with fresh ginger that great for digestion
This is my first time on your channel so I apologize that I don’t know a THING about you but you are an AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG COMMUNICATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just have that entire package that captivates! If you’re not already a speaker of some sort, you ABSOLUTELY should be!!!!!! This was SUCH an informative video!
Thank You, for speaking on this…when I got my first injection…I awoke the next morning feeling normal.
I’m 51 and have not felt myself since I stopped taking Birth Control at
(age 27)
You are so real. Love it. You truly break it down clearly. Thank you so much..🌷
THANK YOU so very much for sharing this information 😊 I have been wondering if I could stay on the .25 dose. I went to .50 and had the known side effects and was ready to quit. Thanks to you, I'll just stay at .25 and have zero side effects ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you. I’m taking my first injection tonight, and your videos made me feel better about this choice. ❤️
I took my first dosage today also! Congrats and keep us posted!
How did it go? I just order my first dose, waiting for it to arrive..😊
@@hrtz4soph it went okay for a while, but then the pharmacies ran out of my dosage.
What is HCG ?
I'm so proud of you!!!! I am a black woman with PCOS and I'm thinking of moving from ob-gyn to endocrinologist
Congratulations on your weight loss and by the way, your hair and eyes are gorgeous 🥰🥰 you are so beautiful sis 👑
I could not even focus on what she was saying because i spent the whole video looking at her hair 😊 very beautiful color and pattern.
Her hair is beautiful
Thank you for sharing this. A friend of mine is seeing results from Wygovy and will share your video. I am so glad you showed up in my feed. Your makeup videos helped me so much :)
I’m just here to say hey 💕 been following you since the very beginning and I’m happy to see you still healthy and thriving !!
Ur hair & makeup is on point!!!!!!!!
Just bought the scale. Thank you for the recommendation getting to start 1st dose wegovy tomorrow
For the constipation, warm water enemas using distilled water once a week or once every two weeks should help.
What has been your experience with it? Was it also an Endocrinologist who put you on it??
seamoss is great for BM and constipation plus its full of vitamins and minerals.
Me too! For some reason
Thank you for the tips on staying ahead of your prescription!! I really enjoyed your video. Congratulations on your success!!!
Took my fifth shot, the 5mg. So sick Couldn’t go to work.
But in first 4 weeks ive lost 30lbs. From 365 to 335. Amazing. Side effects are killing me.
How did you like semaglutide? I start my first dose tomorrow
Thank you for sharing your journey. I'm just beginning my shots.
You are so great with all this information you share with us. Thank you! I’m taking lots of notes from your videos 🙏
I’m happy you’re finding out what it is (PCOS). So u can move forward with proper information!
I just gave myself my first dose, thanks so much for the encouragement!
I pick up my prescription tomorrow. Can’t wait to get started.
So glad u posted this. My meds will be here this week. Pls keep sharing.
Loving the updates! I’m trying to get on wegovy and your updates help a ton!
