Back in70's I used to work in a machine shop,I used to operate hydraulic, machine Profiler a complete different more compilcated machine but similar .we would use cigarette match cover to help stylus from under cutting material in this case aluminum instead of wood. We use to machine pockets in buckheads for General Dynamics F111,and other air craft parts very labor intensive

Barry, this is so incredible watching the process. I loved watching all the videos on the '48. This wood is for my '51 Super 50. My father bought it in 1973. We've been working on it little by little over the years and finally decided it's now or never. Unfortunately, due to injuries/surgeries/illness' it's been very slow. It would be great to meet up with you when we pick up the order to check out your '48. By the way, we're from San Diego, not Northern California. Can't wait to get this wood home.

So great to hear from you! I was fascinated watching the process myself! I hope you can send pics of your finished project.

@@BarryTsGarage I think I misunderstood the videos about the '48. Does it belong to you, JB, or is it a car that you were able to make a series on? Either way, I love the videos. I can't wait to pick up our wood. We ended up having to resubmit our original order. Apparently I left off 2 pages of additional wood and di-noc. Ohh well. It will be worth it.

Hi Barry and hello from Mexico city!
I saw the videos and it's just impressive.
I'm currently restoring my two 1950 BUICK WOODY SUPER STATION WAGONS.
And one of the most difficult parts to do it's the wood and therefore
I will be very grateful if you can please help me, to get in touch with JB carpenters.
