i swear this works like magic and i don’t understand it lol coming from a girl that runs almost every day for xc and track, and i get shin splints and runners knee ALL the time it’s crazy how this works
Am trying it now
Didn't think this would help so much. I was in so much pain and this made such a difference!
As an athlete that often injures myself from training because of the impact and intensity, I finally decided to buy these tapes for the first time and give them a try, can’t wait to see how it feels and the results
Tell us about your experience with Kinesio Tape. Does it help you?
@@SuhailkcOfficial it helps but u MUST get the correct type. I got the cotton type at first and they dont stay on for long, if u sweat or shower, they will come off very easily. But i saw KT tape sells the “extreme” type thats water proof and stays on much better even if u run or workout
@@yijuntey same
I got the precut KT tape in the color pink. It was $10 at the grocery store. I somehow pulled a muscle in the bend of my elbow crease. I do not know how because it was so fast that it happened. I had to cut the tape because it was too long for my arm. I put the tape at the start of my muscle pain and ran the tape down my arm to my wrist. Because my instructions in the box didn’t say anything about arms. So I looked at the human diagram of the different places to put the tape. Online says can leave on for 3-5 days depending on the placement of the tape. I never used KT tape before so I don’t really know how it works.
Me and my girlfriend was extremely sceptical.
But fact of the matter is, for us, it helps.
It support the tired out muscle strains, and lower the pain.
The Way we use it (remember to do your own research) is to 80% stretch the tape over the muscle tendons that needs support.
Remember to Apply it in a Way that follow the muscles normal movement patterns, so you dont Strain the muscles further.
Also remember to supplement with a healthy protein rich diet, rest and physical therapy to get your muscles, tendons and bones back in fighting shape.
Wow, it works!
I use it for my knee pain and really helps.
This really works!!
I’ve had a stroke and due to that I have no circulation in my left arm will I get any benefit out of this?
KT Tape does help support my knees when I run. It helps control the movement of the joint and the kneecap movements. KT tape alone is not a complete answer to joint pain. You have to stretch and exercise the joints and muscles and allow enough time for recovery. For example, at my age, I allow one- or two-days recovery time after a running day. You also have to eat right and rest and listen to your body. Never force a workout through pain or you will make things worse. But I have found that KT tape is a must when I run.
IT band problems?
Where can I get some
I've read using Friar's Balsam underneath helps keep it on for days, even through showering.
I’ve kept mine on for a while day haha I showered and the glue is still stuck to my skin
I hate to be naysayer (actually I love being a naysayer) but any kind of athletic tape will serve the purpose. At $13 a roll, it is an expense. I've even heard of hikers using duct tape in an emergency.
Steven Torrey I found precut KT tape in 4 different colors at my local grocery store near the different medical braces/sleeves. It was $10 the other KT tape they had was $16.
the one i have is not name brand but it’s still kinesiology tape and it was 8 dollars
Walmart sells their brand of KT tape but it’s just under $5.00. It works like the name brand.
How long do I leave it on?
Just took mine off, it ripped my skin off 🙃
What did you expect? It's called tape hahahaha
I’m just here cus I was at a track meet and I saw some girls wearing these
シSpoon
Us people LOVE KT tape, not only it looks good and bright. It helps up a lot!
Idk what I did to my shoulder but that bad boy is swore! I used this and it worked faster than ADVIL !!!!!!!
i know this video is old but i have a light rotator cuff strain, could this tap e help me out?
Jacob Saadoun .... Did you try the tape? I see it's been a year! I have regular tape on my thumb and hand! I have a trigger thumb on my right hand! It hurts. I taped it up! It seem to help. Still some pain but not like before! Did you see a doctor 😷 yet? Good luck! 💒⛪⛪📖📝📜📚🌈🌈🌈🐑🐏🐏🐏🐏 🇺🇸
Yes
*IT STUPIDLY WORKS!!!*
*DON'T ASK HOW.....JUST TAPE IT!!! LMFAO!!*
It worked for my heel pain
Do you still have your heal pain, how long did you wear the tape for?
I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, will it work for those?
@@DanTheMan27 most definitely!!! That’s what I use it for.
what s its durability. when it can b removed,i mean after how many days?
about 1 day
Does it really work?
Hellyeah
Is it good for upper thigh and groin pain?
Yeah
Hi can i ask does it have menthol effect?
No
Too bad, my skin is allergic to this tape & all kinds of fabric tape. Can only use none sticky bandage wraps or brace.
OK BUT HOW DOES IT WORK
Can I do this for glute injuries as well
Yes, this is one of the reasons for why I bought it and used it today
@@allanreyes4899 how do you use it? I have sit bone pain. How should I tape it there
Buttered toast.
Ok I saw a athletic pt that put tape on my back because of knots between my shoulder blades. She told me to keep it on for 3-4 days. I lasted till I made it to the car and ripped it off because it itches. Who the hell really keeps it on this long?
I think its a big old scam, but im gonna give it a go for my tfcc injury. Ive used it is the past and didnt notice any change but hey, its expensive.
Wha did you think?
May I ask if that's a crow with green eyes as your photo??
Im just curious..
This is a great video, and I mean no disrespect...but you're using KT tape and talking about Kinesio Tape. They are two different brands & the tensions are not the same. Very informative though!
She meant Kinesio Tape from Kinesiology not from the brand....
What a bunsh of Hoggwash
KT is also my initials....lol
I just wear tight fit clothing
feel like its a scam
The benefits apart from perhaps a placebo effect are NONE.
Diggnuts- except for maybe lifting the fascia and returning the function of the lymphatic fluids...crucial bit you've missed there
Diggnuts man I only wish the countless pro athletes that wear the tape knew as much as you!
ImagoMagus and the countless doctors, trainers and physical therapists who are paid good money to take care of these professionals don’t know shit either.
If it makes people feel more reassured and confident then so be it....
@@mohamedorayith4626 Well, it also makes people doubt facts and promote nonsense. Those are not good things.
Don't like this brand. My daughter uses it and it only lasts a few hours. The edges start to unstick!
That’s how mine is. Only on one corner of the tape is lifting up and not sticking.
Just curve the corners before you apply it
@@emkajee_5237 and be careful to only touch the paper backing. Skin oils negate the glue.
What a load of balls! Re education of muscle lol. Activate or deactivate a muscle.
Doctors have been trained it this! What a fad.
It is nothing more that a placebo.
*Best placebo EVER, LOL!!*
Shut up.
It can’t be applied incorrectly because it’s all a scam
You are using KT and not Kinesio Tape which is a registered trademark. You are illegally infringing on that trademark.
Nobody cares dweeeeb
Benefits? None! Unless you are the one selling it. What a scam.
You are a Liar with vested interests in denying this to sufferers. It does work. May you need it and swallow what you spewed.
0:15 Athletic?
if there was a benefit for performance it would be forbidden.
As an athlete that often injures myself from training because of the impact and intensity, I finally decided to buy these tapes for the first time and give them a try, can’t wait to see how it feels and the results
Any results?
@@kaser4886 honestly im not sure if im doing it rigjt. I can feel the support when i put it on but they don’t stick to my skin so well and usually only lasts like less than a day. I’ve tried a few taping methods for the ankle that i saw on youtube and my ankle problem still persists. I wouldnt say this is conclusive tho, since I haven’t used it for long enough yet, but I do believe it provided some sort of help
@@yijuntey all right cool thanks
