This WR class is nuts. The depth of talent is nothing I’ve seen that I can remember. But that top 3 is ridiculous. MHJ is amazing, Odunze could be Mike Evans 2.0, and Nabers just excites me. And then after them I believe there’s 4-6 WR’s that if your team drafted that guy, you should be thrilled to no end.
I think this class is even better than most people are thinking there are guys projected to go outside of the top 100 that I believe will be legit year 1 starters. Malik Washington, Luke McCaffery, Taj Washington are all capable of being very good NFL players
A stacked wide receiver class! Keon Coleman of FSU's 40-yard dash time was disappointing 4.6+. I say, "no problem." Jerry Rice's 40-yard dash time was 4.7. Coleman to me is an elite wide receiver, regardless of his "slow" 40 yard time because of his size and route running ability. Football speed is NOT always linear. Just saying.

It's very well considered to be incorrect that rice was a 4.7 player. Either he didn't take it seriously when he ran or he runs faster when being chased, which is a thing. New age tech has clocked his on field speed on par with that of 4.4 and 4.5 players so that 4.7 is misleading. In that regard, so can this 4.6 that was just run. I’m a FSU fan. Benjamin was great at FSU, not so much in the pro’s. And Jonny Wilson wasn’t half the player. Major drops this season. If not for Coleman picking up his slack it would of been a bad year
You don’t count traits twice. Everyone already knew Worthy was really fast. Running a 4.21 while really impressive doesn’t change the overall evaluation much.
Feels like a trap pick for my chiefs. They love that kind of speed and think it could potentially blind them. I wouldn’t be upset if he ended up in KC but I don’t like him as much at pick 32, I think there are going to be better options available but we will see. I could be completely wrong but I agree with you, yeah he is fast but what about everything else? Feels like John Ross 2.0 to me. Although, I genuinely feel like all around Worthy is twice the baller that Ross was.
Nice stock exchange copy and paste lol! But thats not entirely true - we knew he was sub 4.4 fast but faster 40 of all time is a different level of speed. Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing Ricky Pearsall in a Colts uniform, playing with his former college QB Richardson, he’ll probably end up beating out Pierce eventually too..
It only matters to those teams that center themselves heavily into analytics. The combine also solidifies some things the football guys see on film and makes the analytics nerds drool at the mouth to draft the next bust.
