I’ve always told my kids if anyone makes fun of their weight just say “I can lose fat you can’t become attractive” or “I can change that about me but you will die alone with your ugly a$$ attitude”
Only one of my girls is overweight, the other has a medical issue that causes her to have bowel and bladder issues so she wears pull-ups at 10 (it’s really hard on us and her especially) so she knows how to respond if someone picks in her for it. She is considered disabled due to her condition, so they would be making fun of someone with a disability. Plus she has tons of friends at school. She had been homeschooled until this year. She is almost 10 and in 4th grade. It scared me her going to school, but she is handling it like a champ.

As a plus size woman who is dating a skinnier man, I get judged a lot.. but I don't like the term "mixed weight" because we are just humans and love shouldn't be determined by someone's weight..
Overweight men who date slim women strangely dont get judged too much. As an overweight woman myself, over 49, I could write a book about the differences in being an overweight man and woman!

I'm someone who is overweight and not just some cute chub here and there, I have avoided dating or getting close to people for the last twelve years because of this very reason, I too feel like i cannot exist because of the way the rest of the world makes me feel about how much I weigh, I don't even go out anymore because people have made me feel extremely self conscious because of it. They assume when you are fat that automatically means you are lazy and sit around and eat alot and it isn't always the case. But seeing that wonderful lad genuinely love and stick up for her, even making clothes for her so she can feel beautiful and really loved is something so rare and so sweet, I would hope one day more people could be like him and good on you Daz for what you said too and thank you for the laugh with the whole "you'll still be a c*nt" thing. that was perfection!

When I met my wife I was 430 she was 100, she loved me very much. Being with her was the Happies years of my life. our first idea if a date to test me. Baby let's go walking a few miles my thought oh I'm dead lol. In in my 200s and still going after she passed away. To reach our goal weight.

personality matters wayyyyy more than looks in my opinion. physical/visual attraction is still important to some extent but it all comes down to who the person is on the inside and how they treat you. i would much prefer a caring and interesting 4/10 than a 10/10 with no personality.

Everything Daz said in this video I couldn’t agree more with. Size should never matter when it comes to a relationship. Neither should skin color, hair color, anything. Ofc size matters when it comes to health and u should always watch your health. But that goes for anyone. Not just plus size people.
As someone who is plus size, I swear the worst thing people think you can be is overweight. She literally didn’t do anything to anyone, and they still hate on her.

using the term plus size is a term people use to validate obesity and make it ok. obesity is not ok. being overweight is not ok. track your calories, go run and gym and youll be fine.

i mean generally speaking, being "plus size" isn't a normal body type that is created by genetics, it's a man made body type because people cannot controll how much they eat, yes some body types are a little heavier than others, but you have to put into account how tall the person is, if they have wider hips/heavier top or if they have more muscle than other people with their body type or a smaller one.
not to mention being "plus size" shortens your life, it wears down the cartilage between your knees, elbows, and spine. the fatty tissue around your organs will kill you faster, the fatty tissue around your lungs makes it harder for you to breathe, not to mention it's hard for "plus size" people to fit into spaces that were not made for them because people are not meant to be "plus size"

I dated a plus size man and people would say ‘how’s he done that then’ or ‘why are you with him’ a lot which understandably upset him. Unfortunately as it turned out he was horrible and ended up blaming the fact he was overweight on me somehow bc I loved him as he was, but for me it was never something I thought about. I think insecure people don’t love themselves so they don’t understand why you love them, and people judge because they’re very superficial and don’t understand how others aren’t

But he is right, coming from someone who has never dated someone and constantly judged because of my weight, it sucks being judged because of it and no one cares to know you personally because of it, People want to and are trying to change the way they are, I am and I'm only 16, I know what it's like to be judged but the more you put someone down the more you will regret it because it will lead to 1 or 2 things, 1 = they fight back and prove that they can lose the weight and be happy without you or 2 = it breaks them, eating disorders, bad mental health etc. I unfortunately experienced number 2, don't judge people cuz you never know what they are already dealing with.

As a plus sized person dating a skinny person I don’t really get why people can be so judgmental over something so small. My partner loves the fact that I’m a bit bigger in body shape (obviously she also gets concerned and makes sure I don’t end up with any serious health issues) and the difference between our weights has never been a big problem. Even through secondary school most people either made fun of us or said we were a cute couple. The odd few times we were judged or made fun off it was mostly directed at me and questioning my partner’s standards. I don’t get it.

The thing that pisses me off is when people tell others they're overweight. Like the internet. As if the person has no clue that they're overweight. I know I am a little heavy, and yeah it's embarrassing, but whenever others ask me (politely) how much I weigh, I always tell them and they don't believe me because"I don't look that overweight." I am. Just because I have a curvy figure doesn't mean I weigh less than 200. I just carry it different. Daz honestly makes such good points in the video. I wish more people were taught more like him.

As a fat girl myself, the number of names and things that have been said to and about me, I could probably write my own dictionary with words and definitions. The amount of guys I've date, I can count on one hand. I applaud these 2 for not giving one.single.fuck about what anyone has to say about them being happy together. I'm a short, plus size woman dating a taller, skinnier guy and when we first started going out, I always had this anxiety within me and my intrusive thoughts thinking that others would look at us and think, 'why is he with her?' 'he could do better' and other things like that. But he's really helped me with growing to love myself for me and showing me I am beautiful no matter what and we've been together for over 2 years now and I've really grown to just not care anymore if people do actually think that 🥰💙
