Thank you sir for actually showing how you wired up the lights and not skipping that part. I had a few ideas myself but i like the add a fuse method a lot more than tying into the headligths.
Thanks to you me and my father had a really good time working together… first time seeing your videos and you make everything easier for us I appreciate it and I will recommend you to people
Excellent guide, I'm just waiting for my lights to do the modification… I couldn't find a video of you explaining how to put the cubes lights that you have near the windshield wipers, can you show how to do it please🙏🏻 Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much for this!! My instructions from CaliRaisedLED had me putting it into the wrong fuse. Which would keep showing the check engine light. Well done sir! It’s all complete now on my 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro Electric Lime in the 6-speed manual 😎
What location did you use for the add a fuse? I don't want to use the INJ location but would like the raptor lights to say on when the truck is started.
The headlight switch, since he has them wired into the headlight fuse. They can’t be switched on by themselves. They can be wired that way; but it’s not how he did it here.
I'm curious is to why you just didn't connect the new ground terminal to the actual negative fender connection ,of which the battery neg. terminal is part of.
@@GearheadJT I tried to delete my comment, I was mistaken , another video had the person using another ground location. My apoplgies, I commented on the wrong video. NP, Thank you. You did a nice job, well done.
Mine came out with 15amp as well but I’ve heard you are supposed to use a smaller number on top like a 5 amp and the fuse you took off you put it on the bottom of the add a fuse.
@@aaronS795 use a different fuse, use a volt meter to check which fuse draws power once the vehicle is on. This is make it so if the car is on the lights will be on regardless of the headlights.
@정재이 Because its a nicer looking grille "dommy". What do you think TRD is fairy dust!? it's just a series of add ons to a stock Tacoma so the stealership can upsell to suckers like you.

This is the most thorough add-a-fuse tutorial I’ve come across. Thanks for taking the time! The Ambers on my 2019 sport are lookin sweet
For a novice guy. What fuses go into the add a fuse?
Yo this is probably the best tutorial for this mod. Why the hell doesn't if pop up #1 when searched for it!

Awesome video man. Great job. Thanks
Thanks for the tutorial!!! For some reason my passenger light doesn’t not work now…. Any trouble shooting advice?
Just bought this for my taco, thanks for the info!
Thanks, nice and easy to follow video 👍

Does have to be a specific Ring Terminal for the ground ?
great video, i would've taped add a fuse not use a cig. lighter over the battery.
Just curious, how did you close the fuse cover tight with that wire going into the box?
I would like to know that too..without pinching the wire?
My question as well
Do the grille lights only turn on at night time when the headlights turn on or should they be on automatically when I turn on the truck?
How did you close the fuse box without damaging the wire or cutting the box?
Fr I just snapped mine in half lmao
Why do the lights you used clip in differently than your linked lights?
After i installed mine, the right headlight doesnt work? What am i doing wrong?
What size of ring terminal?
Probably a dumb question but you took out a 10 amp fuse what fuse size were added?
Same, used an add a fuse with 2 10amp fuses.
Which lever or button is used to turn on these lights?

Nevermind I see the link now....bit they out of stock sold out where else can u get a good one

That's what I did with the install, you can see it at 9:01

Nice!
What size ring terminal
Hi my friend I lording some new today thanks no I want to install led on the bottom with color
can you pair extra lights like 6 to this system
Where did u get the splicing cable that goes to the fuse box ?
You can get them at most parts stores. Just make sure they are the mini fuse type.
I don't see any links where u bought yours
What size ring terminal did you use
Wouldn’t the wires still get pinched ?
I noticed you were running a 25 amp fuse with the 10 amp. Any issues? Mine came with a 15 amp and I was wondering if that would cause any issues.

What did you use?
@@beptex2858 You can use that 15a, it should be fine. I put a 10a in mine.
yeah but your fuse box lid still aint snapping shut. you better hope you dont get water
where did you get the add a fuse and the end connectors
You can get them at any auto parts store.
Do these run with the daytime running lights or just the headlights?
depending on where you place the add-a-fuse, it could be whichever one you decide. Just need to place it in the appropriate spot in the fuse box
Where did u buy your TRD pro grille kit at
You can get them from Garage Alpha Off-Road
I chose the Whites! voodoobluetacolife19
Also a great choice!!
It s not trd pro ?!?why copy~looks dommy~.
Honestly i add them for extra visibility so other drivers can see my truck clearly at night especially on the highway.
What could you tap into that would would keep the LED's on all the time even when the headlights are off?
