Very useful video. I have just changed both the air filter and oil filter (along with the oil). I found I had to take off the cover of the exhaust manifold along with the black plastic breather pipe and cable holder that bolts onto the rocker cover. I have to say it was a bit of a pig to do compared to my wife's Austin Mini and Nissan Figaro and even my Humber too! But a very helpful set of videos. Now I have to find a rocker cover gasket and an oil dipstick for the A2 1.4 petrol engine.
Thank you. Yes the oil filter location is really crazy. I would like to talk to the engine developer that put the location of the oil filter there, since this is a servicable item on every service :(.
I was informed by my mechanic that the underbody protection under the engine was missing on my 1.4 AUA. Then i found out that the Code 1SA means no additional underbody protection. I saw you A2 doesnt have one either? So is this normal? You have the code 1SA in your service manual?
Just did oil and filter change according to your instructions!
THANK YOU FRIEND!
Glad it helped
great job thank you for the instructions👍👍🇵🇱
Glad it was helpful!

@@MtlCarGarage Very useful as I am looking at a 2003 1.4 BBY and this helps me to understand how complicated the car is.
@@Andrew-vx2ls They are still relatively simple to work on. But they do have a lot of age related problems ;)...
Vielen Dank
Where did you read that the AUA oil capacity is 3.0L? I've seen it listed as 3.4L and even 3.5L
