Dash Cam is a necessity. Currently, only Car enthusiasts know its importance. But in my opinion, general public having Car of any class should have Dashcam in it... be it an Alto or a Fortuner...

बहुत तकलीफ हुई वीडियो अगर स्कूटी वाले की चटनी बन जाती तो बहुत सुकून मिलता क्योंकि ऐसे लोग दूसरों की जान की परवाह नहीं इसलिए जितनी जल्दी धरती से चल जाए वही समाज के लिए बहुत अच्छा होगा
4:56 to 4:59 Pretty sure Kalpesh Ji were fed up with chapris and decided to give them a lesson. I drive in city and this things happen so usually that you automatically brake when someone is at either corner of your bonet(Driver's POV). I dont recommend anyone do this as all it does is waste your time , scratches your car , gets police involved sometimes , in some cases they turn violent. Take care of your safety and avoid such goons cause your life is worth more than an arguement. Stay safe :)

I'm from Nepal and its same problem here also. The main problem of India and Nepal on Road traffic is lack of Traffic education to license holder everyone can get driving licencse by practicing for few days but main challenge is to drive on busy road most people dont know how to overtake , signal and mostly chapri riders are the main cause of accidents.

1st incident - kindly let them go even if you are right. Defensive driving is just as important as dashcam.
2nd incident - same happened to me in hyd, right in front of police and right turn signal was red. He started blaming me immediately but police knew what happened and didn't even ask me for my dashcam. The chapri didn't even have a license and left quickly after the police started lecture.
Ye badi badi gaadi chalane wale jyadatar gaadi wale, financially to iske kabil hotey hain but mentally iss gaadi ke kabil nhi ban paate. Inka ego hurt ho jata hai jab koi inhe over take karten hain.

DashCams - A necessity in India, BANNED where I live unfortunately! Anyhow, all that we can see in the two videos, no one gives a damn about right of way! The SUV was absolutely nonchalant about what's coming from behind and disregarded the right of way for the vehicle behind him in his rightful lane... and for the so called COOL DUDES on that Scoot.... senseless, brainless boys... who comes to take a U turn from the left cutting into the lane of another vehicle!!! Well, time is right to start slapping fines on these elements and stop blaming bigger vehicles in case smaller vehicles are involved in an incident... The General Public need to understand now that it is the job of the Traffic police to decide who is at fault and not to mob bigger vehicles and start acting on behalf of the traffic police!
I was a victim back in 2009 when I came for a vacation and an errant biker just came from an inside road at a high rate of speed, straight into the front left hand corner of my car and a collision was unavoidable! Public started slamming the car windows and damaged the body of my car and I stayed confined in my vehicle till the police came and dispersed the crowd. Fortunately for me, I could explain my part well and my tyre brake lines said it all and the biker had to give in and move off. But the damage to my car... lost its originality and ultimately, sold it off never ever to buy one in India. Since then I prefer getting into an Uber'd instead.. no more driving in India for me, ever! I have enough driving pleasure where I live, in a strict disciplined traffic environment and yet I can enjoy the full potential of my V6 and V8 engined cars...

Whatever evidence you have, if a car hits a pedestrian or a bike rider, the car guy will ALWAYS be blamed. The bigger the vehicle the more the blame. That is the principle.

The most annoying problem that I am facing from these past few months while driving is these chhapri bikers riding with hazard on. They don't even know why the company has given hazard in the bike. They think its cool. And turn whichever side they want without disengaging the hazard. Its really annoying.

When the driver is trying to concentrate on the road ahead don't distract him with flashes of the highbeam, please. That is pathetic practice. Position yourself so that the driver ahead can see you in their ORVM then honk a couple of times to get his attention, if there's nothing immediately ahead he'll pay attention to you. But if there are sudden obstacles ahead and then suddenly he has to deal with your stupid "passing" man, goddamn.
