I’ve had a bearded dragon that was just the biggest lard ever. Refused to even try to catch his live food and wait for me to hand feed them to him lol. And he liked to run up the corner of the living room and just stare at the ceiling forever.
Australian here! Currently 17 of these guys at my front door, I have them some water and a heat lamp. They are confused about my false water cobra eating mice. Keep in mind you don’t have to tackle them, they are pretty calm reptiles, and they usually like tail pats.
Mine doesn’t if i even touch his tail he freaks out. But then again mine is a rescue and the friends of the last owner used to hold him by his tail. Never kept him in a heat lamp and she fed him on a diet for snakes
I love my beardie. He chills on my shoulder on days I work from home and absolutely loves to be handled. Best reptile pet by far. He's never once hissed at me or even flared his beard up (unless I startle him) then when he realizes it's me he immediately chills out. Absolutely love these reptiles.
Growing up in my house my father was obsessed with bearded dragons. He had dozens and used to breed them! All different colors and species within them. I'm very familiar with them and they're by far one of the most beautiful and iconic reptiles! 😍😍
I'm sure he figured this out in the end, but the easiest way to catch them is to literally walk up to them and grab them 😂 If you don't give them direct eye contact then they think they're still camouflaged.

She always takes him out near the end of class and messes around with him until the teacher puts him back. But one thing she does freaked me out a bit. Basically, she set him on the desk, and he began to walk away. Then, she grabbed his tail and pulled him back strongly. I don’t know if this is okay or not, but please tell me. I don’t want him to get hurt.
Bearded dragons are naturally calm. And dont often dart. Did you know the have a " third eye" it senses a predictor on top of it . Oh and the lizards beard is better

I have a beardie, his name is Fred. Definitely not dark like that one! He’s a lot more of a light sandy yellow and brown color with bright orange and yellow accents scattered across his body especially on his face! His belly is a very cool black and white zigzag/stripe pattern. Wouldn’t trade him for the world! So glad you finally made a video for them!♥️

Hey fun fact about the bearded dragon, they actually love humans and tend to try to stay as calm as possible but if they feel threatened or riled up it will puff out its beard to tell you to stop. However they will rarely bit you. If you are looking for your first lizard I would say a bearded dragon is perfect and they grow quite quickly so aware.

He’s a lot more of a light sandy yellow and brown color with bright orange and yellow accents scattered across his body especially on his face! His belly is a very cool black and white zigzag/stripe pattern. Wouldn’t trade him for the world! So glad you finally made a video for them!♥️

Hey fun fact about the bearded dragon, they actually love humans and tend to try to stay as calm as possible but if they feel threatened or riled up it will puff out its beard to tell you to stop. However they will rarely bit you. If you are looking for your first lizard I would say a bearded dragon is perfect and they grow quite quickly so aware.
They only like humans when raised and tamed by humans.
