I was 24 and my older cousin, 27, tried to kiss me. I was visiting my aunt after her divorce for support. I was getting ready for bed and I won’t lie, I was wearing short shorts. I wasn’t by any means showing off they were just comfortable. Anyway, he comes into my room and sits on the bed with me and we just start talking because it’s been years since we’ve seen each other. When out of no where he says “Wouldn’t it be so weird if we kissed?” I nodded my head yes. “Yes it definitely be weird. Also I have had a steady relationship of 14 months.” I could see how disappointed he was but I basically kicked him out politely and never told any of my family members.

@@nichole_brandt he was in the process of "recovering" from drug and alcohol use and in most gypsy communities, they are actually quite sexist towards women (old traditions) even some cutting their women off from communicating to the outside world (pretty much Amish beliefs aside from God and no modern tech) so if anything, she was probably forced seeing how nobody seemed to have much of a great fondness at all.
Does it excuse her actions entirely? No, running off with ur cousin in that sense is rly weird, but can u rly blame her knowing she was most likely forced and she more likely than not didn't even get the chance to finish school and get a career and or even be in the outside world at all?
