yea there is. There is also a melee weapon that guarantees crits if you hit them in mid air. The rocket Jumper was made in order for people to do that. Its just a fun loadout not meant to actually be i guess competitively viable, kinda similar to a demo knight.

Well, at least they can have some TIME to BREATHE and market garden weak enemies that were ON THE RUN. When the trolldier is doing the GREAT GIG IN THE SKY and they see an ECLIPSE from the figure above, they can bet all their MONEY that they're gonna get hit so hard that they get BRAIN DAMAGE. Some see it as funny, some see it as useless. But if you were to SPEAK TO ME, I'd say "Choose ANY COLOUR YOU LIKE."

I compared it to those two as all three are the most defensively-focused of engineer's weapons. Short Circuit most definitely pales in comparison to those two.

They fixed Pocket Pistol. In exchange, they FUCKED the Sandman(balled players can still use weapons) and the Guillotine(can't mini crit, crit stunned).

By that logic the SVF could be seen as "useful" when paired with the Phlog since it helps build MMMPH. The Manmelter is a terrible weapon and the Phlog is outclassed by literally every other one of Pyro's primaries. The Phlogistinator is a gimmick weapon. If it werent for the lack of compression blasting, the Phlog's signature MMMPH crit would have been nerfed into the ground ages ago. However, it's Pyro's signature air blast that makes him the game's duelist class. Pyro can ambush, lead frontal assault, extinguish teammates, reflect projectiles, and is surprisingly mobile when Flare or Detonator jumping. Taking away air blasting removes half those gameplay mechanics and cripples the other ones since the Manmelter is the ONLY Flare gun alternative with extinguishing capability. While yes, the Phlog can deal some serious damage, it absolutely neuters Pyro's kit and honestly, it makes him worse at what he alone is capable of doing.
OK, here's my quick overview on this list: #9: While yes, the Dead Ringer can be annoying in some situations, its not the worst "weapon" in the Spy's arsenal. I would say the Enforcer deserves it more than the Dead Ringer, as its basically a direct downgrade to the stock Revolver in most situations that would need more buffs to be a good sidegrade to the Stock. The Dead Ringer may need a little nerf like a longer blink time or something along those lines that would make it a little easier to track Dead Ringer Spy. #8: Agreed. The Huo-Long Heater was probably the worst Heavy weapon back then as it basically did the same as the stock but worse, now its an OK weapon that may need a few buffs like after a meter is full, your bullet deals afterburn. The Brass Beast now is the worst Heavy weapon, the 20% damage resistance while spun down and under 50% health isn't to bad but the slower spin up and movement speed really makes this weapon not as fun and that 20% damage bonus isn't the most noticeable. Maybe they could increase the speed of the spin up and movement speed and make you immune to knockback and then it would probably be better. #7: While yes again, it doesn't do as much DPS as the SMG while under the effects of the CRICKEY meter, you actually do more DPS than the SMG which kinda makes it balanced, maybe a few tweak here and there to the weapon and also to the SMG, maybe. #6: Agreed and Disagreed. This weapon is the perfect example of being both OP and Shit, OP in Competitive as you are rewarded for dying which is stupid in concept meaning that you always have an Über advantage against the other Medic who then also uses it for the same reason making it banned in all forms in Competitive and Shit in Pubs as it doesn't really benefit you that much I think. They need to completely rework this weapon like damage dealt is returned as health and an longer Übercharge but at the cost of you dying you can't build Über for about 10 - 15 seconds and a damage penalty to somewhat balance it out. #5: I would have to disagree with this one cause there is a two worser weapon than the Phlog and that's the Sharpened Volcano Fragment as the Flamethrowers and Flare Guns do everything better than it and the Third Degree and even though its a direct upgrade to stock, the stat is very situational as going melee against a Heavy + Medic Combo is a stupid idea. Although the Phlog may need a few buffs like it healing 50 HP on taunt but increase the amount of damage to get a full meter from 300 to 600. #4: I would also agree and disagreeand there is another weapon that is much worse than the Pretty's Boy's Pocket Pistol and even with the recent buff, it's still the worst weapon in the game and that's the Sun-on-a-Stick as you can't do jack shit with the damage and even if someone is on fire and the fire resistance doesn't really do anything as you only have 125 health, it should really set people on fire and increase the fire resistance from 25% to 50%. I'll agree with you that the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol is the worst Scout Secondary as the negatives destroy the positives as the Mad Milk does everything better. It should give you on kill more health that can be added onto overheal, taking no fall damage overall, remove the damage penalty but dealing 20% less damage then it would be a good Scout Secondary. #3: I'm sure sure what to think about Engineer's weapons as all of them now are good and balanced, even the Short Circuit but I can see how boring it can get and maybe not be as fun when you are going against one, especially if you're a Soldier or Demo. #2: Agreed. Although I would put the Ullapool Caber instead of the Claidheamh Mòr, it didn't deserve any nerfs. It's literally a shittier version of the Half Zatoichi as the Half Zatoichi does everything better. They should give back the increase charge time as it was something that made it unique from the other swords and give it an increased movement speed so it makes it the Powerjack for the Demo which can be good for both Demoman and Demoknight. #1: Well, that was unexpected. I was expecting either the Mantreads or the confusing nerf to the Bison but the Rocket Jumper?! I can kinda see where you are coming from as it is a gimmick weapon, I mean it is the less threatening out of the arsenal as the model is bright orange, has a silly design and has that sign on the side that proves its a practice weapon and that it was the recent meme on /r/tf2. I think buff it slightly (and yes I did just say that) it could give the Soldier faster movement speed and regenerates 10 health per second to balance out that it doesn't deal any damage, basically like the Soldier's own Alia Bab's Wee Booties/Bottlegger. Overall, this was a great list that I was looking forward and much anticipated to watch for a long time since you announced it. However I feel this countdown should've been called "Top Nine Least Favourite Team Fortress 2 Weapons", instead as some of these weapon aren't the worst of the class like the Dead Ringer, the Phlog and the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol.
Brass Beast could ignore the damage rampup that the other miniguns have, so instead of doing half damage it would do 100% right at the start, that start being still 0,4 seconds slower than Stock. However it would become the only minigun that could do full damage instantly while being revved up without needing to prefire, but the accuracy rampup and the slowness would still be the downsides. People complained that the Phlog effect was too strong, but all it ever needed was a proper charge meter lenght to balance it out. A strong effect that takes a long time to charge up is way better choice than a small spammable fart, and the mmmphf effect is the only reason why people play pyro anyways, it has to be worth using.
Have a qeustion concerning scout. Fawful said nobody talks about '"Pretty" Boy, but i disagree. Cuase nobody talks about WINGER. Why? It's not that bad right?
Vladax94 Winger isn't widely used because it's not a pickup-and-play -weapon. The user has to clearly know the spots in the map where the extra jump height is actually beneficial to take the most advantage out of it, having a clear plan to use it. I had one fellow 6v6 scout that used it in certain maps, snakewater and gullywash I believe.

Weapon Updates: The Short Circuit now has a DBZ-style attack as an alt-fire (2018). The Dead Ringer has been nerfed, the Pocket Pistol has been changed (but not really improved or made worse) and the Vita-Saw has been reworked (2017).
Honestly, seasons 6-8 are the only seasons of Spongebob that are BAD. Seasons 1-3 are good, seasons 4 and 5 are less good, but still solid, and season 9 is somewhere in between 1-3 and 4-5. The infamous episodes everyone associates with modern spongebob like the splinter, one course meal, a pal for gary, and many more, came from seasons 6 7 and 8.

I think even though spy may be pretty weak nowadays, it still is a very important part of tf2. It doesn't matter if the spy doesn't do anything for the entire game, it keeps a constant air of suspense and caution. Now the dead ringer makes this even more evident, it doesn't matter if the spy doesn't own it, there's always the constant fear that the person you just killed may not be actually dead.
You thought the Claidheamh Mor was nerfed badly? You should've seen how heavily nerfed the Persian Persuader was. It went from a weapon that cut your shield charge time in half and all turned all ammo pickups into health packs into a weapon that reduces your primary and secondary ammo by *80%*, they turned the ammo-turns-to-health bonus into ammo-gives-you-more charge and removed the charge time-reduction rate (and ALL of those changes happened during the Tough Break update). It basically turned into a shell of it's former self.
Personally, I still find it very useful and fun. It's a Demoknight-only weapon, and it performs that job very well. Ammo -> Charge means that on top of whatever boost the Booties and Shields give you, you always get 50% more charge off a kill, essentially making it very good at chain attacks, especially with the Screen. Claidheamh Mòr was made practically useless.
And even with the grenade launcher, you can pick up ammo now, even if you can't hold a lot. You can hold two loch and load clips which should be fine for dealing with sentries which is the only time you'd need a grenade launcher as demo knight, so I still think it's a great weapon. But rip the weapon no one can pronounce, turned it into a zatochi that can't give you as much health, can't overheal, and makes you more more vulnerable.

Rescue Ranger + Short Circuit + Gunslinger is perhaps the best combo ever. It's not like they all contradict each other when it comes to playing around your sentry or that they all use up your metal at the same time for unreliable close combat. Not at all.

I have 700+ hours of Demoman and most of it came from Demoknight, and with the countless nerfs towards him, playing Demoknight has become extremely painful these days. Which is why I am slowly warming up to playing Soldier more. (and maybe Scout or Heavy)
When you use the Brass Beast, you also have to use a shotgun when you have no time to rev up. Which sacrifices being the savior of medics in favor of getting into the fight quicker.
RE to video: Dead Ringer - I agree in that I despise fighting against a Dead Ringer Spy. Hell, I don't even like fighting with the Dead Ringer. I never could get the timing down and I don't like not being allowed to cloak when I want. I'd take the Cloak And Wait any day over the opossum watch. Cleaner's Carbine - I like using the Cleaner. It's more of a utility thing that I pair with the Sydney Sleeper so I can still have my personal damage boost and be giving my team damage boosts as well. Mini-Crits sure help fill the meter up fast, and I usually stick with the Tribalman's Shiv with it over the Bushwacka. Vita-Saw - I think there might need to be clarification on how it works. The boost needle doesn't start a Medic at 20% Uber. It saves anywhere from 0 to 20% of the uber meter gained from the previous respawn; IE, a medic that uses this and only gets 10% uber before dying respawns with 10% uber. Still, I get what you mean. Phlogistinator - Like the Cleaner's Carbine, I also like using the gun, too. The lack of airblast is just fine with me, since I never could get them timed right or kept up to extinguish allies or reflect projectiles despite practicing. I usually just use it with the Scorch Shot to get safe Mmph build, and then either ambush a bunched up enemy group or coordinate with a Stock or Quick-Fix Medic for offense pushes, fueled by damage denying of two kinds and some guaranteed crits. Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol - Man, I used to like this plus the Baby Face Blaster. The gun(s) suck and I've more or less moved on to just using the Soda Popper with a Winger. A shame, since liked the ground Scout loadout before it got nerfed. Short Circuit - I don't like this one, either. I did try to use it, but it didn't really work out for me. Deleting explosive projectiles certainly helps to have, but I wish it worked better in some way, like it refilling metal per projectile zapped with the alt-fire. Claidheamh Mor - The sword should've stayed as the sword all about charging for miles, rather than being a mish-mash of different things. Rocket Jumper - It's a practice weapon for getting good at explosive jumping, just like the Demoman alternative. It's there for training or a joke. Not much else, really. Anyway, that's my long form response.
DRWATF35 Fair point. Brass Beast - I use it only for MvM or for purely defending by means of raw DPS, helped by a Kritzkrieg or other crit/mini-crit effects. I prefer the Tomislav or Stock over the Heavy Sentry gun, and I tend to not play Heavy anyway, unless I feel like pushing a point or holding a point.

By that logic the SVF could be seen as "useful" when paired with the Phlog since it helps build MMMPH. The Manmelter is a terrible weapon and the Phlog is outclassed by literally every other one of Pyro's primaries. The Phlogistinator is a gimmick weapon. If it werent for the lack of compression blasting, the Phlog's signature MMMPH crit would have been nerfed into the ground ages ago. However, it's Pyro's signature air blast that makes him the game's duelist class. Pyro can ambush, lead frontal assault, extinguish teammates, reflect projectiles, and is surprisingly mobile when Flare or Detonator jumping. Taking away air blasting removes half those gameplay mechanics and cripples the other ones since the Manmelter is the ONLY Flare gun alternative with extinguishing capability. While yes, the Phlog can deal some serious damage, it absolutely neuters Pyro's kit and honestly, it makes him worse at what he alone is capable of doing.

While yes, the Dead Ringer can be annoying in some situations, its not the worst "weapon" in the Spy's arsenal. I would say the Enforcer deserves it more than the Dead Ringer, as its basically a direct downgrade to the stock Revolver in most situations that would need more buffs to be a good sidegrade to the Stock. The Dead Ringer may need a little nerf like a longer blink time or something along those lines that would make it a little easier to track Dead Ringer Spy.

Agreed. The Huo-Long Heater was probably the worst Heavy weapon back then as it basically did the same as the stock but worse, now its an OK weapon that may need a few buffs like after a meter is full, your bullet deals afterburn. The Brass Beast now is the worst Heavy weapon, the 20% damage resistance while spun down and under 50% health isn't to bad but the slower spin up and movement speed really makes this weapon not as fun and that 20% damage bonus isn't the most noticeable. Maybe they could increase the speed of the spin up and movement speed and make you immune to knockback and then it would probably be better.

While yes again, it doesn't do as much DPS as the SMG while under the effects of the CRICKEY meter, you actually do more DPS than the SMG which kinda makes it balanced, maybe a few tweak here and there to the weapon and also to the SMG, maybe.

Agreed and Disagreed. This weapon is the perfect example of being both OP and Shit, OP in Competitive as you are rewarded for dying which is stupid in concept meaning that you always have an Über advantage against the other Medic who then also uses it for the same reason making it banned in all forms in Competitive and Shit in Pubs as it doesn't really benefit you that much I think. They need to completely rework this weapon like damage dealt is returned as health and an longer Übercharge but at the cost of you dying you can't build Über for about 10 - 15 seconds and a damage penalty to somewhat balance it out.

I would have to disagree with this one cause there is a two worser weapon than the Phlog and that's the Sharpened Volcano Fragment as the Flamethrowers and Flare Guns do everything better than it and the Third Degree and even though its a direct upgrade to stock, the stat is very situational as going melee against a Heavy + Medic Combo is a stupid idea. Although the Phlog may need a few buffs like it healing 50 HP on taunt but increase the amount of damage to get a full meter from 300 to 600.

I would also agree and disagreeand there is another weapon that is much worse than the Pretty's Boy's Pocket Pistol and even with the recent buff, it's still the worst weapon in the game and that's the Sun-on-a-Stick as you can't do jack shit with the damage and even if someone is on fire and the fire resistance doesn't really do anything as you only have 125 health, it should really set people on fire and increase the fire resistance from 25% to 50%. I'll agree with you that the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol is the worst Scout Secondary as the negatives destroy the positives as the Mad Milk does everything better. It should give you on kill more health that can be added onto overheal, taking no fall damage overall, remove the damage penalty but dealing 20% less damage then it would be a good Scout Secondary.

I'm sure sure what to think about Engineer's weapons as all of them now are good and balanced, even the Short Circuit but I can see how boring it can get and maybe not be as fun when you are going against one, especially if you're a Soldier or Demo.

Agreed. Although I would put the Ullapool Caber instead of the Claidheamh Mòr, it didn't deserve any nerfs. It's literally a shittier version of the Half Zatoichi as the Half Zatoichi does everything better. They should give back the increase charge time as it was something that made it unique from the other swords and give it an increased movement speed so it makes it the Powerjack for the Demo which can be good for both Demoman and Demoknight.

Well, that was unexpected. I was expecting either the Mantreads or the confusing nerf to the Bison but the Rocket Jumper?! I can kinda see where you are coming from as it is a gimmick weapon, I mean it is the less threatening out of the arsenal as the model is bright orange, has a silly design and has that sign on the side that proves its a practice weapon and that it was the recent meme on /r/tf2. I think buff it slightly (and yes I did just say that) it could give the Soldier faster movement speed and regenerates 10 health per second to balance out that it doesn't deal any damage, basically like the Soldier's own Alia Bab's Wee Booties/Bottlegger.
Overall, this was a great list that I was looking forward and much anticipated to watch for a long time since you announced it.
However I feel this countdown should've been called "Top Nine Least Favourite Team Fortress 2 Weapons", instead as some of these weapon aren't the worst of the class like the Dead Ringer, the Phlog and the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol.
Brass Beast could ignore the damage rampup that the other miniguns have, so instead of doing half damage it would do 100% right at the start, that start being still 0,4 seconds slower than Stock. However it would become the only minigun that could do full damage instantly while being revved up without needing to prefire, but the accuracy rampup and the slowness would still be the downsides.
People complained that the Phlog effect was too strong, but all it ever needed was a proper charge meter lenght to balance it out. A strong effect that takes a long time to charge up is way better choice than a small spammable fart, and the mmmphf effect is the only reason why people play pyro anyways, it has to be worth using.

Vladax94 Winger isn't widely used because it's not a pickup-and-play -weapon. The user has to clearly know the spots in the map where the extra jump height is actually beneficial to take the most advantage out of it, having a clear plan to use it. I had one fellow 6v6 scout that used it in certain maps, snakewater and gullywash I believe.
May as well buff the thing's ammo/magazine size while you're at it, if you really wanna go all-out with the whole mobility angle.

Weapon Updates: The Short Circuit now has a DBZ-style attack as an alt-fire (2018). The Dead Ringer has been nerfed, the Pocket Pistol has been changed (but not really improved or made worse) and the Vita-Saw has been reworked (2017).

I think even though spy may be pretty weak nowadays, it still is a very important part of tf2. It doesn't matter if the spy doesn't do anything for the entire game, it keeps a constant air of suspense and caution. Now the dead ringer makes this even more evident, it doesn't matter if the spy doesn't own it, there's always the constant fear that the person you just killed may not be actually dead.

You thought the Claidheamh Mor was nerfed badly? You should've seen how heavily nerfed the Persian Persuader was. It went from a weapon that cut your shield charge time in half and all turned all ammo pickups into health packs into a weapon that reduces your primary and secondary ammo by *80%*, they turned the ammo-turns-to-health bonus into ammo-gives-you-more charge and removed the charge time-reduction rate (and ALL of those changes happened during the Tough Break update). It basically turned into a shell of it's former self.
Personally, I still find it very useful and fun. It's a Demoknight-only weapon, and it performs that job very well. Ammo -> Charge means that on top of whatever boost the Booties and Shields give you, you always get 50% more charge off a kill, essentially making it very good at chain attacks, especially with the Screen. Claidheamh Mòr was made practically useless.

And even with the grenade launcher, you can pick up ammo now, even if you can't hold a lot. You can hold two loch and load clips which should be fine for dealing with sentries which is the only time you'd need a grenade launcher as demo knight, so I still think it's a great weapon. But rip the weapon no one can pronounce, turned it into a zatochi that can't give you as much health, can't overheal, and makes you more more vulnerable.

I have 700+ hours of Demoman and most of it came from Demoknight, and with the countless nerfs towards him, playing Demoknight has become extremely painful these days.
Which is why I am slowly warming up to playing Soldier more. (and maybe Scout or Heavy)

Dead Ringer - I agree in that I despise fighting against a Dead Ringer Spy. Hell, I don't even like fighting with the Dead Ringer. I never could get the timing down and I don't like not being allowed to cloak when I want. I'd take the Cloak And Wait any day over the opossum watch.
Cleaner's Carbine - I like using the Cleaner. It's more of a utility thing that I pair with the Sydney Sleeper so I can still have my personal damage boost and be giving my team damage boosts as well. Mini-Crits sure help fill the meter up fast, and I usually stick with the Tribalman's Shiv with it over the Bushwacka.
Vita-Saw - I think there might need to be clarification on how it works. The boost needle doesn't start a Medic at 20% Uber. It saves anywhere from 0 to 20% of the uber meter gained from the previous respawn; IE, a medic that uses this and only gets 10% uber before dying respawns with 10% uber. Still, I get what you mean.
Phlogistinator - Like the Cleaner's Carbine, I also like using the gun, too. The lack of airblast is just fine with me, since I never could get them timed right or kept up to extinguish allies or reflect projectiles despite practicing. I usually just use it with the Scorch Shot to get safe Mmph build, and then either ambush a bunched up enemy group or coordinate with a Stock or Quick-Fix Medic for offense pushes, fueled by damage denying of two kinds and some guaranteed crits.
Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol - Man, I used to like this plus the Baby Face Blaster. The gun(s) suck and I've more or less moved on to just using the Soda Popper with a Winger. A shame, since liked the ground Scout loadout before it got nerfed.
Short Circuit - I don't like this one, either. I did try to use it, but it didn't really work out for me. Deleting explosive projectiles certainly helps to have, but I wish it worked better in some way, like it refilling metal per projectile zapped with the alt-fire.
Claidheamh Mor - The sword should've stayed as the sword all about charging for miles, rather than being a mish-mash of different things.
Rocket Jumper - It's a practice weapon for getting good at explosive jumping, just like the Demoman alternative. It's there for training or a joke. Not much else, really.
Anyway, that's my long form response.

Brass Beast - I use it only for MvM or for purely defending by means of raw DPS, helped by a Kritzkrieg or other crit/mini-crit effects. I prefer the Tomislav or Stock over the Heavy Sentry gun, and I tend to not play Heavy anyway, unless I feel like pushing a point or holding a point.
