I don't know how this channel doesn't have millions of views on every video. That soup looked fantastic!
I don't understand how this channel doesn't have millions of subscribers and you have guga foods that just dry age beef and cook it and that's it this channel has one of the best recipes of everything
Grilled cheese and tomato soup is a classic combination but I never thought about making the sammich into croutons. Fabulous idea.
This ages really well in the 'fridge. Made the recipe this weekend (stayed right on point with the recipe, too) and it's improved 48 hours later.
This is great insight, thanks for sharing that with us.
If you’ve got a Mexican/Latin/international market nearby, Culantro is a substitute for cilantro without the dish soap effect that plagues some. We use it in cuban cooking all the time.
The ultimate comfort food,a must try for me...I bet the flavors are insane
That looks AWSOME, pulling at my stomach strings with the Mexican flavors being a south Texas boy that is right up my ally. Thank you Chef Tom
Oh you know, always looking to jazz up any and everything with some peppers :). Seriously, we never steer very far from Latin inspired flavors, if we do, we always come right back. Thanks for watching!
Love this idea!! Thanks chef Tom!
Wow, that final product looks amazing!
Oh yes! A great comfort food combination!
ANOTHER OUTSTANDING ONE, TOM !
Another great take on a classic. I love the way you can transform something that is usually simple and sometimes mundane into a work of food art.
Really love your whole teams vibe. The video work and lighting is so nice and really like your style. Subscribed man!
Chef Tom, that's next level right there!
that looks and sounds amazing
I have to make this. Grilled Cheese and tomato soup was a staple from my childhood and since. This takes it to a whole new level. Because of you we are looking at smokers. Trying to figure out just what we want. Bravo!
Just made this for dinner and It doesn’t disappoint. My wife said it was the best tomato soup she ever had.
I just love roasted veggies! Chef Tom is My BBQ hero. Greetings from Copenhagen Denmark 🤌
Can’t wait to try this
Looks amazing
So much info on YT but I can Always count on Chef Tom to come through with something original.
Amazing!! I know what I'm making for dinner
That sounds and looks AMAZING!❤️
You are spot on. The taste test crew members are still smiling! Thanks for watching.
Anything with chipotles ❤
Good Lord I love your recipes Tom!!! Thank you sir, you rock!!
Thanks Brandt, much appreciated. Stay tuned, lots of good recipes on the way.
Hey ATBBQ! I love this video. How about Cincinnati chili this year? Thanks for your content.
Hey Chef Tom, how about another comfort dish we do from time to time, beans and wieners. I’m sure you can jazz it up.
Not even a fan of tomato soup but I really wanna try this one
Thanks for this recipe! You created a 'grown up' version of the classic tomato soup and grill cheese sandwich that I had for lunch as a kid. I made this yesterday and I think it is great. Being in the UK it is hard to obtain anything 'BBQ' like rub blends etc. There are very few available and they are hard to get so I used basic ground cumin and coriander to make my version. I have a few hundred dried ancho and guajillo peppers, so I used 1 of each along with some mexican chipotle sauce which I found on Amazon. In the UK we can get the best Spanish Chorizo just about anywhere including my local convenience store. The best thing about this soup is that you can stop before the sour cream and leave out the chorizo and serve it to a vegetarian. This means that I can make a batch for a family lunch and give a vegan version to my wife's sister instead of cooking a whole meal just for her. Keep up the good work!
Very well said! This is indeed a "grown up" version of this classic for us as well. Your spice choices are spot on, appreciate your insights as well. Lots of flexibility with this recipe. We appreciate the insights and thanks for watching!
I needed a good soup in my life. Thx Chef!
Chef! So good.
Thanks so much!
Salute chef! I like your style..
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching.
Chef Tom. I think chile chipotle Morita is a much better pepper than chile chipotle meco.
Chile Morita is what you'll find in the canned Chipotle chiles. It's sweeter and fruitier than the ultra dry chile meco.
Love your content, looking forward to many more videos.
Just made it today. Man it was great. Thanks. I used Munster and pepper jack for cheeses.
That sounds excellent. Thanks for watching!
Somewhere there’s an outtake video of Chef Tom dropping a pepper into a can of soup and calling it a day.
Chef Tom talked himself into using the immersion blender instead of the Vitamix mid show 😂
Starving 😳🔥🤘🏽💯
Seriously, he has that effect on our team as well. What's cooking today? Nothing. Just a letting recipe development. That makes for a bad day.
Great as always Chef!!! 👌 9.8!!! You inspire me weekly! Who woulda thought of grilled cz croutons, mex tomatoe soup, and use of sour cream 💯👌💪👏
Only minute criticism... blended it more and not so thick. 🤷♂️... maybe add some extra sharp chedda 🤣 to that beautiful grilled cz crouton for some bite. But that's just prolly my palate.
We always appreciate some quality input. Thanks for being a part of the community!
Not a fan of Tomato soup but may have to try this one.
Good recipie...
Thanks so much! We thoroughly enjoyed this one, hope you will make it for yourself. Thanks for watching!
@@allthingsbbq Oh as many long time cooks on Boats and such , collecting I deas and making them your own is a great pleasure and the Idea is better meals...thanks
Gotta tell me why cooking this on a pellet smoker is better than on your stove in the kitchen. Definitely want to try this recipe though.
You can absolutely cook this recipe on your stove top. We cook outdoors. It’s what we do! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Sir I use my weed burner to do vegetables works well love your site
Weed burner ... we like it! Thanks for watching!
Looks delicious! Have you tried the Bianco di Napoli tomatoes?
They are delicious. Used to carry them in the store. Tough to beat the Ciao’s… not fighting words 😂
@@allthingsbbq fair enough, maybe I should try Ciao’s! I just love the sweet flavor of BdN’s tomatoes!
I love how thick that is, and the "croutons" too. Also, would it help to pre-soak the chipotles? And, also assuming that this soup would be even better after an overnight refrigeration? Or have you ever had a batch last that long? =)
Agreed, my tomato basil is usually even better the day after.
Replace cilantro with Italian parsley.
No way he didn’t put the mexican sausage in the grilled cheese 😢❤
@AllThingsBbq Will u please make MATTY MATHESONS Sticky Toffee Pudding. His video on it alone is worth 1 million laughs bro! Please!
Why take the skin off the pablabo if you blend it in, anyway?
Only thing this is missing is bay leaves , cooked it to exact recipe then added the bay leaves after everything was done b.c I just thought it was missing that b.c it is a red sauce
Glad to hear that you made this one + bay leaves. Note taken. Thanks for watching!
Were it not for the Chorizo this would be a great meal for Fridays during Lent...which is coming up soon btw.
Maybe a vegan chorizo?
Video looks a bit dark, maybe just me
thats a telera not a bollio
