Each Nercon dynasty have their own version of the rules of war. It may well the be that the Wreckers fought so well with what little they had. That the Necron lords respected them for their bravery and tenacity. In exchange for fealty, may have aloud them to live and are now under their protection as a servant race. Meaning you may have human collaborators with Chaos/Heretics, human's enslaved to Orks, Imperial secessionist human worlds, human worlds allied with the Tau and now some who live under the Nercons. I just played my first game of Gorkamorka last weekend and this couldn't have popped up on my recommendations at a better time. Didn't know any of the lore for Gorkamorka so this is fantastic!
A video that I would like to see is that one world that has a bunch of orks and dæmons that are fighting forever and when everyone dies, khorne reanimates everything.
Maybe the Necrons aren’t collaborating but rather treating these humans as a giant experiment, this is why they engaged the Ultramarines and the Kill Team disappeared, they are trying to preserve the experiment they are engaged in.
@twizzm I feel that the necrons couldn't care about a bunch of hobos, but when they start fighting it causes more damage than the necrons are fine with so they try eradicating them, but when that's inefficient they go an' work with some to just subdue them
I'd surmise that the senior ranks of Necrons were destroyed by the passage of time, or betrayed by the Crypteks because there weren't any Praetorians, or possibly the planet was such a backwater that the Crypteks were the closest things to nobility. The Crypteks aren't technically nobility, and may well form alliances with humans if it's the most efficient way of going about things.
Maybe one of the wreakers found a sleeping Necron leader, killed it, and tried to use its head as a helmet. Due to the Necron regeneration the human became a part of the Necron and now with 2 minds in one body the Leader saw the humans as non hostile. Or they are hippy boomer Necrons that want everyone to get along while playing in their yard.
I liked how the Gorkamorka community also built another faction, the Dust Rats, as a kind of Guard analog for the game even after GW stopped support, and seamlessly integrated their lore and struggle alongside the others.

the slow realization that this was about gorkamorka was a really satisfying reveal. At the same time, I never knew there was so much about the setting outside of orky mad max shenanigans. As with many things 40K, there's a surprisingly deep and fun story behind these things
so theoretically, a space hulk could emerge from the warp containing an ancient advanced xenos species never before seen by man, or a lineage of orks or tyranids that are genetically distinct from their non-isolated counterparts
I remember when this game was released along time ago. It was interesting and fun like necromunda. I also remember playing space hulk wich started it all. Yes I'm old 😄

Man, this story encapsulates all the intricate level of diversity that can exist in the 40K galaxy. To think that one barren Tomb-World could grow into so many thriving cultures based off of one critical catastrophe, is just fascinating to imagine. This depth is why Im inlove with 40k Lore.
I haven't watched this video yet but lets see if my Luetin drinking game still applies where you take a drink every time he says the phrase 'parody of human form'.
That piece of lore is actually a very interesting exercise of collective trauma of a civilization, up to tribal scattering, re-discovering and myth building and cargo cult on top of it.
My girlfriend lives about an hour away from me and at this point I think I have watched everything on this channel and I have loved every second, keep up the great work!
Awesome vid as usual! Seems from the early part of the story that the Necrons are not yet ready to wake up and reveal themselves, but simply guarding their tomb. So using these Wreckers as eyes and ears seems reasonable. And the fact that the expedition guy Thorsson (?) felt "called" by the tomb could indicate that he was the catalyst for subverting these humans instead of simply wiping out them and later the orks.
Dear Luetin - I fall asleep listening to your videos every night. Don't worry, it's a compliment - your voice is so relaxing and I enjoy it so much I can just slip off to sleepyland. Thanks for producing such great content. I wonder if anyone else uses your videos to fall asleep to!
My favorite Ork story: Their spaceship broke down so they went outside to fix it. They were nearly finished when another ship came up and rolled down their window before yelling, "Oi ya knobs forgot yer space suits! Yer gonna suffocate!" Soon after they realized their mistake and began frantically clawing at their throats before dying. The other ship is laughing their heads off, "Whadda buncha nobs!" As they roll up their windows and fly off. It's a real thinker.

One of your best work. Really liked it !
the slow realization that this was about gorkamorka was a really satisfying reveal.
Man, Warhammer really does do horror brilliantly. As grand as the setting it, it's the small-scale stories that are absolutely terrifying.
Now I want to see a unit for the Orks that is a unit of humans trying to be Orks.
This is one of my favorite videos out of the dozens I have watched so far. It is great to hear about different things that happen in the verse.
Always humbled by the amount of work and effort you put into your stuff man. Always top listening. 👌🏾
Liked, commented for the algorithm. I'm set. Thanks for the vid, Luetin. Stay safe :)
I remember when this game was released along time ago. It was interesting and fun like necromunda.
I also remember playing space hulk wich started it all. Yes I'm old 😄
Have struggled with faling asleep latly, your videos really help. Relaxing voice and interesserting storylines is so good. Some of your videos i have watched over 4 times, keep comming back after faling asleep and not remembering where i left of. Keep up the good work Lutin ✌️
MY FIRST NEW VIDEO SINCE I SUBBED!! IVE ALREDY WATCHED YOUR ENTIRE CHANNEL! TY for introducing me to Warhammer !
He blessed us with another masterpiece, gather around an listen
My girlfriend lives about an hour away from me and at this point I think I have watched everything on this channel and I have loved every second, keep up the great work!
Move her closer, you'll save on gas mileage this way
“I’d guess
you’d say
what can make me feel this way?
MA GOD!
Talkin bout MA Gooooood!”
Holy shit this world is amazing. I wanna run an RPG campaign here.
Oh by the emperor! I have never been this early to the video 😂😂
The voice, the lore, the narrative, the best. Thank you
"this is a quaint world!" *finger spamming Virus Bomb button*
My favorite Ork story:
Their spaceship broke down so they went outside to fix it.
They were nearly finished when another ship came up and rolled down their window before yelling, "Oi ya knobs forgot yer space suits! Yer gonna suffocate!"
Soon after they realized their mistake and began frantically clawing at their throats before dying.
The other ship is laughing their heads off, "Whadda buncha nobs!" As they roll up their windows and fly off.
It's a real thinker.
"the big dig" Yeah I definitely heard that wrong.
loool
god i had the shittiest night last night, this is exactly what i needed. best distraction ever. make more vids like this one.
YOO LETS GOOOO CAUGHT IT 6 MINUTES AFTER POSTING
Luetin = Critical thinker who feels his way through something complicated and very smartly pulls it apart, unpacks it, polished, garnished and delivers in a digestible format.
this just made my week
30:20 I literally gasped. That reveal is so awesome and I legitimately had no idea.
I'm at the 16 minute mark...is this that planet with Diggaz?
EDIT: Yup, it's Diggaz.
That moment you're painting your orks with Luetin in the backround. Then it slowly dawns on you that it's the backround of Gorka Morka! So good!
I bless this video, in the name of the GORK, and the MORK, and the holy WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Amazing video man! I loved the way you delivered the narrative
