I have to say BATC made it easier for ATC. What hold me back for so long with Vatsim was the inability to understand what was said, and to reply to controllers . After years of trying and learning I finally got the confidence to converse with the correct phraseology. However ongoing practicing is the key word with ATC.
Hi Mark, Absolutely love your videos. They have been very informative and really helped enhance my flight sim experience. I have one question which I’m hoping you can help with. In relation to ATC how do I get rid of the written word in ATC transmissions. This tends to detract from the whole experience. I’m capable of remembering the read back transmissions and if I need it I can turn it on, but at this point I would like to turn it off. Thanks again for your flight sim input.
Hi Mark, thank you for your reply. I may not have explained it very well. It’s the ATC readbacks I’m trying to remove from the screen. Does that make sense?
Great stuff mark! ..very interesting , really like what im seeing in "BeyondATC" ..not that ive used any sort of ATC what so ever! 😮 but it looks good. Nearly fell on the floor laughing at 8.20 into the video . Ps. How do you learn all this stuff! ..i mean the range of your videos is amazing.
Mark (Marc?), this video is brilliant. Radio work is one of the most difficult things when learning to be a pilot. This content serves as a great reminder of the basics. The last bit had me laughing as that's exactly what it can feel like if not prepared.
Very helpful video Mark, I've had Beyond ATC for a week, and it is helping overcome my fear of using VATSIM. Videos like this also help tremendously. I don't hear well so the more I can learn about how to communicate with ATC, the more I can anticipate what they are saying to will in the blanks.
Mark, you continue to take the mystery out of the MSFS, I have been lerry about getting started with the interaction with ATC, the new software and your encouragement anfd guidance are. making this proces much easier and increasing my sim flying . Please keep up the famntasitic service.
Good ATC is a welcome addition to my sim. It can only get better over time 😊
One price, subscriptions for units of characters, meh. I hope it works out for them and they sell it to Microsoft as a "feature" in MFS2024

Just minimise the ATC interface and you can’t see it. If using BeyondATC make sure always on top is not activated.
