Everyone is complaining about how this stage is hard, I think it’s pretty straightforward. I’m just pissed off about the goddamn chaos emerald stages. Those are the death of me.
@@emilie8356 I got mine on hydrocity Act 1 on the second ring that's when I got all the Chaos Emeralds this levels the Hella me for the especially that part with all those Barrel things that go up and down cuz they got myself squished in there three times and I'm playing as Sonic and Tails
I love how the zone’s background is It means that the brain of the titanic monarch is not just screws and metal It means like a metallic church the one that represents the heavies emeralds and of course the phantom ruby
I didn't even know Eggman took damage. What I thought I was supposed to survive egg man's attacks and take out the mini-bosses since the spinning blade thing seems to take damage
My biggest problem with Sonic Mania is if you fail act 2 you have to do act 1 all over again which is absolutely unfair and complete utter bullshit. This would be like if in Zelda: Breath Of The Wild if you die 3 times in the divine beast you have to complete the other divine beast all over again. Don’t get me wrong I fucking love Sonic Mania it’s one of the best Sonic games I just wish they didn’t make you do act 1 all over again after failing act 2.

It's hard to beat the Phantom Egg without Super Sonic or the thunder shield I was close to beat this as Sonic and Tails with all emeralds but I died and lost so many lives that I had to restart the entire game! I have now beated Mania mode and I'm playong encore mode

Trueeeee, I think they just haven't played much of the classic sonic games (Sonic 1,2, CD, 3K) and probably think that this is completely unfair, the only unfair parts in this level are those damn spikes that crush you.
this is one of the darker sides of sonic mania this music is like "defeat the robo and get the phantom ruby" this feels like this song should be in sonic forces which is the darkest sonic games sega ever made. . . GO AWAY SONIC CD

Odd he goes from having one life to eleven when entering the boss battle.
he plays the level in time attack mode and then goes to the boss in mania mode. That is why he has only 1 life throughout the level but 11 in the boss

Well the music is very great, almost perfect. To make the music perfect, the music could've been the Lost Labyrinth Zone Act 2 music, it fits perfect!
Be careful because this stage can softlock you if you die and fall into a teleporter
