- I went back to try the GPZ7000 over the spot I found some good gold in my last video with the GPX6000 to see if there would be any bigger deeper gold about.. Hell of a day trip . You are killing it lately Lee. I always have a mash hammer in the toolbox in the troopy, and a chisel, but i also have somewhere a metre long star chisel. Im thinking I might put that in the drawers just in case. Good luck mate

Great find Lee, love to see it. Where I am at least, when I find a piece of conglomerate like that, it is usually loaded with fine gold. Might be worth crushing a bit of that to see.

Beautiful piece hey mate. My biggest from WA is a 14 gram slug but that was my first solo trip the biggest last trip between Neil and I was a 3.7 gram piece.

Great video dude, I'm heading out to a friends private property in NSW and im a beginner, its actually going to be my first time fossicking. I'm using my minelab equinox 800 with the 11inch standard coil, I've done some research and apparently its fine to use, what are your thoughts?
Thanks mate, they are firstly a relic machine and secondly a gold machine. Not purpose built for gold so it won't do it as good as the machines made for gold.
