  • Super quick! Use frozen veg and scramble the eggs in the wok with the rice. This one's all about the seasoning. www.recipetineats.com/egg-fri...

You have wonderful recipes. I´m a single person and need to freeze things being already cooked in portions. Which is far better than a supermarket bought ready meal. I can sometimes even use my own vegetables and herbs since I have a small garden to grow.

I also do this. I used to get ready made meals until I realised how much sodium they stuff into them. I enjoy making my own meals and healthy versions of some of the ready made meals.

I love your recipes. Your cookbook is also the only cookbook I have ever bought. Growing up with the internet always available I never felt the need for cookbooks but I do have a notebook where I write down recipes I find myself making frequently. After I discovered your website, probably half of the recipes in my notebook are from you! 😅 So when your book came out it just made more sense to buy a book with those same beloved recipes printed with beautiful photos plus many more easily available in one book ❤

What a sobering perspective. I grew up with a lot of cookbooks, grandma ,Aunties, neighbors available a phone call away. I have old family cookbooks with their handwriting in them and it brings me right back to "them". The world has really changed.

As a Chinese,i m sure u have a good cooking hand but,we do not cook rice recipe like that.
First the rice u prepare looks weird .its not sticky at all,but it won't have much influence. and you added too much seasonings. Salt is enough. Then i m wondering which kind of oil u using?the olive oil not suitable for cooking this.
    Well,just some suggestions.

I’ve learned through trial and error that if you use soy sauce and oyster sauce, you’ll have enough salt. The bacon also adds salt.
