How To Set Up Beyond ATC

- Beyond ATC was just recently released and this guide is here for those of you that may be struggling to install and set up the program to get it working properly for Microsoft Flight Simulator. I hope it helps those of you that are struggling and don't hesitate to ask question in the comments.

When I go to the Options / Audio it says in red "No Microphones Detected" -- I am using a USB Corsair Gaming Headset wich is selected as my Default Sound Device in Windows - would appreciate any Comment/advice to solve this problem
I'm not really sure what could be going on there. It's always worth trying to fully restart your PC (not just shut down then turn back on). If that doesn't work, you could try repairing the files by running the installer again or fully uninstall then reinstall. If it still doesn't work you'd probably have to go to one of the support pages on the Beyond ATC discord where you can submit it as a bug for fixing in a future update and ask the whole community if they've experience anything similar and have a fix.
@@RattlesnakeAviation I have managed to solve this frustrating problem - for some reasom windows 11 had Disabled the microphone on my headset but left the earphone reception on - not yhe remotest idea why - thank you for your efforts to help - much appreciated
What about in MSFS? Nothing to do in the sim?
No, all you need to do is make sure the app is launched and your flight plan is filed.

@@willynanita Yes, sorry my mistake. You'll should mute the default ATC by muting "Voices" in the audio tab of your general setting and you'll probably want to turn off subtitles in the accessibility tab as well if you have them enabled. If you don't it probably won't have too much of an impact unless you accidentally press one of the buttons in the ATC panel but whenever you tune ATIS you'll hear both the Beyond ATC ATIS and the default one which can be quite annoying.
