As a northerner we have always said
    Breakfast morning meal
    Dinner is lunch
    Tea is supper

I loved this. So relatable. In terms of ‘tea’ I always assumed it was dinner. No matter what time you had it - early or later

'Tea' is a snack like sandwiches, that you have with between lunch and dinner, so after school.

Actually that's true "Feeding is love language for Asian." If you don't offer them food they may won't visit again 😂 😂

We are also an interracial couple, wife is English and I am Bengali. Last year we went to Bangladesh and guess what we saw… frozen milk. We were both shocked when it was pulled out of the freezer. So maybe it’s a Cornwall/ Bangladeshi thing.

Thank you for this video, I find everything you discussed very relatable as my partner is also bengali. I found it unusual when south asian people ask me how many brothers and sisters I have, as being one of the first questions, when they first meet me. And also that asian couples don't like displaying their emotions and affection towards their partner when they are in public. I have never seen bongoli people holding hands or hugging. My partner explained that this is to do with the culture and not wanting to disturb the people around, which I totally understand.

Also freezing milk is wild, that's a Janet and Bernard think not an English thing. This also might be too old now, but english people having a biscuit tin/box full of sewing needles and thread, many hearts have been broken by this.

Freezing milk is actually genius lol and I hear some people freeze bread as well 👀
Also, the biscuit tin full of sewing equipment must be universal because my Asian family do this as well 😅

Biscuit tin or quality st/celebrations tin with sewing equipment. It’s a classic one. Never frozen milk. Never felt the need as there are so many shops around me

To be honest, I believe this has more to do with what kind of jobs/hours everyone is doing in the household including the guests that will be arriving! South Asians work around the clock! Some are doing 9/5 some are working evenings, and some are doing night shifts. And they have to try to work out something that will be convenient for everyone! Also, because we are closely connected with our families, everyone has different timings according to their generation. Parents wake up at different times, and children/adults wake up at different times! However, in their parent's or grandparents' native country the people wake up and pretty much do everything at roughly the same time! In England were all over the place at all times! Lol. 3:12
