Well done my 1.4tdi felt tight but after lubing has worked well for 2 years, had to get the rear seats out today to collect the biggest stereogram I have had (for the garage/coffee shop) the seats were a pig to get out it took over an hour but done now...
Good videos, I am watching with eagle eyes. I have just taken delivery of the cat section, down pipe to back box, so interested how you get on with the back box
Great vid. I've just serviced my TDI A2 for the 1st time with draining the sump underneath rather than sucking out as the panel under the engine was a bit knackered. Anyway in the snow it got all messed up so bought a replacement and fitted it when I serviced it. It was as I suspected really hard to fit and get aligned right. One of the fixing holes up above the front wheel was really enlarged so I had to use a much larger bolt! My gear stick has become a little stiff or hard to go into 3rd and 4th sometimes. Do you think the removal and greasing you did would help at all? Cheers. Vids are very helpful. J
@@garageofdadI had that piece completely removed and the tower still isn't bouncing up nice and freely. I'm thinking I may have to remove the tower and fit a new bearing.
Great content, should do the diesel filter and your video was very helpful!
Thanks 👍

My rear seats are stuck in too - That's another job to do!! 😄
Welcome back to A2 ownership!! Have really missed your vids in your absence.
That's great thanks. Just filming the lacquer peel and paint correction, turning out to be some job! 😄
Well done! Your Videos helped a lot! Thank you.
Great thanks
Great progress. Well done 👍
Thanks 👍
Love the video. Where did you get the back box as I can’t find them anywhere. One from eBay didn’t fit!
I bought the one on eBay and made it fit. What a job, It was 2" out 😖

You done the right thing buying the complete system as you'll see on upcoming video, the back box was 2" out! 😮

Thanks for the video!
If the gear selector tower doesn't pop up even without the cable (shaft that goes through nylon bush) what could be the cause?
It's sticking on the nylon bush. I had to remove mine and sand it down a little with some emery paper then refit with some nylon lubricant

@@Kyle900t That may be the case :(
