I recommend moving the bed to a wall instead of the window. Having the bed in front of the window can cause the energy entering through the window to disrupt sleep.

For anyone removing that adhesive, use a blowdryer or heat gun to warm it, then follow up with the Goo Gone. Easy peasy.

Suggestion: I think if you put the sectional where the widow and the current TV wall meets it will open your living room up more. Then put the TV where the entry table is and hang the TV on the wall.
As far as the heart of the home the kitchen, get new sets of cups, glasses, new sets of dishes. Everthing will look more uniform. Love ur new Home!

You should consider raising the curtain rod in the bathroom. I saw the idea on HGTV years ago and I tried in my bathroom. It gives the bathroom a spa living room vibe if that's a thing. Plus more head space for hubby when climbing in the bath. But if he doesn't use that bathroom I guess it doesn't matter.
