Nicely done ! I recently built my 3800 but still working on the suspension and other stuff...
sick camaro prob one of the cleanest on youtube
Very nice car!!! I have one too mine its red, but all stock.
I have the same exact car 93 red camero 3.4 liter. Its my daily ita pretty nice to see this
Dude this is sick
@newmanto03 The sucking was the intake, whining was the power steering pump. I hope to have it dynod in the spring.
@newmanto03 The sucking was the intake, whining was the power steering pump. I hope to have it dynod in the spring. I have about $1000 into suspension and $2500 into motor work ( going through a set of valves due to overadjustment). I bought the car for $2500 though.
Good job my friend
Million dollar question my friend...
Car looks clean and well done though
@awgibson93 Don't forget the front spring swap, pcm, fuel pump bc it has a larger volume(even though they operate at the same psi). Engine mounts, transmission bell housing is a 90 degree in V8 yours uses a 60 degree. Drive shaft will break bc it is a two peice. The trans itself will work in a V8 or V6. The only 4L60s that you cant inter swap are the trucks bc they use a 31 count spline and the cars use a 29 or 30. i cant recall.
I started to love the car an then I seen that shifter
@iamlegal2 Not yet, but I did pick up a second off of my 1/8th mile e/t with the 50 shot (only local track they had while I was in PA)
You should try a X-pipe magnaflow on it. It makes it sound like a sports car.
Hey I just bought some y2k rims for my camaro 17" front and 18" back. I'm not worried about the fronts i know they'll fit but any problems with the rears? rubbing or did you use spacers? thanks
@ Ben Barnes please explain to me how much more your new 5.0 costs vs an old 5.7 camaro which still puts up a decent fight.
@Smokie420ish It has the L32 intake. I wasn't aware of the 3400/3500 top end swap at the time, maybe I'll do that in the future.
I have a 95 3.4 red also and I absolutely love those headlights! What are they?
@awgibson93 What intake does it have on it. Stock one from the L32 or is the the aluminum one from the LQ1?
@YoungerPrice Not really, I just wanted my daily driver to have more get up and go. If I wanted to go really fast, I would take the 69 z28 you see at the beginning on the left out.
awgibson93 how much horsepower was it putting out like this?
What else did you do to the motor besides the msd ignition, wires and cold air intake?
@awgibson93 The top end swap would make more power do to the heads being aluminum so they will flow better. As far as your car how much power do you think you got out of this.
what did you do to get the custom head lights for your camaro? and did you tally up the parts cost of the motor build? I have a 1995 3.4L camaro convertible...
Thats nice.
all that work and it still sounds like a 3.4. good looking car though.
shoulda had a v8
hey how do you like your car now with the ls swap compared to the lr1
if you still have the car you should try borla exhaust. but sick set up
Nice dude I have a 95 3.4l camaro and wana fix it up cause this car has been literally abused from its previous owner
Where did you find the exhaust tips?
I run a 1/4" spacer on the rear.
Any idea how much power this engine makes?
Not bad. There are a couple things I think couldve been done slightly better, but otherwise not bad at all. I love my 3.4l. Are you building it just to drag race?
@awgibson93 Also how much did the 5 angle valve job cost.
the 252h worked with the 3.4? would it work for the 95 3.4?
so with all that. Whats it do in the 1/4?
@CANCERCONE not really, I would have to pull my whole cars wiring harness out and start over, and I would rather be one of the few with a built v6 than one of the many with an lt1. If I want power i take the 69 z28 out that you see on the left at the beginning
How much dis u spent on engine parts only?
The shield comes off mines is of right now and these v6s can run I have a 95 3.4l 5 speed
maryland tags huh?? where in maryland do ya live ?? i live in preston, md.. on the easternshore.. i got a 92 firebird.
How much hp?
what kind of exhaust?
why didn't you put that cai into the wheel well?
who makes those pistons?
I would of just done a Buick Grand National motor in it since you got the forged internals already.
did u ever get this dynoed?
my 3.4 blown those little 5.0- 302s away
@CANCERCONE Full coverage for me and I am 20 on an LS1 would be $200+ a month. Ik for a fact liability on a 98 LS1 6 speed is a bout 125 a month for me. Also I have a good driving record.
As for gas you do realize I am talking about the octane level. Where I live $3.85 for 87. A LT1 requires 91-93 octane which is $4.25
@awgibson93 oh i didnt know that its was ur daily drive.i thought u built it up for street racing or something of that nature.im probably doing the same wit my 90 gmc sierra but still tryin to decide on the cam.
props man just need a hefty shot if your gona ra after all that hard work i would hate to get beat my 5.0 or 4.6 stang just sayin keep up the good work
@fastgoat04 Yeah I know lol, the stud is stripped :/
still very similar to the stock z28 exhaust, not that big, pretty quiet too
i cant find halo headlights for a 93
Haha well Im in the process of putting a nice 5.7 in the car, so 4.6's shouldn't be much of a problem
nice shoes ;)
that is how the term originated, but it has evolved to anyone driving a slow car that wants to sound or look fast..... i personally like fast cars that are also quiet, but thats not very common
@awgibson93 Any luck on a dyno yet.
the v6 came with a single exhaust port
I'm thinking of buying one of these guys is it a good car for long roads ?
Yes it is, people give them shit about them but they are really good
So was this ever dyno’d???
The LT1 gets the same mpg if you don't stuff the throttle...well my 383LT1 Bette gets 25mpg cruising.
What brand intake do you have on it
Chevrolet
Id say a stock lt1 would have more power. But really its your car so do as you please but if you put that much cash in a lt1 it would be a monster.
Damn was it neccesary? my car is not lowered at all.
Sooooo its still slower than an lt1 but twice the price, lesser suspension , rear end ect
Lolwut? 2.5" exhaust isnt big at all. FYI the throttle is covered by a shield so the only way to rev the car is to hit the pedal. Thanks for trying to know cars though, it was a cute attempt.
i thought the camera would go tortilla HAHA
I can get to my throttle just fine. I dont have no ware near what u have done to urs. But i have done just a little bit to mine. Come check it out, its a 1994 camaro v6 3.4l let me know what u think.
Your engine is missing two cylinders man, haha. Headlights are dope, tho.
@18Caliber If he is running 14 like he says, I am sorry but a 5.7 LT1 would be beat, 325 horse is good, but a 3.4l is lighter. Just like 3000GT can run 160 and it is a 3.0 DOHC Can beat most LT1's. Though the Gearing Is different. V-6 ftw.
A little advice: Dont delete EGR... the engine really runs smoother with egr cause your ecm calculates with the exhaust gases.
Other aspect: Your exhaust gases still have content which youll see at your average mileage (even with my stock camshaft on my 2.8 firebird, the mileage sank from 18.09 to 15.89 after deleting egr, no joke !!!)
You must consider that even with EGR -> Under full throttle it gets turned off and your engine is able to breathe free and fresh :) only under half throttle the energy content gets used by it
The 3.4l is obd1 and only has 1 wire o2 sensors. The engine really doesn't give a damn whether it has EGR or not. I pulled about 29 mpg with this motor no problem. You need to chill off the throttle if you are only getting 18 with a 2.8
Check out my 3.4l camaro, 3.4l with a lot of specs!
@CANCERCONE Higher insurance and don't forget the higher cost of gas.
auto with the ebrake pulled lol
@sibarra88 Swap the engine. :)
nice angel eyes lol, i wanna put them on my 5.7
This 3.4 isn't fully built mild build maybe.
Why would you waste time with a 6 banger,lt or ls swap it
ok, lets think about something. you have a 5.7l v8 with neither stat being under 300. You have a posi rear differential aka lsd, a ton more weight in the front of the car, and considering you have a worked on v8, im guessing your only concern and experience is going to a drag strip or doing 40 rolls on the highway. and you probably have the suspension set for doing that. youll break the tires loose so easy its ridiculous. youll spin out or plow through a guardrail before you ever even catch up.
its the same engine
Vette
automatic... bad ass car though
wow i just read my comment i spelled like shit i dont have a mustang lol my comment sonded like i owned a stang lol im a proud Formula owner lol
boost.
thats not a huge exhaust, I'm pretty sure it stock lol
Take my 3.4l on in a cat and mouse battle on a backroad. Lets see what an epic fail a 3.4l build is then.
Doesnt sound like it has a cam...
don't be a sell out ! lol. turbo that bad boy!
Send me the header part number
WHY?
Because it's his car and not yours so you should fuck off? That's a good one.
muscleunlimited"OH PLEASE STOP" he cried, "it's such a good one" he also said incredibly sarcastically!
causeimbatmaaan Because I blew it up and had some money to throw at it. The car is LT1 swapped now and probably going to move to a turbo ls1 shortly now.
Ok
all that and no power steering pump 😂
Power steering is right under the coil packs?
awgibson93 I was referring to the fact that it’s whining.
150whp 🤣
Did you just call a Camaro a ricer? An American car is not a ricer lol especially not just because it's a V6. It wasn't made in the rice fields of Japan like a Honda :p
its stupid to do all that work to a v6
Not worth doing this to a 3.4 lol. With all that money you can just buy an ls1
Watch my recent videos and then you'll see what I did.
Ronald Sanpierto and be like everyone else? nah
Who rebuilds a V6? That's not even cool it sounds like shit. Go big or go home.
why so you can lose ? . try building a real motor instead of a weak ass 3.4 v6
What a waste of time and money because its still a slow weak ass v 6 and will never out perform a bone stock lt1 or ls1 what an epic fail
typical ricer..... big exhaust on a small engine.... and you didnt even know where your throttle is- had to go in the car and hit the pedal..... ricers have taken over.......
I can get to my throttle just fine. I dont have no ware near what u have done to urs. But i have done just a little bit to mine. Come check it out, its a 1994 camaro v6 3.4l let me know what u think.
