Purchased on HD online so I havrnt seen one, jus know something will arrive in a few dates but I wasn't able to go into the store to see what I actually bought, so I needed ur video, thanks. As others have said the Teflon tape is not needed. The “finger space” “required” is absurd. Drill your drain hose at the top of the cabinet for a neater appearance.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you have really really tight space in the back, like 2" or less, then you will need to cut a hole at the bottom to thread the waterline and discharge tube from the bottom. That part took me 4 hours, trying to keep the existing hole at the top, but was never able to fit the washer fully into the opening.

Make sure (by adjusting the front feet) that the dishwaher is level Front to back using the botom dish rack tracks as a refrence ,, if the machine is not level front to back you "will" will likly get an error message when the machine fills as the water in the shallow sump will pool fowared or back and trigger the water level sensor into sensing the machine is flooding or having a fill issue..

Came to UA-cam when husband was getting all freaky cause he couldn't find parts in the box. I said it's probably inside the unit 🤦♀️😳 Of course I was right, he hates that 😂🤣 He wasn't gonna listen to me so I figured he'd listen to you 😁 I'll go get him a Snickers now while he watches you.
The instructions call to use the plastic nut that came with it. Not the metal one
You didn't finish the job dude. What screws did you use? Mine didn't come with any.
Just a heads up all the controls are designed to be operated with the door open not fit your finger between counter and control panel
Also the plastic adapter can be replace with the metal one … Samsung dishwashers have a lot more to worry about than stripping the water inlet

Bro it’s not a strain reliever, it’s a Romex connector, which is required by code in every point of entry of a box or piece of equipment…..
I think he’s just going off the install manual, Samsung has it listed in there as a strain relief
7:30 you're literally holding the instructions that tell you to replace the metal nut on the elbow with the included plastic nut. The metal nut can easily strip plastic thread on the inlet pipe.

On the right side of the panel, what is the little sun over the lock mean? My dishwasher won't start and that is lit up.
That means you've locked the controls to prevent children from turning it on, you need to hold down the Heated Dry for 3 secs to unlock the Controls
Did you have an issue with it not drying your dishes?
I had someone hook this up for me and im seeing the 2 hooks on top where the buttons are and I dont think that is right will it be possible to send you pics so you can tell me if this was done correctly?
I installed it but my garbage disposal is always running even when the switch is off. Has this happened to anyone else
My sink is on the right, not the left. This video shows installation with the sink on the left. Are the hoses reversible to accommodate situations like mine where the sink is on the right of the opening that my dishwasher must be installed in?
See 6:30 - It will still work on the right, there is no need to reverse the loop on the left side panel, you just need to thread the hose to the bottom behind the washer, the bottom has a good 2" clearance for that purpose. There should be plenty of hose length for a normal install.

hello i bougth this same diswasher use and i dint see a chord anywhere, i have a plugg in diswaher now but also had a hard wire before that one, fixing to out in a plugg

Just picked up strain relief and bought 1” before realizing the hole is smaller. Went back to store and got 3/4” one. Damn almost fit. Back to store again. Guessing it needs 3/8” one. Why don’t the instructions tell you what size strain relief to get? Annoying.

How has it been as a dishwasher? Any issues?
1 year later, it works perfectly. If its mostly empty, the dishwasher will be loud because the water is clanking against the plastic edges of the inside enclosure, but the way the water is sprayed is very good coverage and very intense and hard to get off the grime. Overall I like it, I have this LG in my mother's place that is super quiet, that you don't even know if its on or off, which surprisely is annoying. This one is not as loud as old ones from 15 yrs ago, but still you can make out some noise of the water, yet not as quiet as the LG. So overall I like it so far.

Will you be ineligible for warranty if you install it yourself?
You can install it yourself without voiding the warranty. The warranty is only voided if you break the dishwasher during installation and the damage is self inflected, otherwise the equipment is still under warranty.
