One thing you didn't mention is that netherrite provides fire protection on its own a full set of netherrite armor with prot 4 makes you almost immune to lava

I usually use all prot 4 w/ a fire prot 4 chestplate. Guess I should switch to another prot with this info in mind. Thanks!
OK so just checking to make sure I'm getting this right, so based of the info off the video, and your info, I can have a set of prot 4 netherite armour with only the leggings having say blast prot. I'll still have a high prot value, good fire prot and blast prot on top of that?
@@Ar_Tank yes I was once hunting magma cream in a bassalt for fire resist potions with full unenchanted netherite armor and fell in a small lava gap so I had to mine myself and guess what I survived with mor then half of my hp while being in the lava for quite a while
Uhhm, I think the fact that you survive longer in lava while having netherite set is just determined by the fact that netherite has more armor points than other armour, not because of added fire res
I disagree that enchanting iron is a waste in the early game. Using the few early game diamonds for a enchanting table can boost one's entire gear set. Yes they will be low levels and require XP and lapus, but that really helps across the board.
I agree. You have to start somewhere. Not to mention what it takes to obtain the netherite to gain that kind of armor in the first place. You have to have some kind of decent armor to go looting for ancient debris in the nether. enchanted iron armor is not a terrible option so you can find more diamonds to upgrade your armor.
Depends how fast you play the game, if your a slower player then yeah enchant it, but if your a fast player who runs through all the ‘progression’ quickly its not really worth it
Plus, you won't run out of things to do as quickly

If you’re REALLY REALLY dedicated, you can do some version switching shenanigans to get all four protections on the same armor pieces.
1.14 allows you to get god armour, which you can then just save to a creative hotbar and use in any world

the blast prot on leggings is not only for elytra, but it works better since the exple damage is calculated from ur feet

If ur on a server and crystal pvp is allowed always put blast prot 4 on your legging so u can take two crystal instead of 1

These are great tips! I think I’ll be swapping my 4x Prot with 3x Prot and 1x Explosive resist. I think explosive resist is the only one worth using aside from that, and I’d argue that it’s a better use of opportunity cost to dampen a surprise creeper (especially a charged one) than a couple of skeletons and zombies
Respect to your opinion, I prefer full regular prot. I think the balance overall really helps a lot.
Agreed, the most dangerous damage source in the game is by far explosive damage, even in PVP
@@emirwattabor6991 the difference in damage between all other sources is negligible, you’ll see the most noticeable difference when a creeper blows up on you unexpectedly

I asked this on your older vid, which is bettee chest or leggings, in the video you said Leggings because you mainly use Elytra and don't always have ykur chest plate equipped, i thought chest plates take most of the damage so you would want to put the different protections on there to be more effective and have better coverage, I'm confused and need help
Edit: i decided that leggings would be better for the special enchantments because I'm getting better at flying with the Elytra and can spend time getting 3 Swift sneak books, that and i learned most damage in Minecraft is calculated around the legs (unless my source is lying or i read an outdated version)
Btw one thing he didn't mention about thorns, is that if you hit someone, right after they got hit by your thorns enchant, they do not take damage from your hit, only the thorns damage applies, which can really give advantage to the player fighting you. (From an enchanting table, you can only get thorns on chestplate, you have to apply thorns to the other pieces of armor)

For the nether, just bring Fire Resist Potions while wearing full protection 4 armor. You'll get the best of both worlds by spending a minute or so with a brewing stand. Being immune is better than taking tiny damage
In 1.14 there’s glitch:
You can enchant armor on all protections and then get to 1.20
Specifically for the camo trim advantage, you may want to use unenchanted armor.
Reason being is because there is a setting that allows you to increase and decrease the enchantment glint in the menu.
If a player is aware of this stealth and ambush technique they can just turn up enchantment glint and see the shiny blue in the trees or elsewhere.
From what Ive read it also seems that the enchantment table will almost compete with your anvil to give you better enchants, meaning if you use a book to put protection 4 on a piece of armor then your enchantment table will be more likely to give you protection 4 on future enchants, not 100% sure this is true and there is also a chance that even if it was once true then it's simply become outdated

Btw you can use Fire Protection on Boots Blast Protection on Leggings and Protection on Helmet and Chestplate.
Fire protection is actually a very bad enchantment bc protection itself protects against it too and other stuff fire protection will save u just 2 more seconds in lava so uh.. would rather go full protection IV

@@tiongdoraemon5771it really is a bad enchantment because you can get fire resistance potions from bartering, brewing, and even witches if its drinking one, and fire resistance deletes fire damage rather than giving you a mild damage reduction. And its mutually exclusive with normal protection
I personally like to max my diamond armor before upgrading to netherite, but I do use villagers. Thats because its way easier to get multiple of each armor piece for diamond (especially using villagers) so that I can combine them.
You take the most damage from explosions in your legs. This is why you see people in crystal pvp trying to get below the crystal while the enemy is above the crystal. Using this logic I would assume that putting blast protection on your leggings would give you the most protection against explosions. Although it could generalize it so that it doesn't matter which one you put it it on, but if you are going to use blast protection I would recommend putting it on your leggings. (I could look this up but I am too lazy right now to do that so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
It doesn't matter what piece you put it on as far as resistance goes.
However, leggings are still the best, because of the fact that you might often use elytra instead of a chest piece and both helmets and boots tend to be expensive to make an alternative piece for.
yea you dont take more blast damage in the legs you just take more if you are higher than the explosion source. You can survive a creeper from two blocks away with no armor by being down one block. You can also be one shot by a creeper in full netherite by jumping just as he explodes.
Netherite is EXTREMELY usefull in crystal as netherite takes less damage from big damage sources.

I don't understand enchants really, my biggest concern is other players so I just aim for Prot4 Unbreaking3 and mending on all four in netherite

On the realm which I play on with my friends I have full Netherite armour, everything with unbreaking 3, prot 4, thorns and mending plus whats shows below shown below:
Helmet - Ward armour trim gold
respiration 3
aqua affinity
Leggings - Swift sneak 3
Eye Armour Trim gold
Boots - eye armour trim gold
feather falling 4
depth strider 3
then shield with custom banner and OP sword

Prot 4 on all armour pieces is pretty universally known to be best even without the detailed demonstration. You can maybe argue for blast prot 4 on one of your armour pieces if you spesifically know that your opponent will use end crystals and such. In most most cases fire prot 4 is useless. If you have the ability to max your netherite gear, and yet are not making potions you are doing something wrong. One fire res potions lasts for 8 mins, making you completely immune. It's much more effective and easier to have this in your arsenal than fire prot 4.

One thing that I can almost guarantee you guys don’t know is that you can get all 4 of the protection enchantments on 1 piece of armor by going onto 1.14.1

Quick thing: netherites durability doesnt decrease while in lava or on fire, so you can save some levels there aswell

Oh I always do these enchantments wrong. Now that I know which are the best for me I can easily be the best player thank u for the, uh...tips, I should say.
Fishing farm makes my life in minecraft much easier, I get much many bows with full enchantments, the best book enchantments like Protection, Unbreaking, Mending, Fortune and I think it's the best way to get the best armor set, I already have full set diamond in early game I just trade armorer villagers into max level to get the diamond armor and use anvil with the books I get in the fishing farm
So pretty much, I need the green armor trim for all pieces of armor, protection IV for one piece of armor, fire protection IV for another, blast protection IV for another, and then for the last one, projectile protection IV. If so, which protection for which piece of armor?
All of this apply to bedrock?

You can combine every protection enchant in 1.14 creating god armor unfortunately you cant use it in servers
Also why did you didnt explained how protection enchants work I mean with full prot 4 you have 64 protection to everything and every level of protection adds 4% protection 4% x 4 armor pieces x 4 levels equals 64 and other protections protect you from 8% per level but maximum is 80% damage reduction
Or simpler, downgrade to 1.14 and combine all protection enchantments type into the armor
I have played on a SMP for a long time and I have 5 different sets one with all blast prot one with all fire and another one with projectile and one with protection 4 on all then another one with 1 of each(All are netherite and fully maxed) I mostly were the prot 4 all.

You can get all protection on one piece of armor by changing versions
but comparing that helmets and boots break faster either way isnt really good as it it has less durability

Biggest mistake is enchanting Netherite instead of enchanting and combining diamond gear and then upgrading to Netherite
Netherite armor actually has significantly better loottables when it comes to enchantments, like gold!. On average get luckier enchants with netherite!

blud just use the 1.14 super armor by starting your world in 1.14 and upgrade your world uprade to netherite and YES i do understand how specialty protection works

pretty surprised u didnt talk abt the best way to apply enchants with an anvil, and that normally people would rather not have knockback for pvp, and also u didnt talk on which of the exclusive enchants to get (mainly mending vs infinity for bows, and piercing vs multishot, but there are more too). i feel like those are very important to mention.
still a good video, i do wish u didnt do that whole intro thing tho, it just came across as condescending, like obviously the best armor is netherite (although you brought up a good point with diamond not having kb resistance its not rly that big of a deal and the other benefits are far more important, also gold for piglins, leather boots for powdered snow, and turtle helmets for water, are all special uses, not really for special armor, i felt like that was a bit out of place), and you just apply all the enchantments. (though again i feel like you missed out the most important parts of enchantments [combining and the eclusives], the protections are fairly minor, most of the time all protection is best since general damage is your main concern).

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come across as condescending, I for one did not know any of these facts before making this video! Knockback resistance makes a HUGE difference in a fight, that's why some higher level pvpers prefer to stay in diamond armor instead of netherite. In singleplayer though, netherite is definitely better.

ive never seen any pvps choose to remain in diamond armor, since netherite does still reduce extra damage due to toughness (which is a really complicated mechanic but it still does reduce damage) and higher durability for longer fights which it ends up being.
i guess if your against someone who you know is better than it might be good to get out of combos, but otherwise diamond has the drawback of also letting you get knocked out from giving someone a combo, not to mention a lot of the times you can just get out of a combo normally unless there is a huge skill gap.
