As soon as the first "Where's Ron" started, an orange juice ad popped up, and there was a red and white straw in the glass. Not registering it being an ad, I thought, "Now this is gonna be interesting." But then I realized it was an ad. Bummer. But where's Ron? He's right there (then wait for the close-up).
I actually like the idea of an "interactive" YT video. You could totally do it! Just like a "choose your own adventure book". Give the viewers a choice and then add a time stamp link to click to go to the repair they want to see first :-P Great video as always, Dan. Thanks!
Great job, glad they caught the robber, but I hope you get your equipment back! Those shoes are really neat.....thank you for these videos - they are very fun, and informative too! Thanks! Stay cool....best wishes from Nevada!
No Dan, the Skittles shoe is not cool, I wouldn't have paid $4K for them, such a waste of money to look like a clown!! Love your channel, best wishes from Ensenada, Mexico
Watched every single video you have uploaded. Amazing work! Have an issue. What does one do when a patent leather shoe has gotten deep creases? I straightened the creases, but the damage in the leather is still visible with the micro damages that run a bit deep into the leather. Can you either reply to me or fix a pair where you actually repair this kind of creases?
Dan I've been watching and following you for a while, how ever I've been away from UA-cam for a bit , I am truly sorry about that situation you mentioned 😞 I'm sorry I don't have the funds to send right now but I will soon I plan on sending you some shoes to touch up for me soon so when I do I'll send something in the box too help. Cheers 🍻 and keep your head up. From across the big pond jay.
Amazed by your skill, very entertaining, any young people watching, learn a skill or trade you will never go hungry or have to thief from the people who put the time and effort in to do so,
Good that they catched the burglar ! Justice happens for once where it is needed ! The initial pair of Louboutins is really bizarre, must be a challange to restore them and not damage the upper studs. But Dan has solutions for everything. Enjoyed the multiple Where's Rons throughout the vid. 10:12 - yay, new gluebrush ! 12:13 - hi Don !
Everybody is humming the piano part, but here I am, "bum bumbum bum bum"-ing with the bass, because I play bass...someone has to anchor the song, it may as well be me.
The new sticky glue brush was so satisfying. One question for you Dan; why do you do the top of the shoe before the bottom? AND Don was in the upstairs window, next to the silver car!
Ron was up in the window. So glad that the authorities caught the guy/guys. By the way, what's the summer heat been like over there? Here it has been awful, just horrible. Especially here in the South. Heat mixed with humidity. Just awful. ❤ from the 🇺🇸
Hey, just came across your channel by sheer dumb luck a few days ago. Oddly enjoyable to watch & not something I have watched before. Quick question for you: do you hit your fingers with the hammer or stick yourself with nails very often in the course of working on customers' shoes? My father was an upholsterer by trade and has done it all - even put a staple through a knuckle with a staple gun once many years ago!
Maybe it would be interesting if you named the models of the shoes you repair, in others videos with Timberland type boots there is no problem, but in this video the second pair of shoes you repair in this video seems beautiful to me, where do I buy it?,
Hello, Dan, forgive me. Can I use your videos and work on them in my Arabic language? I love your content. I hope you will not refuse. Please answer me as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
The second Ron was a little hard and took a few seconds. Lucky for me, the third Ron took a couple of seconds as I looked straight away to the open window.
3:00 To be fair.. if you did not mention "UA-cam is not interractive" It would be same as magic tv shows... people always pick, and do not realize.. there is a 33% chance you will pick it, and when you do.. they go "damn I knew it".
Man, I appreciate the work you put into your business and these videos. Just so it doesn’t get old for you, one where's ron segment a video is totally fine, but it is a lot of fun. I usually like to pause for these kinda things, but part of the challenge is seeing if I can get it before the reveal. Keep it up! I got the first one, that second one was a doozey, but the third i got right away, ironically.
That Louboutin logo isn't embroidered, it's stamped on. Embroidery is when you stitch fabric or leather with thread with multiple lines to form a design.
I don’t know about anyone else but would sure like to know who the guy is who owns those shoes. He’s got to be a really cool guy. Love those shoes especially the black ones.
I'm pretty sure you can make the videos interactive, if i remember correctly, an anotation with a link to a part of the video would work, you click the shoe you want repaired, and the anotation takes you there
What if you did a compation where you invited 5 contestant who are interested in repairing shoes each one repairs a set of shoes you film them repairing the shoes then when all five have repaired Thier shoes you Dan have the privilege of crowning the best oh how easy could it be and a joy for use to watch there disasters
I simply don't think any form of shampoo on suede is remotely sensible. The risk of water damage is very high. The shoes themselves all came up really well with the sole work. I do wish you would keep a bin by the bench rather than throwing the rubbish on the floor, particularly the tacks.
Did they change the color of the replacement soles? These seem to match better then some of your earlier videos. Would have liked so seem the restoration of the tan ones.
Nice job. Ps, I've messaged you a couple of times on FB asking about rerpairing a couple of pairs of Timberlands. I'll message again noww. If you could respond it would be great.
Glad they caught the little scrote who robbed ya shop. Shame you didn't catch the little bastard. I can imagine what would have happened! Having said that, if you're scared of a wee little spider.........! Lol. 😅
Taste the RAINBOW I’m sure that millions of rainbow loving guys will gladly pay for you to taste test. From a Cook Islander who can’t believe that a beautiful rainbow is not beautiful anymore.
Always a pro, sorry to hear about being a victim of crime - just terrible. It’s mad someone would spend £4k on suede slippers with M&Ms stuck on! Bonkers! 😂
Your work is so exact and top notch , Dan. 👍 Amazing stuff the sole trimming alone. I would’ve messed everything up at that stage. You’re an artist. Worth every penny and all the praise coming your way from satisfied customers.
Hi Dan, just found your channel. Really enjoying your videos as they bring back fond memories of my first job. Back in the early 80’s I left school with next to no qualifications and ended up on a government training scheme called the YTS (youth training scheme) the pay was rubbish but I loved the job. I worked in a shop called Coombes which was part of a multiple owned by Allied Shoe Repairs who were later taken over by Mister Minit who were eventually bought by Timpsons. The guy that trained me was called Blake and he was a real craftsmen and I was lucky enough to learn loads from him. It was proper old fashioned back then shop closed for lunch for an hour and half day on Wednesday market days. I eventually got taken on full time and stayed in the shoe repair trade until my mid 30’s. I became a bit disillusioned with the job due to the lack of variety of work I ended up in a heel bar, so mostly stiletto heels and stick on soles. Moved on to other things and out of shoe repairing for over 20 years. That said I look back at my time in the trade fondly and it’s nice to see someone like you carve out a niche business because of your attention to detail and great skills. Well done you
Guys, Let me know if you found Ron in the last where's Ron! Also check out my 2nd channel if you're interested in the gym at all, Cheers, Dan.
I’m glad they found the bugger who broke into the shop!
@BritInvLvr he’s safe
As soon as the first "Where's Ron" started, an orange juice ad popped up, and there was a red and white straw in the glass. Not registering it being an ad, I thought, "Now this is gonna be interesting." But then I realized it was an ad. Bummer.

Ron is in the second floor window checking out all the beautiful people
I missed him the last one, bravo
Thank God, I need some Dan on this true feeling Monday. Thanks 😊 Dan !!
I’m glad the offender has been caught and I hope you manage to get your things back. Wonderful video, as always. Best regards from Phoenix, AZ!

😂
always happy to see a new video by Dan show up in my feed.
My pleasure
Very therapeutic, great work
Cheap at twice the price!! Thank you Brother.
I love watching you work, though I do miss the cork ;)
Fantastic job mister
"Pish" Was the perfect response to those people!
Your brother Don, looks a lot better than you, just saying... 🙄
you do put in the work to entertain, very fun video. thankies

Yo finally Dan uploaded!
Finding Ron pt2 was actually a lot more difficult than the others you've done :D
First.... well second to Dan!?!?
Nice job Dan. Thanks.
10:50 the slice of ham in the toaster oven 😂
Why do you clean and polish the uppers before you repair the sole, especially when you're going to create dust on the sander?
Amazed by your skill, very entertaining, any young people watching, learn a skill or trade you will never go hungry or have to thief from the people who put the time and effort in to do so,
More than wonderful work. In my opinion, the repair must be completed. And start polishing.
"Absolutely boiling today" = 18 degrees. You Brits! ;-)
Good that they catched the burglar ! Justice happens for once where it is needed !

10:12 - yay, new gluebrush ! 12:13 - hi Don !
Don says hi!
@@Dan_the_cobbler hi Don, nice to meet you. Glad to hear you're in good terms with Dan and can lend helping hand 😉
Everybody is humming the piano part, but here I am, "bum bumbum bum bum"-ing with the bass, because I play bass...someone has to anchor the song, it may as well be me.
Why haven’t you married and given us grandchildren yet?lol.
Cheers Dan just goes to show money doesn’t buy you taste!!! 🤮😂
Dan , I have messaged via shop and icloud . Are you on Holiday?
The new sticky glue brush was so satisfying. One question for you Dan; why do you do the top of the shoe before the bottom? AND Don was in the upstairs window, next to the silver car!
Usually the bottom first
@@Dan_the_cobbler yes, in most jobs you have to work your way from the bottom up ... 🫣
Back in the day youtube used to be interactive!!!
500 pounds ain't sh*t for the work you do!
Wow, I want to become a shoe now 😂😂😂 such a handsome man ❤❤❤
c'est toujours un plaisir de regarder tes video.je voudrais le meilleur colorant pour les talons des chaussures chez saphir.merci

what type of glue do you use and why do you have to heat it up before sticking it together?
great job , new shirt ?
Does he work as a clown ? wouldn't wear them if you paid me
😅
The second Ron was a little hard and took a few seconds. Lucky for me, the third Ron took a couple of seconds as I looked straight away to the open window.
A keen eye

Christian Louboutin could Design ugly looking shoes like these and people would still buy them just for the name and red sole
Man, I appreciate the work you put into your business and these videos. Just so it doesn’t get old for you, one where's ron segment a video is totally fine, but it is a lot of fun. I usually like to pause for these kinda things, but part of the challenge is seeing if I can get it before the reveal.

Odd that you would clean the shoe upper before the resole?
Louboutin shoes are a perfect example of purely paying for a name. They are super cheaply made. I'm not a fan. Very nice work though, as always.
I don’t hate them, but I dunno if I’d give 500 squids for them. The camel ones look beautiful though.
That Louboutin logo isn't embroidered, it's stamped on. Embroidery is when you stitch fabric or leather with thread with multiple lines to form a design.
This guy works on cruise ships and can afford expensive shoes……I’m in the wrong line of work lol.
Imagine buying the ugliest shows on earth just because they are Louboutin. 🤮
Excellent restorations though!
I don’t know about anyone else but would sure like to know who the guy is who owns those shoes. He’s got to be a really cool guy. Love those shoes especially the black ones.
Bro it's hot over here in the US we're I'm at to and my AC not agreeing with the humidity😭😭I feel like just taking a swim in a pool
Im lovin where is Ron! And i can definitely appreciate getting sticky! Hehehe.
I'm pretty sure you can make the videos interactive, if i remember correctly, an anotation with a link to a part of the video would work, you click the shoe you want repaired, and the anotation takes you there
how much do you charge to re soul louboutins? i'd be shipping from Canada.
All you need is fz150

I want them branded souls, what Louboutin put on when you have them, we sold direct?
Yo give me a cheap pair of tkmax dress shoes, resin and a packet of Skittles... 😂
£500 for the lot of them?!?! You definitely ought to increase your fees!!
looks like a gobstopper on those shoes. Also, it could have been Shnozberry.
I simply don't think any form of shampoo on suede is remotely sensible. The risk of water damage is very high. The shoes themselves all came up really well with the sole work.

My daughter was watching this with me and loved the Where’s Ron game. We watched it like 3 times because she wanted to see it again lol
Love that!
👏👏👏glad they caught the guy.
Nice job. Ps, I've messaged you a couple of times on FB asking about rerpairing a couple of pairs of Timberlands. I'll message again noww. If you could respond it would be great.
The owner of these shoes makes a good point: Having money does not mean you have any sense of style....
Love the shirt
well its a good thing the little thief has been nabbed. Sadly we all know he will be out on a tag at worst. My guess is time served and he is free. 😡
Have you been hobbled by this Glis Glis we've all been reading about?
Id love to spend a day with this guy photographing him at work. Good stuff
YaY!!!
Glad the burglar got caught!
found Ron, whatever happened to the young lady that used to pop in on your video's?
Have you ever accidentally ruined a pair of your customers shoes?
Those shoes with little balls on the tip are…..scary.
I don't know what is up with the rubber ducks, and at this point I am too afraid to ask!
why don't you use a straw and blow the suede liquid and made BIG bubbles?
Ever thought about a Steinel heat gun?
Ron is in the window above the shop next to the silver die cast model car
Love your videos. Would like to see more videos, even for simple shoe repairs. :)
Up above the word shoe🤷🏼♀️🤔😘🫂😘
Thank you for this amazing video!
I'm going to make my own, all I need is a bag of M & M's, and glue.
That first pair are the epitome of "has more money than sense." Or taste, for that matter.
Yay! 1st comment! Love your channel!
I have a feeling the owner of those shoes is a little flamboyant 😂
Glad they caught the little scrote who robbed ya shop. Shame you didn't catch the little bastard. I can imagine what would have happened!

Ron was seen. Too cheap for that lot that you did
