Have you noticed tinting? You can notice it especially if both displays output something with white simultaneously (for example, pure white background). As far as I've read, this has nothing to do with panel type: VG27AQA1A, VG27AQL1A and VG27AQ1A (cheaper variation of VG27AQL1A) affected with this, where only the first one is VA-panel and the latter ones are IPS. People write that this is just due to the fact that ASUS doesn't calibrate those models on factory at all, so the tinting will be present and different customers will get different tints (one will get yellow, while the other one - green). P.S. Also, I think that I have to factor here that ASUS may have different factories location that may produce panels with tint or without it. For example, due to my location I'll get product manufactured in China (at least most os ASUS products I had came from there while your panel may have been manufactured in NA). But it's also may not be a thing, since I've read about tint problem on different websites from different regions.
Now that you have been using it for awhile, how is the black smearing most (if not all) VA panels get? Is it noticeable? And how about the response time? Does it feel laggy? Just ordered one to use as secondary monitor as it was on a big discount (for 200 USD, or 189 euros here in EU, includes taxes). Oh and big hello from Finland!
I love this monitor, I don't notice any issues in terms of black smearing or laggyness. Gaming is pretty damn good. I might end up buying the same monitor for my 2nd screen.
@@sykeko Thanks for the quick reply! This monitor is not popular enough so you can't find any big reviews of it. Like any. All you find are the IPS version of it.
150 bucks on sale now! Newegg!!!
Thanks for the video, considering getting this monitor since its on a pretty good sale right now, about $170 on amazon crazy.
@@paulthatsall2382 well worth it. Other than the power button being in the back, I love this monitor
