      Pretty much that; with added side buttons and RGB features XD Personally I don't mind the mouse without the RGB but the reason why I didn't want the G100s was no side buttons.
      This might be the perfect go-to FPS mouse for me :D

    I ordered this mouse over the deathadder elite about 2 months ago, I was a bit iffy because ive heard a lot of bad things about Logitech products but I can say I was very impressed with the performance of this mouse. It Is very comfortable regardless if it doesn't have ergonomic features, the rgb is bright and doesn't wash out. and it has that nice smooth clicky feeling. I also never accidentally click, ive had that problem with many gaming mice. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. It is also currently on sale at best buy for 50 bucks at the moment so go pick one up!

    This is an awesome review. I like how you adds comedy to it specially to almost all your videos. Thanks for the info for all the products. I'm enjoying every one of them.
    I do have a question aside from the product itself. If you do not mind, what is the name of the song at the beginning of your review?

  • @Wakaboo14

    The G502, despite its great build quality, is a mouse I hate using for games. The dpi buttons are haphazardly placed right next to the left click, the dpi shift button is a huge gimmick and is placed right under my thumb so I accidentally hit it all the time (even though I disabled the button for dpi shifting, it still feels annoying accidentally actuating the button), and it's just too heavy to be a comfortable experience.
    That said, I really love the new Logitech G Pro Gaming Mouse and the Logitech G403, both mice are pretty low weight and have better click actuation than the G502.

    Maybe you could test the G102/203 (depending on the region), it's said to have basically no drawbacks to the G Pro and a lighter middle click (I will test it myself as soon as I get mine).
    *edit*
    Can confirm now, the G102/203 mousewheel is a lot easier to click than the one on the G Pro and G403, it's very comfortable. Now I just wish that the mousewheel scrolling would be as smooth and easy as on the G403 and same goes for the side buttons which are bigger and a lot easier to press on the G403.

      John Reese how is the mercury sensor (g203) compared to the pixart 3366 (g pro)?

    • @MrReese
      @MrReese 6 років тому +1

      I don't notice any real difference; also, the DPI have been raised from max. 6000 to max. 8000 by a firmware update - not that anyone needs it, I use my mice with a dpi between 400 and 850.

    • @SrJavito923
      @SrJavito923 6 років тому

      John Reese ok thank you! I use 400-800 dpi too, 400 dpi for fps and 800 for moba. I'll buy the g203 ;)

    • @MrReese
      @MrReese 6 років тому

      Be aware, though, the G Pro and G102/G203 are VERY small mice. I didn't believe it at first and many reviewers say that smaller mice make you aim better, but I need some stability in my mouse movements and those two mice are just too small for me - and I have very average-sized hands (19cm hands in length, 9.5cm in width). For my taste, the G403 is the better mouse, but the mousewheel is just so damn hard to press, it's a tragedy.

    • @SrJavito923
      @SrJavito923 6 років тому

      John Reese Oh thank you for the advise. I was thinking about getting g pro/g203 or g403. I finally decide for g pro/g203 because I bought last week the new zowie ec2 b and it doesnt fit me at all, so I'm going to send it back. I use fingertip grip so I think that an ambidextrous shape and lighter mouse would be better for me. G203 is less than half price of g pro, so I think I will go for it.
      Do you have g403 wired or wireless? Playing free without wire would be amazing, that is why g403/g703 caught my attention.

  • @lockjaw333

    At 3:02 in the video, the G502 makes that hideous liftoff springy noise when you let go of the right click. Its my only complaint with the G502, especially when you play for a while and your fingers get sweaty. The L and R click will lift off all of the time and make that spring noise. Grating.

  • @Boyetto-san
    @Boyetto-san 8 років тому

    When placed next to the G502, this really doesn't make much sense in terms of value. For just 10 USD more (I've also seen older non-RGB Proteus Core versions go for way cheaper than their updated Proteus Spectrum RGB version in some places), you get more premium materials and more features with the exact same sensor. But when placed next to a Zowie or other mice marketted to be no-nonsense and minimalistic for pro or competitive gaming, then its actually quite competitive. Depends on your priorities and grip style, in the end. I'd personally still take my 502 non-RGB because it accomodates palm grip better and the free-spinning scroll wheel is nice to have for general use. It's overall more flexible for a daily driver mouse for not much more money.

    gonna stick with the g102 or g203 (feels the same...but no braided cable...which is actually great since the new flexible cable is thinner and lighter...also the middle click is easier to press...so its a win win win over the g pro!because of the price too)

      It's probably just your grip that is letting you down... I use the full palm grip and the g303 works with me. My hand-span is 26cm and the g303 is a tiny mouse so it's not the size that matters.

    This mouse, because of its extreme sensitivity come with one problem though, in windows and some programs, when I need to doubleclick twice in the same pixel, i am sometimes having a problem. But of course when it comes to shooter games where you need it to detect tiniest movements, its amazing...

    been using the g302 for a couple of months now, my hand still not sitting naturally because of the diamond shape, i mean it feels nice in hand, but just doesn't feel natural....
    hoping to try this G Pro soon... it has the same metal spring button, same extra buttons, better sensor, same size but safer shape. Probably what im looking for

  • @badnewsbruner
    @badnewsbruner 5 років тому

    After years with the Deathadder, I've realized that I play like shit with an ergo palm grip mouse that forces your grip style. I used to use a Razer Diamondback, but when the Deathadder came out I switched.... At the time I didn't realize, or maybe didn't want to realize that my KDR went down because I wasn't using the right mouse for me. The G Pro is very similar to the Diamondback in shape and size, and they just released the Hero version with mechanical switches and a thinner cable... I think I found my new mouse. Great video Dimitry, as usual ;)

    Ok so a couple tips of using this, you dont need to apply as much pressure to push the middle button if you tap it from the side. Its so that if your shooting and you need to click it, you can hit it from the side. Also pros use it, so its pretty good

    I really wish that we would be able to get an FPS oriented mouse with the G600's three face button layout. It's so handy having middle mouse click under my ring finger rather than between my index and middle finger, but the twelve buttons on the side are really awkward to press when playing FPS games. The mouse is MMO oriented, so a version with perhaps two or just one thumb button that's mechanical and easier to press when moving the mouse around would be my perfect mouse.

    Looking forward to this mouse. Re scroll click I would rather a more robust scroll wheel mounting than a lighter scroll click. As a general rule I avoid scroll click as this is often a point of failure in ling term use on other mice. I expect this mouse will be hard to beat at any price.

      the new DA is insane good and it's cheaper than this one by far. It comes to the hand size 'coz the DA is quite large (but still light weight) and some people can find it uncomfortable. This G-PRO is a little mause for the people who like small mause.

  • @vinofiloblado1618
    @vinofiloblado1618 7 років тому

    I really like having lots of buttons, but I feel like it's a worthy sacrifice for the incredibly light weight. Though I wish that there was a great optical mouse at about 100 grams with at least four extra side buttons.
    Also, heavy middle click? I agree that it is a little heavy (and unsatisfying to click), but it isn't that bad and definitely usable in any situation.

    I own G502 and Roccat Kiro but couldn't resist trying out this mouse. I was expecting it to be perfectly safe shape but after several minutes of usage my palm starts hurting. The sides are weirdly shaped I cannot describe it but feels a bit bulky and hard to lift comfortably. G502 seems larger but better to fit my hand. I'm disappointed overall.
    After playing the whole weekend I can confirm that the shape is not for me. Holding this mouse comfortably is impossible for me. Cannot find suitable grip. Will return and stick to G502.

    I just feel that Logitech G Pro is a little too light weight.. I already have it for 1 month, and I am still trying to get used to it. I've been using heavier mouse for 14 years tho..

    hey dimitry! do you shoot in log? there's a lot of noise where there are LEDs like on the mouse and your keyboard.

    can you test something in the G-Pro, if you didn't already... If you assign a new key to the dpi switch in the software, like for it to be the letter "P" in the keyboard" and save, will it store that setting in the memory? If you connect it to another computer without installing the logitech gaming software will that button still be the lette P in the keyboard?

    Hey I am currently using the G 900 and I am having a little bit of trouble with the size of it(17.5 cm hands). Would this mouse fit me better? I claw while playing. I think I would enjoy something lighter and easier to grip.

    @HardwareCanucks hey, Dmitry, would you mind sharing how long is it from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm? I had an old Logitech G5 and palm grip with it was awesome, so I’m curious about this one by comparing it to the scenes where you show using it. Thanks!

    Hey. I just got the G502 Proteus Spectrum yesterday, but I’m feeling it heavy even with no weights. Also, it’s kinda difficult to move around. Would it be better to change it for the G Pro? Is te G Pro more comfortable, lighter, easier to manage...?
    I’m really concerned :(

    i will never see my dream mouse ever
    has to be similar to the Logitech G502 proteus spectrum / Corsair M95 for the button layout and has to have a ring click like the Logitech G600. I have used the G600 for a long time and i have grown on the ring click i use it as a sniper button but i only know one mouse with a ring click and i am not an MMO/MOBA gamer i play games such as GTA/CSGO/COD/Battlefield/FIFA the last one i use a controller but non of the tiles are MMO/MOBA type

    Hi, I just purchased this mouse yesterday and i plugged it in and the RGB lights come on but then after it cycles through all the colours it turns off and no more lights come back on. Is this normal? is it because i have no Logitech software installed yet? I just thought it would keep cycling through the RGB even without the software installed?

      I'm not a huge fan of Razer mice (Logitech FTW), but Razer makes a left-handed version of their Deathadder. My friends own it and they're really happy. I imagine that the Deathadder would be more comfortable than ambidextrous mice.

    • @1ake1
      @1ake1 8 років тому

      I am left handed even though i use keyboard and mouse like a right handed. I gotta say Razer Deathadder is extremely comfortable but if you come from a smaller mouse you will feel like its way too big. You will get used to it.

      Look at the Logitech G900. As a fellow lefty, I would say Logitech finally showed us some love with this mouse. It even has hyper scroll wheel support, which is a first for an Ambidextrous gaming mouse.

    So I just got this one, and it feels really weird.I play Overwatch a lot. It's good for still shots as Mccree for example but I find flick shots, and especially tracking as tracer really hard. It feels like it's trying to autoadjust itself whenever I try to track smoothly which is a pain in the arse. Can't figure out if my mousepad could cause problems it's a bit rough. Worst thing about it is the edges of the mousepad seems to be grinding a lot with the mouse wire. Anyways have anyone experienced something similar? What fixed it for you? (Yes, the auto enchance stuff is off).

      Debraid the mouse cable (tutorials online), also get hotline gaming mouse feet (eBay). Will stop cable drag, and the feet make the mouse glide smoother
