@@DarkCloudCompendium I mean I’m perfectly happy with how the mechanics work in both games, but I wouldn’t mind something new to the series like picking your gender, customizing your character (like hair and skin), and maybe even a friendship/party member based mechanics, like, the more you use them in battle, the more abilities they unlock, and even products they can sell to you! Like the recruitment mechanic in DC2! Idk, I’m just spitballin here ;P
@@DarkCloudCompendium I love this series so much I love both games dark cloud and dark cloud 2 but I enjoy dark cloud 2 more than the first game but I still love both of them there's even a few things I didn't know I could do in the first game like you can keep your attachments on without having to permanently put them into your weapons after a buildup
@@noahdean9685 I still miss the Drans Feather 🥲 Dark Cloud 2 is such a gem that just wouldn't exist today, Dark Cloud 2 is fantastic I feel like it throws everything and the kitchen sink to see what would stick from the invention system, spheeda, finny frenzy monster medals and so much more! These days games are unfinished experiences where they try to nickle and dime the customer with DC 2 you felt like you were going on a grand adventure of a lifetime. I'll always love the Dark Cloud series, the first one is always my go to but that's like comparing The Beatles Abbey Road to Let It Be, both are amazing records no matter how you slice it 💯✌🏼🥳

I think we all know exactly how it is, there's something special with both of these games that was just never replicated since. I often go back to Dark Cloud whenever things get hectic both games have this really cozy vibe!✌🏼🌟 Sidenote your pecs looks sick, I need to focus on upper body more I've been prioritizing cardio the past few months for increased stamina 🚴♂️
@DarkCloudCompendium Yes, I still have hope that they will revisit these game again. And thank you!! I do a lot of push-ups. I focus a lot on them. They really were the foundation to grow my pecs ,no doubt 😁

Hahaha right!!!🤣🤣 I think it paints the whole dynamic between our playable heroes and the monsters we fight on this adventure and completely different Lights it's really hard to take just one favorite but that 1 is really special too🌟💯
@@DarkCloudCompendium when I was very young I played DC1 and never got passed the first boss, fast forward to today and I beat the whole game and am currently playing DC2. Best feeling ever! And to be able to have a channel like this around while I’m having this experience as an adult is just so fun and awesome. Really helping me through some tough times.
I wonder, has anyone tried to decompile or reverse engineer DC1/DC2? If this could be done, we could start modding in ways that would make Sony shoot us.

Sorry for taking sometime to respond to this comment, I had some trouble with my health but I'm still alive 😤🙌🏼 Unfortunately, when I initially created this translation back in 2022 it was on my old hard drive which was a HDD, due to all the strain I put in it through the video creation for this channel it blew a motor and corrupted taking the PNG PSD files for this Manga along with it. That situation was really scary and was almost the death of this channel... The only thing I have of this manga translation project is the finished video itself, terribly sorry. I'm old school but since then I've learned the wonders of Google Online storage to prevent an issue like this occurring again 🙏🏼

I like that Max doesn't even care that he was in prison for 30 years for tax evasion he's just happy that he was able to invent something!
