duuuuude! that's it! you da' man! my issue was the damn brass fitting i got. i couldn't figure out how to fit the ring because it was too big! i don't think i read anywhere what you showed! you should write manuals for samsung! thank you sooooooo much! 🤘
Thank you for the video! I don't suppose you know where I could get the plastic adapter. I was removing my dishwasher and didn't have enough slack in the water line and broke the plastic piece. I tried to use a brass one, but it seems that it's not as deep especially with the rubber gasket in there. And getting the threads to line up is a little more risky too. I didn't have any luck. Mainly cause the brass one is less deep.
I’m getting a 5C code and Samsung has been out twice. It’s been installed three months and isn’t draining. The first guy said the air gap was clogged and the second guy said the drain hose was cut too short…. and then left. It looks fine to me and it was working before. Any suggestions?
Can anyone here tell me if all dishwashers water inlet hoses are alll using this universall 1 inch thread universal connector. I have a Fisher Paykel that came with this hard factory installed non flexible all plastic hose. Sometime manufacturers that want to sell parts, make parts unique so you have no choice to buy genuine replacement parts. I do not want to spend $70 on a new Fisherpaykel hose that is .400 OD.

Excellent! Thanks for clarifying that.
Glad to help! I appreciate your support!
Thanks for this video. We just got a new Samsung Dishwasher and the nut connector is not on there? Did they stop putting them on?
Can you please make a video of Samsung fridge water line installation for ice and water?
You’re awesome! I’ve never done anything like this before. This was a huge help!
Glad it helped!
Very good video, many thanks!
You are welcome!

My samsung didn't come with the plastic fitting. My manual shows it's a supplied item. Ok to just use brass fitting?
Love this channel 👍💯
Thank you!
Every water line kit I see at big box stores have the longer 90 elbow. Where do you get the shorter one? Thanks
This link includes an elbow that will work because it's curved:

Thank you for this, the included instructions don't really make it easy to figure out the connection.
No problem Shawn. That is why I am here! Hope you were able to successfully connect it!
why can't you lust use the brass fitting
You can but the manufacturer (Samsung) recommends this fitting.
Samsung charges almost $40 for that plastic piece. I'll just use the brass one.
Don't you need to use thread tape?
Why? There's no NPT threads. The gaskets do the sealing. No water ever touches the thread.
