It's better than your typical time travel/loop story where the plot is usually some sort of secret military soldier did something shitty like murdering or betraying someone years ago so now they come back to get revenge.
The end is incest. The end.
i've never laughed so hard at something that has caught me so off guard as kevin flushing the keys down the toilet for no reason, the thing that makes it even better is the character doesn't say ANYTHING at all about it.
What really got me was “now my wife’s going to die because I already used the switch”, followed by the muffled thud. Peak comedy 10/10

I always like to play with my imagination, like, I flush everything down the toilet and sit in an empty house and just like meditate like a monk and live a super breatharian yoga guy lifestyle trying to escape the cycle of hatred and pain and transcend into bodhisattva in the Bardo loop and constantly being reborn more patient every time until he snaps and just chooses the path of shoot Willem in the leg and flush the gun and phone
Very advanced character development, he goes deep when he sacrifices his material objects to serve spirit
I just wanna say that flushing down specific items (like the key) makes the mc giggle a little. They knew someone'd do it

I was talking to my friend about that. Groundhog day is scary enough, being stuck in the same day, in the same town, repeating. But at least in Groundhog Day, Phil had the whole town, and a whole day to do things. In this, you're stuck in your small apartment, for 12 minutes, over and over again.

I heard for some repeating the same stuff/dialogue was a negative for the game but tbh it was perfect: repeating the same 12 minutes of your live over and over is supposed to be madness inducing, including us the player. However some things change; the fact you don't jolt at the lightswitch anymore, can skip past your wife's greeting is brilliant. Overall, great game :D

Yeah, and that’s what we’re talking about. In the first time to you flick it once you can see he gets an electric shock and then he jolts backwards, afterwards he no longer does it once you reset. But we obviously aren’t talking about the second flick, cause that obviously happens, cause he dies.

Believe me when you play it for the first time with no prior knowledge it can drag on a bit but overall a good little game BC you can get it for free on gamepass

The top-down view is a cool twist on the point-and-click adventure game. I grew up playing the Nancy Drew games, so I love to see this type of game!

Getting Kevin - or content creators similar to his style to play your game is a pretty smart move from game Devs considering he almost never finishes them/plays them the way you're supposed to play them.
As a consumer, your interest gets piqued but not satisfied, so you have to get the game yourself. (Or just watch another LP)
@roasted pancakes Tbh I've seen the full game and it's definitely the sort of thing that Kevin would get bored of eventually (since it requires repeating the same steps an extreme amount of times in order to reach the true ending).

@@kopii00 You need to understand that times have certainly changed and so did UA-cam. Let's plays used to be popular back when UA-cam wasn't so corporate, and when that particular niche wasn't so saturated until now. You can "technically" do let's play videos, but live stream is more popular these days. On top of that, if you're a content creator trying to make some money on YT, you have to try to appeal/win UA-cam's algorithm to have your video show up on people's recommendation/search not to mention you also have to deal with the competition since some of the well established content creators already have early access to the game. UA-cam used to cater all content creators, but nowadays, it's algorithm only picks certain favorites and winners.
Also most people just don’t have the patience for watching LPers these days. They’re very niche now
Imagine the real plot twist you’re supposed to figure out being a body or bodies flushed down the toilet, and Kevin discovers it within 5 minutes of playing
