Still goes to show that TF2 is still a Timeless Masterpiece. But I still hope this wonderful game does get another update in the future and brings back the spark of the game to make us feel like we’re playing TF2 for the first time again!
Im sure you get nice messages every other day. But as i grow older, learn more about life, fill into adult responsibilites and run out of time for things like games Its your comments and the following you've created that remind me that loving team fortress two is a very viable strategy for life. I remember being in history class learning about the Civil War, and that song came on as the teacher talked about marching songs, and me and my friend who both watched Jerma just looked at each other from across the room and laughed

My first act of kindness was when I was very young (around six years old I think) I was in line for a roller coaster when I heard a girl crying, the ride couldn't accept a person bound to a wheelchair, she was a complete stranger and yet I went to her side and tried to comfort her. Ever since then I have gone out of my way to help people, especially those that are handicapped just to make their lives more bearable.

Tf2 is one of the few games where losing really doesn't feel like a loss, even though some people may push an objective, it's always fun to see people taking the game not so seriously, 2fort matches last for hours even
Rick May would be so damn proud of you, Logan. This perfectly summarises why I and so many others love TF2 to death, all in a beautifully worded package. You're one of my favourite people on this site for a reason.
He used his fight money to herd 2 of every animal onto a boat, and then *BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THEM* "And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a 'zoo'!" Unless it's a Farm...

I’m going to be completely honest I love Team Fortress 2 it was one of the first things that got me into gaming back in 2009 it is one of the games that will always be dear to my heart and I treasure it. The community is nice/funny/toxic and that is what makes it great it may have few updates and slowing down, but what it lacks in that the community makes up for, and the sfm community is a dream and I always hope to stick through and through for this game. Edit: I also want to say Rest In Peace Rick May and what I saw the community do was heartwarming so many soldiers taunting and laughing just to respect one man that made people happy is what I love.
Hey Logan, I gotta say you're the best! Not only did you introduce me to this beloved game and it's community, but also sparked my passion for video games as a whole. You are not the ordinary UA-camr, you are extraordinary and will be on your side till the end of time.
God, I love your videos. I’ve been watching since your top 10 gen 5 pokemon, and I’ve adored your videos ever since. You never fail to light up my day, man.
As someone who's never played tf2 it's always interested me. While games like overwatch and fortnite were more mainstream and popular I've seen this shame and looked at its dedicated fan base. Despite the game being really old people still play it and genuinely care about the game. I know while probably never get it but maybe they should make a tf3. Opening a whole new generation to this series and maybe they will look back and play this.
Tf2 has more to offer i can certainly say that, funny characters, good maps, community servers with their own gamemodes, a physics engine that practically wants you to push it's limits the people and servers you play with can be more diverse than people from overwatch where it's competition from start to finish in that game
There was a amazing community before the free to play update went live, Now it's all scattered to hell with toxic salt. I miss the early days sometimes.
My favorite tf2 moment was when I was dumb and bought a summer key 2019 during smissmas last year... jokes on my retardation cuz now I have a 1/1 strange unusual Engie hat
FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS THE HALLOWEEN RESTRICTION IS STUPID, THANK YOU also now I know you at least will update the top 10 weapons lists when an update comes out (if one does come out soon enough)
i was actually just rewatching your tf2 countdowns today, and i just finished watching this one. i just want to say, this is amazing. you illustrate every point possible and i love every second of it. you really show everything there is to love about tf2. thank you.
A much appreciated discussion of this game’s brilliance. It has been a fucking *brutal* year for TF2. The DDoS bots, Rick May’s death, the near-mythical status of updates of any capacity, the scare of the source code, and the continuing infestation of script kiddies have all had their hand in trying to stop the good times from rolling.
Havent watched you in about 3 years and this appears in my recommendation. One of my favorite old UA-camrs talking about my favorite game, cool to see you again!
I have been waiting for one of these videos for 3 years, and for valve to get it together, so thank you for letting the tf2 community have another great member such as yourself and the people you are showing the game to. Keep up the great work.
R.I.P Rick May Honestly when I heard that Rick May had been behind the Rocket Riding Capitalist that brought me so much joy over the years. I stood up, saluted, and tried my hardest not to cry. I love this game and won’t stop playing until the servers flatline.
Rick May deserves the 21 Overload jump salute for his years of service to this game! It's true what Engie said, this is what it feels like when eagles die. Goodbye good sir, we all know you're rocket jumping in heaven.
I agree with most, if not all of your points. The passion I and many others share for this game is too high to calculate. Which, as you said, makes it all the more frustrating that issues like these exist, and will likely stay. But hey, it hasn't deterred me and many others yet. So, let us keep it that way. Love the vid, btw. (R.I.P Rick)
i watched your top 10 tf2 classes the year you published it before i even had a computer or steam to play tf2 on, and like 5-6 years later i watched your 2nd version of that video with about 800 hours of tf2 under my belt and i couldnt help but laugh throughout the video, not even for bad reasons. glad to be back for what technically is a 3rd installment
This was a video sorely needed by the community u really gave me even more love and life for my favorite game thank you so much for putting more light on tf2 in such a dark time for the community
you'd be hard pressed to name an online game that left such an impact and garnered such a remarkable legacy as tf2, honestly. like legit!! i can't even name many games that even hold a candle to its greatness, and if valve really abandons the game i hope they at least utilize its amazing cast of characters in future projects. it'd be a shame if we never saw them again
Don't worry, the tf2 devs on the hl-Alyx team said they're going to be working day in and day out on a new update. Also, winglet's recent sfm, "Sniper runs out of ammo" is a goddamn masterpiece. Short? Yes. Masterpiece? Also yes.
Oddly enough it was thanks to you and of all things, The Brony Reviewer Community that got me to finally play this game. My favorite class is the Heavy of course.
I played a match recently and we were stuggeling to take middle. Someone had the great idea to go heavy but out of a full team of 16 of us... no one looked at the timer... so as our all heavy group was approched the controll point... he heard our one weekness. "5... 4... 3.. 2... 1" at that moment, the match ended with a team of heavys missing the capture area but like a few frames and everone just bursts out laghing... "HOW DID THEY KNOW OUR ONE WEEKNESS such counter play" but it was great and everyone clearly was just enjoying the goofyness of it all. In any other game if something like that happened I'd think they'd be calling there team mates noobs or something.
11:30 Probably one of the least discussed core aspects of TF2, that sets it apart from most other FPS games: stripping down the core mechanics of the standard FPS unit, bunching those that fit together into a role and then creating a unique specialized yet malleable character out of it. This makes individual skill play an important role whilst class choice still matters. If they all had the same core mechanics, they'd be too same-y. As long as the player knows how to play, they can pick any class and win. If they only had one mechanic, they'd be overspecialized. As long as the player chose the right class, they could play terribly and still win
I love the community sometimes. Nothing feels better than those moments where a friendly Heavy gives you his sandvich, or a friendly Pyro airblasts the fire off you. But in particular I love server wide dancing, where Red and Blu come together to dance like idiots. Those are the shining moments in this game to me.
Thank you for this masterpiece, Fawful's Minion. Many people say 'X is a timeless classic', but I for one feel that this game is one of the few that have actually earned that title. May your hats forever burn with plasma, and may your Sandvich never run out.
You absolutely nailed the reason I've been playing this game for the last 7 years, it's just so unique, infinitely replayable and has the some of the highest skill ceiling out there. The charm this game has never wears off. If you're reading this comment, I'd love to play a round with you someday!
Rest In Peace, Rick May. You will always be remembered forever! “You were good son, real good. Maybe even the best!”-Rick May as Team Fortress 2 The Soldier Go and rest in that never ending skybox! TF2 is a Universe full of Grandness. It has changed the lives of so many people, to the point it can bring me to tears! The community should make a item (weapon, cosmetic or hat) in memory of Rick May! That is what I love about TF2, it is the big community! And the brotherhood. Long Live Team Fortress 2! And to Rick May, his friends and family, we give our sincerest wishes!
I'm surprised he also didn't mention anything about the community's involvement in it, like all the workshop hats, maps, gamemodes, and weapon are absolutely wonderful.
First Rick May, then the whole Source code got hacked. Things have not been good recently. I don't play this game anymore, but damn. Hope things get better
TF2 hit a record high for players, and the source leak didn't do much, it was from 2016 RIP Rick May, though. Nothing can fill the void that was the amazing voice of the Soldier.
RIP Rick May. You're free now. Speaking of Soldier, it would be nice, if they ever make a 3, to let him actually use his grenades. Y'know give everybody a fourth weapon.
Despite its flaws, TF2 will always be my go-to time waster. I very much doubt it'll happen, but I hope to see you on the battlefield one day soon, Mr. Minion!

i love his wheeze when he sees the black box made of cardboard
God the amount of improvement's to Fawful's Animations is soo GOOD honestly a great vid on TF2
Rest In Peace, Rick May.
You will always be remembered forever!
“You were good son, real good. Maybe even the best!”-Rick May as Team Fortress 2 The Soldier
Go and rest in that never ending skybox!
I've struck platinum. Why? This was video was delivered on my birthday! Great timing FM. Keep up the good work you lovable lima bean!
"A fun pretend war. Not like 'Nam, more like NOM NOM NOM"
That's a fucking good line.
This is why l keep playing TF2. Live Long,TF2
R.I.P. Rick May. You are the best
Rip Rick May; May he forever Rocket Jumping in the stars
I'm surprised he also didn't mention anything about the community's involvement in it, like all the workshop hats, maps, gamemodes, and weapon are absolutely wonderful.
first time im seeing your channel and the quality is absolutely astonishing, your voice work is amazing man
Love you videos been a tf2 fan since 2013 and I play it regularly
First Rick May, then the whole Source code got hacked. Things have not been good recently. I don't play this game anymore, but damn. Hope things get better
We're all fine here
TF2 hit a record high for players, and the source leak didn't do much, it was from 2016
RIP Rick May, though. Nothing can fill the void that was the amazing voice of the Soldier.
RIP Rick May. You're free now.
Speaking of Soldier, it would be nice, if they ever make a 3, to let him actually use his grenades. Y'know give everybody a fourth weapon.
I love the Jerma reference at 0:31
There actually is music when ur playing matches but only for medics it plays when u Uber charge but is a little faint
Despite its flaws, TF2 will always be my go-to time waster. I very much doubt it'll happen, but I hope to see you on the battlefield one day soon, Mr. Minion!
