R.I.P to Zach man. As soon as I seen this video I looked him up because I trusted his chameleons quality and wanted to purchase a chameleon from him but, sadly came to realize he had passed away. He's a complete stranger to me but after this video, I honestly felt like I lost a friend and also someone who would gladly teach me anyone else about chameleons and their care. So my condolences got out to his family and friends and anyone close to him, even his chameleons. He seems so passionate, humble and great at what he did. Sending my love my friend.

We rescued snakes and baby alligators from drain lines n all man. I remember one time he took us on a fishing trip and my lil bro caught the freaking Florida fish yo. I def miss them trips. I am Sylvia, and I was Zak's business partner before he passed away. I kept all of Zak's chameleons as pets that we had bred before he passed. He was the most precious person and friend/business partner! I'm the only one who knows what happened, because my son and I spent 24/7 with Zak trying to help him get clean and sober from his addiction to prescription Adderall and alcohol. He was doing amazing until his ex-fiance called him one day and upset him so bad he committed suicide. This is the God honest truth. She will have to answer to God for whatever she said to him that pushed him over the edge. Zaks memory will forever live in this video Nick produced. I moved 13 of our original breeding chameleons, including Tiki and Tripp (Zak had to put Punchy to sleep when he became ill before we met Zak in May 2020) the others moved with me when I moved away after his death. I was Zak's best friend and business partner, NOT anything other than that, but he was family to my son and I and his death was devastating to us both. Zak would take calls at all hours from frightened New chameleon owners, talk with them until they felt better, take in their chameleon and nurse them back to health, then we would send their chameleon back to them healthy again. If I can say anything for all of you to know, **Stay away from ANY use of Adderall!! It has known side effects of causing suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Mixing that prescription drug with alcohol alone could have caused his death and by God's grace he had gotten off both Adderall and the alcohol and was 6 weeks clean and fighting to stay off the garbage every day. Zak was stubborn and did not want to do in patent treatment (his drug and alcohol counselor and I begged him to) and sadly he would probably still be alive today had he gotten into in patent treatment and NOT have spoken to his ex-fiance who upset him so badly he left the house and shot himself. I'm sorry I could not even come here to the video for this long to say what happened to him. His ex-fiance was posting on here trying to make money off selling candles in his memory, when she was the cause he was gone! Please love the memories you have of Zak here that Nick captured so well. This video embodies the Zak all of us who knew him loved the most. I took our website down about a year ago because I had no intention of selling any of what chameleons we had left after his death. I fulfilled orders for people who had prepaid before Zak passed and mentally needed a huge break from public after the loss of Zak. At some point when I have the energy, I'll make our website into a memorial in Zaks honor to suicide awareness and awareness of addictions. God bless all of you who have posted beautiful kind words in his memory, he sees all your kind remarks. He may not be here in physical body, but he sure is in spirit! Keep the best of his memories alive! He was one of the best humans on this planet and my son and I were blessed to call him our friend! He was family to us. I will eventually put our website back up in his honor. Zak had lost access to "PunchyTheChameleon.com" due to accidentally letting the domain lapse from not paying, so we made our new site, which was "Chameleons.Of.The.Keys.com" but as I said, I pulled it down about a bit over a year ago, but had not been trying to sell any chameleons anyhow. I was honest about his passing with anyone who reached out through the website, but could not mentally deal with his loss myself. I will post on here when I get his memorial done on our website to share his story and raise awareness. It will still be at the new website address when I do finish and post it. Thank you to all of you who shared kind words about Zak and who wanted to know what happened. Please, if you struggle with addiction, go to proper treatment and get the help you need so your loved ones don't have to grieve as my son, myself and Zak's mom, dad and siblings and true friends have. Treatment works and saves lives, as does knowing and accepting Jesus into your heart as your savior and it is better than loosing people you love!

Not Tiki; you saw him inhaling air. They do that as defense mechanism, a sort of “airbag”. If they feel threatened they will drop (usually grabbing a lower branch with their tail) but sometimes to the ground, and the “airbag” helps protect them. They’ve been documented dropping from heights of ~50’ with no major injuries
