thats the vid that got me into 40k tho i have yet to start an ork army my love for em is true
@@chaoticspark2639 it was one of my first as well. I watched luetin for arma since like 6-7 years ago but when he started doing warhammer stuff I stopped watching but now I’m into it. Still wish he would do some arma stuff but as long as there is more warhammer stuff it’s all good
"Honorary Ork" best line I've heard so far.
The tragic thing is that even if the muties met other humans, they would be murdered, not saved
Sadly this very likley.
Their only glimmer of hope is some very curious Mechanicus gets to them first and prohibits the Imperial Guard from executing them for the time being. If they'd be somehow proven useful to mechanicus, perhaps they could be... mechanically augmented... and properly indoctrinated into their faction. Considering Mechanicus are not the purest of mutations them selves, I'd imagine first contact will make or break their planetary existence.
It is likely, but not certain. Ogryns are mutants who have been almost entirely integrated into the imperium. If these mutants could prove that they could be useful then it’s possible they get spared.
Their only hope would be that Imperium or Mechanicum get to somehow understand how much loyal and supportive of human race the muties still are, otherwise an Exterminatus may be the other choice once they discover them.
Are they a stable mutation? If so they will just be classified as abhumans.
Orks Shenienigans never stops to amaze me, truly they are living a dream
Shenanigans
I think when describing da orks the first way is ko-wreckt
Yeah, who could blame them for being only faction probably having truly fun as someone once said earlier
They are living THE dream. At least to them.
GREEN IZ DAZ BESTTT ! x)
I love how the muties magod is probably just what they could make out of data vaults from the term "MAchine GOD".
It also sounds similar to "mah god" aka "my god" :>
I thought it might be a combo of magos and god.
Or a play on Gog and Magog the creatures in the Hebrew bible
The Muties are my new favorite faction. Mad Max aesthetic, tech priest cultism without the stupid invention restrictions, tribal structure and loyalties, and despite living in objectively the worst conditions of the imperium they are the most free and optimistic. They will undoubtedly be purged by the imperium or mechanicus but a man can dream.
Hey who sais the ork rocket won't be taken by the muteys?
i sure do hope that perhaps once the imperium gives them a chance to talk, and by hearing their tale, i also hope they become more understanding toward them
"Like that's ever going to happen!"

Maybe the Necrons aren’t collaborating but rather treating these humans as a giant experiment, this is why they engaged the Ultramarines and the Kill Team disappeared, they are trying to preserve the experiment they are engaged in.
@twizzm I feel that the necrons couldn't care about a bunch of hobos, but when they start fighting it causes more damage than the necrons are fine with so they try eradicating them, but when that's inefficient they go an' work with some to just subdue them
I'd surmise that the senior ranks of Necrons were destroyed by the passage of time, or betrayed by the Crypteks because there weren't any Praetorians, or possibly the planet was such a backwater that the Crypteks were the closest things to nobility. The Crypteks aren't technically nobility, and may well form alliances with humans if it's the most efficient way of going about things.
Maybe one of the wreakers found a sleeping Necron leader, killed it, and tried to use its head as a helmet. Due to the Necron regeneration the human became a part of the Necron and now with 2 minds in one body the Leader saw the humans as non hostile.
Or they are hippy boomer Necrons that want everyone to get along while playing in their yard.
Each Nercon dynasty have their own version of the rules of war. It may well the be that the Wreckers fought so well with what little they had. That the Necron lords respected them for their bravery and tenacity. In exchange for fealty, may have aloud them to live and are now under their protection as a servant race. Meaning you may have human collaborators with Chaos/Heretics, human's enslaved to Orks, Imperial secessionist human worlds, human worlds allied with the Tau and now some who live under the Nercons. Probably not as equals like with the Tau, but depending on the Necron dynasty may live relatively peaceful lives. As long as they do what they are told and don't pose a threat.
Some dynasties allow other races to become vassals(obviously slaves but they don’t kill them) so this tracks. They also could have just been bored and were like “yeah we could kill them but watching them run around like little kids in space survivor man is fun”
Ah Da Orks. 'Prophets of Waaargh' might just be my all-time favourite Black Library audio drama.

"telly porters"?!
I think this single joke may be worth all the suffering and horror of the 40k Universe.
I liked how the Gorkamorka community also built another faction, the Dust Rats, as a kind of Guard analog for the game even after GW stopped support, and seamlessly integrated their lore and struggle alongside the others.
Gather round brothers! The lore master speaks!
No girls allowed!
I just played my first game of Gorkamorka last weekend and this couldn't have popped up on my recommendations at a better time. Didn't know any of the lore for Gorkamorka so this is fantastic!

Great video topic, this is a really enjoyable world to hear about. With all of the grand, intergalactic scale, millennia-spanning things going on in 40K, it's easy to forget how great the 40K Universe is for telling 'small' Sci-Fi stories like this about one weird world where an unusual set of circumstances arise on an alien world lead to unusual cultures arising. It really adds character to the universe to hear of stories like these and I eagerly await part two. This was an excellent choice of world to highlight, I don't usually post in comments but I just really wanted to credit your curation skills in finding this and choosing to highlight it. I've genuinely never heard of this story covered within the other 40K lore channels I follow, and whilst I've never had a problem with the same topics being covered from different lore-tubers' perspective, it's always refreshing to hear something completely new and fascinating. Keep up the excellent work!
Now I want to see a unit for the Orks that is a unit of humans trying to be Orks.

Honestly Luetin vids are like Halloween candy. You kinda know what’s in the bowl... but sometimes you get something you didn’t even know was an option
Just sat down to paint blood bowl orks. And 'ping' the lore master provides the perfect background to edge highlighting. Thank you and may you be forever in the emperors blessing and the inquisitions good books. Stay safe.
This is precisely why I love 40K lore. These weird, completely outside of the normal canon, gems of insanity. Makes me want to start a Mutie army.
Lame comment but:
Last time I was this early for a Luetin vid - The Emperor still had 20 loyal Primarch sons
*21 loyal Primarch sons
i started listening to these videos to fall asleep. not because they are boring, but because its nice to listen to the voice.
My absolute favorite part of 40k is you are prepared for hell and when it is not exactly hell you are elated.
All I can think about is how bad ass off a video game could you make out of this
There's something really funny in hearing Leutin, your loyal imperial archivist, using Ork "accent"
My favorite Ork story:
Their spaceship broke down so they went outside to fix it.
They were nearly finished when another ship came up and rolled down their window before yelling, "Oi ya knobs forgot yer space suits! Yer gonna suffocate!"
Soon after they realized their mistake and began frantically clawing at their throats before dying.
The other ship is laughing their heads off, "Whadda buncha nobs!" As they roll up their windows and fly off.
It's a real thinker.
It's so weird I was thinking about a combined ork human army today, this was basically what I imagined but up to 11, great video as usual
Yeah boi some amazing content coming my way. The Emperor truly protects.
“I’d guess

Holy shit this world is amazing. I wanna run an RPG campaign here.
I haven't watched this video yet but lets see if my Luetin drinking game still applies where you take a drink every time he says the phrase 'parody of human form'.
So mad max but 40k, when the mutants finally meet the imperium and get instantly exterminated for being far to mutated.
Liked, commented for the algorithm. I'm set. Thanks for the vid, Luetin. Stay safe :)
Saw this video on Tuesday and thought:
"Holy Emperor, is it Friday?"
- Real happy for this type of lore/history. TY Luetin.
so theoretically, a space hulk could emerge from the warp containing an ancient advanced xenos species never before seen by man, or a lineage of orks or tyranids that are genetically distinct from their non-isolated counterparts
I love listening to your content when I’m at the gym thank you for keeping me at the gym for an additional 40 minutes
the slow realization that this was about gorkamorka was a really satisfying reveal. At the same time, I never knew there was so much about the setting outside of orky mad max shenanigans. As with many things 40K, there's a surprisingly deep and fun story behind these things
I drive a lot for work and your videos always makes the drives go by faster. Thank you.
"this is a quaint world!" *finger spamming Virus Bomb button*
Honestly, I am not an orky fan, but Luetin is so genuinely excited to talk about them that I find myself very excited to hear about them.
So I know fairly little of Warhammer 40k lore outside of your videos but I could imagine a necron ruler wanting to have more subjects. Perhaps the Necrons saved the humans in exchange for that, an oath of fealty. I'd also imagine that the current "humans" have no recollection of said oath as it would've been sworn by their ancestors several millenia ago, but that the Necron ruler doesn't care and views all descendents of those that swore to be in breach of their oath of fealty. Perhaps the ruler takes delight in the reactions living creatures give to his rulership over them. Perhaps the humans got the aid of the necrons in exchange for repairing some critical error stopping the necron tomb from fully waking up.
At the very least it's an interesting premise.
Man, Warhammer really does do horror brilliantly. As grand as the setting it, it's the small-scale stories that are absolutely terrifying.
Honestly one of the best vids I've seen, the set up and the story telling really hooked me before you even name dropped the obscure spin off game it's set in!
Oh by the emperor! I have never been this early to the video 😂😂
This is such a cool slice of the 40k universe. Never knew the orcs where so pragmatic as a race. Hell the idea of muties as there own faction could meaningfully explored in further stories.
30:20 I literally gasped. That reveal is so awesome and I legitimately had no idea.
WAAAAAAGH!!! LETS GO BOYZ, THE STORY BOY IS 'ERE TA TELL US ANOTHER ONE!
(In my headcanon, ork storytellers are called story boyz 😁)
I mean somehow they must spread their Kultur. I can see Story boyz being a term for Orks who like to talk to other Orks about their adventures (freebootas come to mind)
I remember when this game was released along time ago. It was interesting and fun like necromunda.
I also remember playing space hulk wich started it all. Yes I'm old 😄
I could see the Muties being granted a quick death with posthumus absolution for the sin of mutation. For the Diggas however, there would only be the purging flame.
Eternal Vigilance: *Exists*
Space Hulk: Imma end this ships whole career

Speaking of orks: i read i fan-theory that f***ed my head: “in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war, because the orks believe there should only be war”.
Sorry if this is old. I got into 40k a few months back and i‘m still learning so...
Not too far off; the war in heaven twisted the other side of reality into The Warp, which is a nasty place, and the two realms mirror one another to a certain extent, so until everyone chills out in one theyre both going to continue to be a shitshow.
Of course Orks are a tning, so that's never gonna happen.
