    I love tomato soup. That soup looks awesome. That needs a good grilled cheese sandwich to go with it.

    Chef Tom, you've accomplished what I thought was not possible......made what can be considered an entire meal without any meat (it almost hurts to say those words). Well done.

    Good work as always chef Tom... One suggestion/question why not add some roasted garlic to this soup?

    straight from grill to ziplock is ill advised. you risk burning plastic into your fucking food haha. just put it in a bowl and put saran wrap over it.

    My new go-to comfort soup! I hope our technology gets to the point that you can digitally send the smells over the net.. But I digress, the old ways are the best ways. A pot of soup shared with friends on a cold, dreary day.... Absolute Magic.. Thanks Chef T... Mikal

    This is the first video I've seen where I was left scratching my head, wondering what the added value of putting the veggies directly in the coals. Would think it would be a bigger pain to rinse them off and can get the same char on the grill grates.

    • @jeffth205
      @jeffth205 6 років тому

      Sean Kehoe
      I think just like cooking a steak directly on the coals, Chef is just demonstrating another technique.
      Me personally, I use the grate also.

    You should never taste for salt on a piping hot soup. Take some out & put to the side to cool slightly first otherwise you can easily over-salt. Just sayin....
