When do we get the Vice Grip Garage episode, and who's going to host that one? Jess? I'm down no matter who hosts, I want to learn more about Derek and his thoughts and ideas
These guys are about 40 miles north of us here in Coeur d’Alene Idaho and they are absolute legends in just a few years, Got to meet them in 2019 and been a sub ever since
IMO these are the two most real channels on youtube!! Great video and Derik get these guys in a Cleetus race!!!! And a burn out powerwheels would be cool
Oh my god..... A power wheels burnout rig is about the most awesome thing I never heard of and never knew I needed until I read this comment. They would be the perfect crew to build it.
Honda's CBR250RR, and the Suzuki RGV250. They used to say if you got either of those as your first road bike, you had a 50% chance of being dead within the year.
When were you at the TMS wow! I knew puddin was there and you interviewed him. Dang! I have wanted to meet both of yall! Love this series. Great job O'Reillys
Ethan and Edwin, you mentioned your shop space is so small, why not add a piece on? Just an idea! My own shed/shop is roughly 16x20, unfortunately only has a man door at the moment with one window, but it was about $3k to build it (Canadian dollar), that's right before the lumber prices went crazy but was also built with stamped lumber. Could probably do it for about the same with rough lumber, and if you built it onto your existing shop that's one less wall to build! My friend built a small shop onto his home/trailer last year, 16'x30', so two 16' walls, one 30' wall, the other uses the existing mini home wall. Slanted roof to save from buying trusses, and recycled steel roofing from an old barn. 4 vinyl sliding windows, steel door, and insulated for about $6k at the height of the crazy lumber prices. Just ideas for yas, having extra space without having to build a wholeass shop is a beautiful thing. The less a fella has to spend on a building, the more stuff he can be building, and that's worth it to me!
I may or may not have made a promise to step away from UA-cam cause a wise man told me sitting on my ass won’t finish my project now I’m subscribed to a new channel with some really cool looking videos 😂😂 thanks VGG
Oh man! I can totally relate to a Honda CBR250RR!! I've always been a fan of small bore Honda fours and sixes! I had 3 different CB350F bikes over the years, and when I saw the 250-4 offerings from Japan's big 4 manufacturers, I wanted one so bad.😄 Never happened, but it would have been fun to have one, as they would easily run rings around my 350 Four(s) from the 70's.😳😄
The O'Reillys here in caldwell has only been here about 3 years. I like going because I work on all types of vehicles and when you ask for the parts you need they let you see the screen so you could decide I the part they looked up was right or the year of vehicles you are asking parts for is correct.
It makes me sad Derek isn't familiar with these guys, he most definitely would dig the crazy stuff they build. A grind hard vice grip colab would be bad ass
I love your builds. They look like they’re a blast and you guys always look like your having a blast doing it. 🎉 murder scooter was a good one. Keep it up Men.
Hah! I had a 1992 Honda CBR250RR when I was stationed in Okinawa. Started with an 89 NSR250R, which didn't last long(read: rust, plus electrical nightmare), then an 88 CBR250 Aero, which looked like a sport bike, but had a taller riding position (taller is relative thing with a JDM bike) which my girlfriend (now wife of 21 years) learned to ride on and had until we left. Last bike over there was the 92 250RR. ABSOLUTELY the most fun for a 200 pound, 73 inch tall person...NOT. Seriously though, I could put that thing on its ear at will. Spark cut was 19500rpm, but with that many RPM's she'd hit 20k. 4 cylinder's, 4 valves per cylinder. It sounds like ripping cotton at 120 decibels. Was thinking about importing it, but that money was out of my league. Fast forward 2 months later at my next base(Las Vegas), sitting outside one of the 6 DMV's, I hear a familiar sound. WTH(eck)???!! Another Air Force guy swings off his 1993 250RR next to my 82 CB650. "What? How?" Looks over in way cooler officer tone and says "Should've had your movers pack it as a table, in its own box. When it gets unpacked, go to this DMV, and have them add a "0" on the end of the VIN. Either tape the headlights to the right, or get the Euro headlights from over there, get the safety inspection, they hand you a title and tell your insurance company it's a "classic"." My jaw dropped, he wheelies away. Saw it a bunch more times, rode it, too(resyned the carbs for him). Epic noise, and no one has that. Good times!
🇦🇺 My team mate & I campaigned a CBR250RR at Lake Gairdner in South Australia, our Bonneville. It was mounted in a modified VF250 frame but with the CBR wheels/forks/swing arm. It ran an Aisin AMR300 Supercharger on methanol, 4 into 1 stainless exhaust & sounded like a 1000cc superbike ❤. After 5 years, many holed pistons, a blown blower 💥 & numerous other sacrifices to the gods of speed we actually made it to the end of the track & set a record for it's class. By the way, the Japs tell fibs, the tachometer red lines at 18,000rpm indicated but is actually only 16,800rpm measured. Two spare motors that we had in stock are now a 500cc V8 project......
Hey Guys,,Been Watching GHP since the Beginning,, you guys Rock,,I am 59 Watching from Vancouver Island BC Canada,, been building TOYS since my Teens,,, Thankyou Derek fror showcasing these Young Fellers,,, will continue to follow and Support ALL of you,,,
Well, I was born and raised in Montana, and I have never seen a road salted in the winter. We use dirt. Despite being a northern state, the cars there aren't usually rustbuckets.
Derek, if you come up here for a burger and beer with these guys I wanna come, too. Mickduff's has been our favorite place since they first opened. We have a hard time eating anywhere else in town.
Love this definitely a eye opener I thought they did plumbing and finally got to live there dream regardless super cool definitely a goal of mine just build cool shot from nothing to a rock star 🤘🤘🤘
can you do an episode with puddins fab shop and derrick and him i bet would get along the best they to me are the best 2 auto youtubers out there it sure make for a great video and they are both sponsored by ya
They did do a show with Puddin's fab shop it was filmed at cleetus and cars Bristol but they haven't showed it yet I keep asking where it's at but my comment gets erased every time I ask if you watch the episode before this one Derek even mentioned it
I’ve been watching both you guys UA-camrs fight skip garage and grind hard plumbing since the very beginning. I thank you guys so much for awesome content, great entertainment, and some education. What I’d like to know is what did Derek do before he was a UA-camr
Hey Derick ,My Story is Feb 27 1987 6:45 pm on a Friday and a lady ran the red light and I flipped my 1979 Suby 3 times and rapped the roof around the Steering wheel.Had it towed to the garage that I worked at. Then drove it home and it shook like a rattle can.
I just put MickDuff's on my to visit list when I'm in Idaho next month before driving a 75' D100 back home to northern MN! Give me. All the burger suggestions!
The only other good burger joint here in Sandpoint is the Burger Dock, about five blocks from Mickduff's. Whereabouts in northern MN? I'm from Detroit Lakes.
I used to watch these guys all the time but since they changed their dynamic to electric and Chinese and builds that take a year I haven't watched very much of them.

Ok, we gotta be getting close to the Puddins Fab Shop episode that was also filmed during this event, correct? Been waiting for what seems like ages.
They tagged grindhard in the Pott County Legend's photo, he has to be next or I'm gonna freak out...

I just recently found these guys (like a week ago) and subscribed they have some crazy awesome builds! Excited to see this one pop up in the feed.
A couple suggestions I have for interviews are Junkyard Digs/Junkyard Mook and Pole Barn Garage. I enjoy listening to the podcast!
Derek already knows Kevin and Mook.
I never miss either of theses videos.
Great interview. I love the tracks. There used to be horse farms on that property
Oh man! I can totally relate to a Honda CBR250RR!! I've always been a fan of small bore Honda fours and sixes! Smashed it. Such fun.
The world demands that you, Derek, interview Peg of Zip Ties N Bias Plies (rubber horsehead mask optional).
It makes me sad Derek isn't familiar with these guys, he most definitely would dig the crazy stuff they build. A grind hard vice grip colab would be bad ass
Seriously good chat Derek, you seemed to gel well with the boys. I reckon your kids Derek would love to see there projects.
Thanks for your time 😊
Thanks Guys Great Stuff.

@gearhead 79 I remember seeing pudding car in the back ground of the last video with liv
His episode is at this same table. It has to be next.
I’d love to see a sit down with cleetus mcfarland
So would I. It'd me nice to see the balance of power in the big D's favour.
I’ve been watching both you guys UA-camrs fight skip garage and grind hard plumbing since the very beginning. I thank you guys so much for awesome content, great entertainment, and some education. What I’d like to know is what did Derek do before he was a UA-camr
Great Podcast and entertaining
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
Where's the puddin Fab shop video. Is it gonna be next
Derek should do one of these interviews with Ike and John from cars and cameras. That would be neat.
How are my two favorite UA-cam channels on the same video!? More colabs
The spray they use is shrimp prine aka shrimp salt.
McDuffs has some good burgers up there in Sandpoint but their beer is better. Binge watching these segments and these are awesome

The only other good burger joint here in Sandpoint is the Burger Dock, about five blocks from Mickduff's. Whereabouts in northern MN? I'm from Detroit Lakes.
These guys are on the same wavelength. Doin stupid stuff, pretend they didn't see sketchy things and having a good time while doing projects. 😁🤘
Need to have Mortske and Puddin
I think Mortske has beef with VGG, lol
There is a Puddin episode from this same convention. He had the Datsun down there arm swinging
