    Watching this video made me wanna share what I've been through, so If you're just scrolling by, reading comments, don't mind me haha, I just wanna open up and let all the things and emotions that I've been bottling up.
    As a teenager and an upcoming senior high, there's a lot of things I am facing, such as procrastination, trying to build my time management due to a lot of thing's that I needed to do, additionally I have a wack of a mental health, school, stress, trying to help my family, taking care of my sibling and many more. If my memory serves me right, I have been trying to fix myself for the past 2 year's?? maybe a year and a half. I watched so many self improvement video's, only to end up not following most of them. Most of those self improvement video's I have watch all said the same thing..."JUST DO IT"...and, yeah I tried that, I only lasted a week though, then I go back to how I normally used to be, always on my phone, always quiet, doing everything in the last minute, many unhealthy things. With these happening to me, I only ended up going back to the same place, being the same person, I didn't change, after watching all those self improvement video's and barely executing what they all said there, it became a cycle, I just went in circles it resulted to made me feel discouraged and extremely negative. Thank God there were times I was happy and positive. But that lasted only for a short while, then I went to how I was normally am. So it made me wonder, it made me think, "If all these "self improvement" guys say "JUST DO IT", then HOW? ... How in the world? am I gonna do it?". So with no answer, I gave up.
    With my "addiction" scrolling in social media, from time to time I have always seen Jun Yuh's content pop up, I've read his caption's from his tiktok's and insta reels, I believe there were moments that I went "Aha!!" but since I have experienced ending up on the same place, still be the same person, and not change, I just ended up not doing those, but I did ended up saving and liking them ofc. Cuz at that time, I thought it maybe it will be helpful to me in the future. Guess what? I looked up Jun Yuh's yt channel and HERE I AM, this is my second time watching a vid in this channel. Must I say, watching this video and trying to understand it, made me feel like I have a clue now on how to improve myself, along with a sprinkle of hope on the side too. I am extremely delighted that I actually gave myself a chance to look through on what Jun Yuh had to offer. I am deeply grateful that Jun Yuh exists, its such a blessing.
    Since this is my second time watching a vid in this channel, I think I'm gonna follow this vid and take things slow and steady, once again, I am happy that I found something, I found a clue (I somewhat call this video a clue haha, pls don't mind)
    with all that.......that's about it lolololol
    Jun Yuh keep up the good work!!!! Thank uu so much for making vids like these, looking forward to watch more of your videos when I managed to follow and consistently execute the System in this vid!!!!!!

      Hey, I just wanted to say I'm proud of you and I admire your willingness to share and be open. Your awareness of self and the cycle your in is the most critical step to move out of it. You may not see it now, but you're in a position for success. Gain momentum by doing the absolute most smallest chunk, see how good it makes you feel, and slowly stack bricks over time. A concrete example - I've been going on 5 minute walks in the morning before work. This small accomplishment shows me that I can commit to something, which then leads me to eating a healthy breakfast, which then leads to me having good energy for my work in the morning. One choice can impact your whole day no matter how big or small. You've got this my friend!

    Hi Jun! I was just wondering how managing time works when your health is not in its best state, especially in assessment period. There is this awful sense of pressure, so would blocking time out for mindfulness or just a nap be effective? Or would you prevent your health from getting to that stage the next time you have assessments?
    This was probably not mentioned in the video and I was a bit unclear about it.

  • @laurabaghel786
    @laurabaghel786 5 місяців тому +2

    I have tried time blocking and scheduling a day before so many times now but it's not working. I feel like if I put something in my calendar for the next day I'm more likely to not do those things. But I still need direction and plan for what I'm going to study that day.
    If you have any techniques that work for this please share Jun. I would really appreciate it because I have my exams in a month.

    How do you know how much downtime you need? It is hard to schedule that and believe it is correct.

    • @quillettt
      @quillettt 5 місяців тому +1

      That's where I think the time auditing goes to play. You can do a time log of the activities you do as part of your 'rest' or 'down time' during your day or week. I think this is easier when you have a consistent schedule or routine day-to-day for yourself. Your circumstances and the stage of life you are in also varies your routine or where your time is spent.
      If you have a family, live with your parents, siblings etc or live alone, this changes your routine. This includes if you work and study at the same time part time, full time or do a bit of both, or work for your self etc.
      Split your time spent each day into offline and online as this may help you better see how you spend your time.
      Hope this helps and this isn't exhaustive being just a guide you could use.
      .
