I’ve been playing for ten years but it has been hard to keep up with newer updates so these even still help a mc “veteran”
I like how most people decide to be productive when they start a new world while I just grab a bit of food go off to some weird corner of my world.

Usually when I start a survival world I get a lot of tools and stuff on the first day, make sure I have a full set of iron armor, food, a small wooden hut, and farms. Once that is done, I would place a trapdoor in my base and dig down to Y-11 to start my strip mine. However, this method works great as well. Good job Mr. Underrated, can wait to see you grow!

the 'best' food source is suspicious stew made with dandelion. giving you saturation effect for 0.35 seconds, it fills about 15/20 points of both saturation and hunger, about 30 in total, being much more than entire cake, not to mention golden carrots. still, it's quite impractical, because it doesn't stack

When I go mining so I am doing stairs to Y11 layer and then strip mining or when i find cave so i maybe explore that cave.

id suggest using the river to make a temporary wheat farm and then using the wheat to lure the animals into a pit or fence where you can just keep breeding them. its better to use the animals you get at spawn rather than having to travel a bunch trying to find some animals.

I CAN JUST SAY 1 WORD *UNDERRATED*
I find that the best way to start a Minecraft world is to get an iron sword, shield, and if possible iron armor by night and then search through the night for a village. Once in the village, you can set up a mine and there is lots of food and shelter. It is also useful later in the game because you are able to trade with villagers to get mending and other enchants and even diamond armor.

That was really cool i love this trick i use it in my world to test it out in my surival world i all ready got a full netherite amor and elytra but more diamond yes please
Also make a shovel when mining because you can mine gravel and dirt(and sand) easily

Dog straight down by your workbench till you hit stone, jump up and click your crafting table to make a stone pickaxe, continue getting 13 stone for axe sword and furnace. Fastest way to stone tools imo.

I think you should get 4-8 logs and not only 3 so
1: you don’t leave a floating tree since that’s disgusting
2: you will probably run out of wood like in 5 minutes if you take 3
So yeah 4-8

For the mining trick, it can go a bit wrong. With like 1.18-1.19 there are WAY huger caves, filled with giant pools of lava and tons of mobs, so honestly it's a bigger risk. Besides that, amazing!
Hi there! If you're lucky enough to find a village within your first couple of days in minecraft you can also use fletchers to get emeralds for half a stack of sticks and then farm diamond armor easily

ro11en it'll be more efficient to just turn coals into coal blocks because you're able to smelt even more items :)
