Can't tell you what a joy going out on a friday night with it about 75 degrees outside and hammering it passing a guard rail and listening to that thing just breathing. It's almost like those cars come alive. A fox is something different. It's a special car that I think lots of people are starting to take more serious. If someone told me I could have any car I wanted, but I can never own a fox again. I'd tell them no thanks.
Lucky you Frank! Off topic but shows what an amazing era of cars we live in a stock 18+ 5.0 runs just as fast as a 347fox bone stock and would clean the fox’s clock from a roll.

I grew up in love with muscle cars which is why I appreciate modern “muscle cars” the way I do. Smokey and the bandit was my first “fast car” footage and my older sister’s bf’s 1985 trans am was the first “fast car” I ever rode in. Probably a low 15 sec car lol in 1990. Today’s cars in a different realm and that’s ok. Per reference that 1985 ta I rode in was the equivalent to a 15-20k car nowadays. Times have changed and these modern cars are savages compared to what I grew up riding in. Kudos to the car game before electric motor cars kill our passion.
Improved shifting would get him in the 11's easy. I ran a 12.014@115 w/1.61 60' in a notch with a 302, B cam, untouched TW heads, portmatched GT40s, 4.10s, 3550 and drag suspension.
If he is running 12.0’s consistently if he has drag radials & can launch it at a higher RPM & power shifts the rest of the way he should break the 11’s.
I’ve ridden in a Shelby cobra kit car with a custom built 347 stroker from Nirth Carolina. That thing had a fiberglass body and weighed 1900lbs, so you can imagine how it would rip

@@destruxandexploze2552 dude it was a kit car, had a 347 stroker he had built in NC put in You can literally put whatever you want in there as long as everything pairs up, so you can’t say “it wasn’t fully built” if it’s a kit car
What mufflers? my 347 is way too loud and I cannot stay into it without thinking about the bracelets...The stainless ones they like to put on me.....I am not a young man any more. Done with the drama, just want to burn tires and sling it sideways a few times a day lol. I have single chamber 3" Jones flow packs sound unreal, but too loud for the ripping. keeps me under 4000 rpm
The sound of a 347 screaming at high rpm through flowmasters is the most addicting sound ever.

1900 lbs doesn’t sound right. Cobra kit cars come with a fiberglass body and they weight 2200lbs. 1900lbs doesn’t sound right at all.
