- This video is two small trips merged together, the first trip we had a Catastrophic fire danger day on the second day of the trip and we were told to get out of the bush by Forestry Management and the second trip was an overnighter. It's amazing how well that rusty looking chunk cleaned up. That is a nice piece of gold mate. Here in Tennessee we use fish landing nets to catch crawfish (yabbies). The larger ones we eat and use the smaller ones for fish bait. Cheers 🍺🍺🍺
It cleaned up so nicely! It had a thin coating of ironstone all over it and looked so much like rust.. Crawfish are big deal for you guys I like watching the crab boils you guys have I could certainly get into that🤤. I'll be taking a few nets next trip that's for sure. Cheers🍻

Another very successful trip mate, the rusty bit looked bloody awesome after a clean up. It makes you wonder how many people would have passed it up as rust!🤔 Not you, though, bloody wicked! ❤it 😊

We used to catch Louisiana crawfish with hoop nets...the same as catfish hoop nets but smaller and designed for the crawfish. You should try it for the yabbies if it`s legal.

Thanks Neil, there is gold in most spots but usually 1 or 2 here and there it's hard to find a spot still full of gold in Vic. We were in the Dunolly area mate.
