This just happened to my MacBook Pro! I was able to get it into recovery mode by holding down command R - then I used 2 flashlights to see the screen! Thank you for this video if it weren’t for your flashlights I wouldn’t have known this! I hope my screen turns back on- I am restoring it as we speak still it is a dark screen
Yoooooo crazyyy i can’t believe it.. i almost lost hopeee!!! I didnt do it exactly like you but you were able to help me get my computer working you are a genius my friend! I basically didnt ever see the faint screen (i saw it on your screen) but what i did was turn it off waited 3-5 secs and pressed option power waited until i felt the computer to process like the little rumble that happens right before the screen is supposed to turn on and quickly moved the screen to a 45 degree angle.. IT TURNED ON!!!!! Omg i cant believe this worked.. thank you so much for posting this video!!!!
thank you so much!! i had the exact same problem, for anyone who wants to try it: i used the flashlight and there was a reset password window i choose the keyboard not working option then wrote down my log in password and it worked!!!
Hey guys, I'm currently encountering this black screen (MacBook Pro), The touch bar beside my power button (ESC, Brightness, Volume, etc) was lightened up but the screen remained black. I can't seemed to adjust the brightness nor volume, it's not sensoring towards my touch. I've watched few of the videos, tried out all of the possible methods. (Unsure if my methods sequence were right though) I manage to shutdown my Mac (I guess as I heard a sound) however it's not working still. The black screen is still there. It works fine this afternoon and the last notice I've received was, clear out my disk space as it's full. (I've boot camp the windows on my Mac) kindly assist please ; 3 ; PS: I literally couldn't see any faint screen on my Mac with this phone torch in any view lol
I put the laptop in the charger and it was intact, and when I came back after an hour, the laptop did not work and its screen was black, also the touch bar it does’t work, and i tried some ways maybe its help to trun on the laptop but nothing made it work

Hello there, I have macbook air 2019, idk whats wrong with my mac its screen turns black while using. To bring the display back, I need to put my mac in direct sunlight for few minute and the display shows up again. I tried to reset NVRAM everything, but its been a week and showing the shame problem. Any idea what I should do?
@@hoanhchaukien977 make sure the laptop is charged and you hear the laptop powered up. the screen will be very faint and then you can open up the screen and use a torch or even the torch on your mobile phone. look right in the centre of the screen move the light and you should be able to see whats on the screen - best of luck make sure you laptop is charged and it on. and of course you will need your password once the screen is on

Will it be able to show the visuals if we connect it to monitor. 🤔
Wow wow thanks a ton! It worked..
Most easy way is to connect your mac to TV. By HDMI. And the screen will be on.
Same thing happened. My bar is still coming up my screen is black. I hope this video works for me cause Apple wants a lot of $$$ to fix it…
OMG thank you so much, this worked for meeee! :)
