Personally wouldn’t recommend it. Lack of focus is something that doesn’t do well on UA-cam. If it’s something you want to put it out there though, definitely consider making a second lower effort channel so you can share the journey as you see fit.
On a personal note, I’m not very interested in bodybuilding among the fitness channels I do watch. But that’s just me. Data point of one.

If you have a friend who is good at something, and does a job for you, pay them more. Don't ask for a discount. I want my friends to do well and not lose money because of me. Thanks for answering questions. I'm a newer subscriber and learned a lot.

So some folk expect cheaper mates rates.
Maybe you should pay more because there your mate.
The mate thing works both ways.

i'm happy to always say yes to friends and family jobs but give them the choice - pay full price or i do it for free. i don't mind which one they choose, i leave it to them to decide.

I used to have a small business as a screen printer. My mark up was general 3-4x the base cost of shirts (to cover labor, ink, etc)
For friends looking for a discount, I'd work them to bring the costs down, but never give direct discounts. I'd direct them to buy the blank Ts or hoodies, ask them to help with the design, hell if they wanted it cheaper, help me with the labor of burning the silk screen. I'd basically show them what actually went into the work they were asking me to discount for them. Actual silk screen printing a shirt is trivial, it's all the work that goes into getting to the point of silk screening that's the challenge. I could print 200 shirts an hour when I'm in a rhythm...it takes about half a day from computer screen to burning the screens, to setting up the alignment to start printing.
Long story short, I was willing to work down the price if friend's were willing to work with me. if they weren't, I'd say "sorry, can't" or sometimes just buy cheaper shirts, dumb down ("stylize") the design, and give them a discount product. I learned that's not the best way to go, because if I do cheap work, it hurts my reputation.

I think the key is don't ask. If they want to shave off a little profit to help you out, they will. Asking just makes you both uncomfertable.

So true that some customers cannot be pleased, and seem to go out of their way to try to ruin your day. Thankfully those people are usually rarer than the decent ones. Makes you quite resilient over time though, which is an amazing life skill to hone. Great work Dan!

The Q&A part 2 about shoes for people with one foot.
There is a website where you can privately sell/swap/trade your shoes with others who only one leg.
You legit search what size and whether you need left or right. And also relevant style so trainers, dress shoes, brands etc etc.
The person buys a pair, then puts the one they don’t need on the website, you show an interest and pay then they send it to you

Hi Dan. I've recently discovered your channel in my search to how to repair boots myself. I wanted only to add a plate to the outer heel that was worn more that normal because of an injury, but at this point I am deep in the You Tube wormhole of Cobbling!
That you enjoy your work certainly come through the camera. Thanks so much for showing us your work. I have a question:
    - What would be your recommendation for a replacement out sole for Bear Paw boots (they look like the UGGS original). There appears to be no mid-sole. It's the upper glued to the soft foamy-rubber-like out sole. Should I glue the new sole to the original or remove it altogether?
Thanks so much! Please continue to share your work with us. I appreciate it. :)

Greetings Dan, I always look forward to your videos. Please keep the Q & A segments going they are very informative. On repairing shoes, when you are trimming the sole of the shoe, I would be afraid of scuffing the shoe leather. Do these trimmers have an adjustment so the blade or belt cannot reach into the shoe leather? How many foot pounds of pressure does the presser exert? Would it be possible for you do an in-depth demonstration of the machines and their adjustments? (Not the stitchers, you have demonstrated them in a previous video.)

New Dan's tradition besides Getting Sticky and meeting Ron in various moments - handing out Trigger Tissues ! That moment where you paint the edge of the new sole is always an anxiety generator. You never know if it won't go out of the way and onto the shoe itself. Keeping fingers crossed on the house transaction and moving in ! Too bad to hear George is not much of a help ;)

In response to you influencing people’s lives.. I’m a cobbler in New Orleans, Louisiana and I’ve inherited a shoe shop not very long ago with only about a years worth of apprenticeship… Safe to say it is and has been very tough for me to keep this business going by myself, and I would have to say if it weren’t for your in depth videos here on UA-cam I probably wouldn’t have had the confidence or the knowledge to keep this place going. Still running into new issues every single day, but trying my best and setting good expectations with the customers! The human body has it's limits and if it's not feeling up for pushing weights there's no reason at all to make yourself do it just cause of peer pressure from friends or acquaintances. You can easily hurt yourself badly by overly exerting your body past it's limits.

I thought you switched the name to Dan the Cobbler. Did you change back? Enjoyed the Q & A but like the cobbling better. Either way I'll keep watching.

Can I send you some U.S. Army Combat Boots. You should have an interesting time with them. They have a weird heel construct.

All these fancy bottom soles, for something that no one, especially not the owner, will ever see. It's basically a gimmick to get people to come back and spend more money after the slightest wear and tear. But I suppose the people buying these shoes aren't doing anything but getting in and out of a car as the door is opened for them by their driver, where they then walk on the backs of people as they make their way to a carpeted interior. You couldn't even walk down the street to get a coffee in these shoes without worrying about scuffs.
