Here’s another series that means the world to me. (I’m a Paper Mario Challenge Runner after all.) It was exhaustive getting to where we are now but I’m ecstatic for the remake.
That being said I did still like some of the modern games despite my issues with said games. Sue me.
Amazing video! These longer videos always manage to fly by for me, it's really easy to get absorbed into your analysis on each one, and it's really interesting to see how the series evolved (and devolved) over time! I think this video might just be your writing at it's best, there were so many little gags and details that I really loved, and the color splash section genuinely made me want to give the game a try at some point! With a series this big and this diverse in theme/gameplay/quality, it's impressive how cohesive this video feels, and it ties everything together really well. I love how big of a focus you put on comparing the games, showing how elements from one could be implemented into another or where one game succeeds where another fails, making it feel like a definitive retrospective of the entire series and not just each game individually. I can't wait to see more, thank you for all your hard work bringing us these videos!

i'm not a huge fan of origami king either, but i do enjoy color splash
In my opinion, the last good Paper Mario was Super Paper Mario. While not turn based, i think it had the best villian since it wasn't just Bowser again. Plus, the story was something Nintendo hasn't ever trier with Mario ever again since then. Color Splash was eh but I hated the Wii U gimmick with the pad and Origami stepped in the right direction, but had a battle system that made the game very exploitable
I’m sorry, but I MASSIVELY disagree with your opinion on Origami King. Feels like you’re being way too unnecessarily harsh and irritable towards it.
Well I'm glad you enjoy it where I cant, but I believe most of the game in unnecessary padding and a complete waste of time

Good video otherwise as I do mainly agree with everything you said for every other PM game and can see why you like Color Splash even if I personally don’t. You did a great job and don’t ever stop doing what you love, girl. :)
The first three were definitely the better ones, sticker star sucked bad, color splash was tolerable, origami king was fun
Paper jam doesn’t exist
Paper Jam is a Mario and Luigi game, not a Paper Mario game, and yes it does exist and yes its really good
